Poipu Perfection

We were blown away with how beautiful this house and property were. It was quiet and had everything we needed. We loved the retractable walls to enjoy the fresh island breeze throughout the day. The kitchen was very well stocked and the grill on the patio was perfect for grilling up fish and burgers.Hot tub was delightful just allow enough time for it to heat after you turnnit on.We would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you for making it such a wonderful place to be.

This home is Stunning. The neighborhood is quiet and the location is great! The house was spotless when we checked in. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped, and the layout is perfect. The garage has everything you would need for a beach day. The beaches are super close! Poipu beach is less than a 5 min drive, Shipwreck beach is 7 minutes or less away. There are Several restaurants just down the street. We have zero complaints! Can’t wait to return!

Akahai

WOW amazing home and property! We picked this home for our wedding / honeymoon and could not have been happier! We stayed 10 nights and wish it was longer. The pictures of the home and property do not do it justice…stunning! Perfect location to everything, huge front yard with incredible landscaping. The backyard with the pool made you feel like you were in a secluded private jungle! The house itself has every detail that you would ever want in a vacation home. All 3 king suites had different views of this gorgeous island. And the kitchen brought family and friends together EVERY evening! The home was stocked with fresh linens, pots and pan, top notch cutlery to every game imaginable for families. It also had everything you need for the beach from chairs, umbrellas to mask and snorkels! This home had it all…we even took most of our pre-wedding pictures at the home because of it beautiful scenery! The Parrish Collection pulls it all together with its friendly staff, check in process, house keeping and the Mai Tai in refrigerator when you check in was a special touch. We would rent this house every year when we come back to Kauai! Only negative note is the downstairs AC, which we saw in other reviews. We had to move our infant son to the “office” to slept because that room has its own AC unit. Mahalo!

Quality property in excellent condition, well furnished and equipped to meet all your needs including a gourmet kitchen and gear for outdoor and beach activities. The design of the property and grounds make you feel like your are living on a private estate. There layout of the house provides plenty of space for group gatherings or private retreats when you need alone time.

Akahai

This is a very special home. It is clear that building it was a labor of love. The house is sited magnificently, with views of the garden, the mountains, and the ocean from the three bedrooms, respectively. There are large windows on several sides in every room, bringing the outdoors in, and if you are observant, you'll notice a simple hanging twig sculpture that is highlighted by the sun in the morning. The home's design affords everyone privacy at night while bringing everyone together in the large kitchen/gathering room. Finishes are top notch and ceilings are high. We especially enjoyed having coffee every morning on the lanai. Our family of six (all adults) absolutely loved it. Easy, lovely living.

The vacation home was beautiful, even better than the pictures and description provided on the website. The kitchen was well stocked and each room had comfortable linens and mattresses. We were greeted with a deliciously stocked tray of tidbits from the island and a jar of mai tai (still waiting for JP’s recipe). All in all it made for the perfect vacation getaway.

Wonderful home

We stayed for 10 days and would have loved to stay longer. The house and pool were clean and in excellent condition. The welcome packet was one of the best I've received - thoughtful and useful items and tasty treats. I've rented homes in Hawaii many, many times and can say that my experience with Parrish was one of the best if not the best experience that I've had. The booking and access to the house was easy and seamless. I will rent from Parrish again.

Great home

We loved the house… great pool.. nice size for three couples.. the only issue was the lower level AC did not work.. called owners and it took 3 days for repair to show up. He was not able to repair. We read on reviews that this was a problem with other renters .. Very uncomfortable for sleeping. I think they knew about the issue and did not repair before we got there..

Amazing Property!

This property was so beautiful, perfect location, amazing private pool/hot tub and SO CLEAN. We were so impressed with the maintenance of the home and would definitely recommend as well as stay again. Check in process was also a breeze and they also checked in throughout the week to see if we needed anything. Overall a WONDERFUL vacation!

Very nice house

We were a family of four. Our two children also brought their significant others. Six total. The house layout was great. Sliders opening from the kitchen to the patio, pool, hot tub. After returning from the day’s activities we spent the late afternoons here. House has a Sonos system so poolside tunes made it fun. The master everything was great. Each bedroom had its own bath. House was wonderfully landscaped. Very private. The Parrish collection was the property manager. Great communication. Not inexpensive to rent for a week. But a great value. I definitely felt it was worth it and would stay here again.

We loved staying at this property and thought it was even better in person than in the photos. Great location, the outdoor area/ pool was wonderful and the house was very clean. They provided an amazing welcome basket with snacks, mai tais and coffee, which was much appreciated. I would note that the hot tub is not an actual hot tub but that wasn’t an issue for us. Thanks for a great stay!

We love the Parrish collection and know we will arrive to a clean, beautiful house with and amazing gift basket which starts the vacay off right. WE LOVE this house and have stayed here multiple times but the beds need a few more soft pillows as the king size pillows are very hard and flat. Dryer was leaking water, master bedroom toilet running.

Jamie was very helpful with my request especially if she finds my daughters cup. Our first stay we were a late check in also. We received our keys at the car rental. That was much more convenient. The lock was a bit sticky and difficult to relock. We did not have hot water for 2 days and the dishwasher broke. Garage availability or lack there of would have been nice to know before we arrived.

Aloha Mary, Akahai is a healthy walk to the beach, but doable. I know the owner does as well as others in the Poipu Beach Estate neighborhood. Maybe 10-15 minutes, depending on how fast you walk. The nearest beach is Kiahuna Beach. Aloha.

Akahai is one of my most favorite homes to rent on that island! It’s perfect in every way!

We have booked with Parrish 6 times in the past and every time our expectations are exceeded! We only go through your management company because we always know everything g will go smoothly and as planned. Thanks for being a great company! Christie Volkmer was great! She was prompt in answering my calls and returning information quickly. She worked to get us in to the rental with an earlier check in and was prepared with all that we needed to enter the property and enjoy ourselves! Awesome at what she does!

Top Notch

Thanks all for one of our best top notch vacation experiences. We have rented before from others on other islands but this one definitely rates as the BEST experience. Although the pics and descriptions match the property, the pics and descriptions will never do justice to this home. You may want to add, central music system as an additional bell & whistle. Also – have the speaker outside repaired as well as hot tub. All members we dealt with provided us with a great customer experience.

Overall, a really great experience.

We loved that the house had ample outdoor space and the pool was not overly chlorinated. We also really enjoyed the sound system throughout the house. The master shower was phenomenal.

The house was wonderful.

Christie was very nice and Chris assisted with our introduction to the house. Thanks for the mai tais and gift basket! We would have eaten all of the mai tai sorbet, but sadly for us, we didn’t realize it was in the freezer until the last night! It would have been helpful to know that the house included Netflix, so we could bring along our password for that. We received it at a discount, due to construction that was to occur in our originally-rented house, so not sure I would recommend this house, just due to the higher price. Also, we would have preferred to be walking distance to more amenities. In addition, we would have liked the blinds in the bedrooms to keep out the light in the early morning hours, as the blinds are translucent or nearly transparent, depending on the lighting. We’d like to suggest that a dish-drying rack be included in the kitchen. Also, it would be nice if the pantry had more items in it, say maybe spices and olive oil, sugar, etc. We would have preferred to be able to park our vehicle in the garage. Also, it would be helpful if guests were provided info on the pool and beach items that are provided with the house, so they don’t bring any of these items from home. Your staff was already aware that the jets in the hot tub were not working. All else was fine.

On spices, oils, etc. we make a choice not to leave previous guests’ leftovers in our properties for safety and sanitary reasons. Staff, house itself in good condition, kitchen clean ????

Casey, Chris, Kristi, Casey and maybe Dedra (can’t remember her name she gave the discount for the broken hot tub. Ants in the kitchen, they brought pest control a few days later (we had it on a Friday and obviously over the holiday weekend there was no one avail….hot tub broken – but Parrish was very responsive and gave us a discount. Fan broken outside…they brought a floor fan to help.

Natalie had excellent follow up. Pat seemed frustrated with me during our challenge with the heavy machinery but tried accommodating and Lisa at the desk was very short with me on the phone but in person was the first time was not helpful But the second visit she was kind and attentive. So I think our issue was just unexpected and we all did our best. Moving from property to property wasn’t the best as we felt we lost time dealing with it and then moving personal items. But in the end I want to thank you for helping us get a new location. Appreciated.

The pool!

Natalie was the person we dealt with throughout our stay. She was always pleasant and helpful and very responsive. Our bar b q wasn’t working. But maintenance staff came right away and looked into it. As it turned out the ignitor was broken. They weren’t able to replace it before check out as it had to be ordered. We were able to light it with a manual flame though. The only thing that was perhaps missing at our rental was a fly swatter! That would have been really handy! Other than that, it was a perfect stay!

Professionalism and knowledge of the staff, especially Natalie and Robin.

Natalie was extremely professional and diligent in addressing the details of our stay. She is a wonderful ambassador for the Parrish Kauai team. Hot water system was not working properly. Ice machine was repaired while in residence.

The fact that your office is located on the Island, and the agents are familiar with the properties. I called the office, and asked for a temporary solution for the missing window cover.
