Akala Pua and Ahe Lani are two separate homes on the same property that can be rented together. Both homes have been lovingly cared for and are within walking distance to two popular South Shore beaches in Poipu. Lawai Beach is to your left and Baby Beach is to your right, so choose your direction and in 200 plus yards you will enjoy the sun and sand. Distant ocean views can be relished from the upper level great room while preparing the daily meals and sharing the memories created during your stay at Akala Pua. Enjoy beautiful garden views from the single story Ahe Lani.

Quality Property

This is a really nice unit that works well for a family of 8. Only issue we had was the intense humidity made it difficult to sleep as it felt so hot. Probably the time of year more than anything.

Close to the beach!

Great property! We had a great stay. We rented both houses and found it to work out perfectly! It is a lovely place. Fans in the rooms were helpful, it was warm without air conditioning.

Best Poipu Vacation!

Perfect home for a large family group. All necessities taken care of. Great location near Baby Beach and Beach House Beach snorkeling. Easy walk to Kukuiula Shopping Center.

Great Property- great location

Spent my parents 50th anniversary with our entire family and had a great time. The house had everything we needed to prepare dinners and travel to various beaches. Location was perfect- a quick walk to baby beach, a 3 mile run to Spouting horn and walking distance to a nice shopping mall. We had 10 guests and never felt crowded! Loved the nightly parakeet invastion ????

Wonderful home Great area

Everything about this property was first class. My husband, 4 children and 2 grandchildren stayed . We never had to go to the store to buy kitchen or bathroom items as they were well stocked, as well as laundry supplies. There were enough beach towels and chairs for all of us also.. we had a wonderful time staying in this “Beautiful Home”.

Perfect Family Vacation

What a delightful time in Kauai! We rented both homes and it was ideal. My son’s family stayed in the back house and I shared the front house with my daughter’s family. Both homes are well supplied, including beach towels/beach chairs/boogie boards. Beautiful furnishings, comfortable beds. Nice lawn between the two houses with chaise lounges & a grille. Great location. It was easy for the teenagers to walk to the beach. We look forward to coming back!

Spectacular property & experience

We rented both properties for 9 adults & 1 toddler. The location in Poipu was super convenient & close to amazing beaches, golf courses, botanical garden, good restaurants & shopping. The houses had everything we needed, with all of the comforts of home. I highly recommend the property & can’t wait to come back again.

FANTASTIC!

Perfect!

We loved your property. It was spotless. The decor was beautiful. Lots of bathrooms! Cozy beds with clean crisp sheets. We rented both homes and it was perfect for us. The millennials stayed in the smaller house so they could stay up late and sleep in. There were plenty of beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas. Both homes were stocked with all the kitchen supplies and laundry room supplies. There was WiFi and cable TV. Perfect. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your gorgeous home. Family get-away

Located a five minute walk to a small beach, the houses are well equipped with extras such as beach towels, toys and chairs and even a Pack and Play for the baby. It was perfect for our family get-away.

Both houses are beautiful, well laid out and remarkably well equipped - and the location is great.

We found the houses perfect for our needs – they are really well equipped with everything you could hope for in a vacation house. We particularly appreciated having two master suites plus a third bath in the main house. And we loved the location – within walking distance of both Baby Beach and a nice shopping center with some really good restaurants. If it hadn’t been for Hurricane Lane and her rainy aftermath it would have been one of our best vacations ever.

Lovely Kauaian Home!

This property has been our family’s home away from home for several years. The floor plan works perfectly for our daughters, husbands and growing families. The houses are even well stocked with supplies for our stay! The ocean view from the second story lanai is beautiful and the ground floor lanais are pretty garden views. The location near baby beach, Kukuiula Shopping Village and Beach House Beach is great! So much is in walking distance. We loved our stay!

Paradise!

We could not have found a more perfect spot to suit our vacation needs! With 5 adults and 5 kids we had everything we could have wanted in these two adjacent homes. The kids had a great lawn area to play on as well as plenty of space for toys and games. The adults had plenty of places to relax and a nice patio to enjoy as well. The houses are decorated nicely and well maintained. The landscaping is beautiful. While baby beach is a short walk, we rented cars and explored other beaches and found that our favorites were just minutes away. The property is ideally situated for early morning walk/runs and there is great snorkeling also within walking distance. The management company was easy to work with and very accommodating when we needed a late check-out. To me, it was stressful to try and plan a trip that would suit three generations, but this was the perfect spot. Our grandchildren will be talking about this trip and our “vacation house” for years to come! Thank you so much.

Exceeded expectations

We had 5 couples and it met all of our needs. We needed 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and everything was very nice. The location was great. It was centrally located and we were able to get to all the activities we wanted with reasonable travel times, which included golfing, kayaking, hiking, snorkeling, and shopping. Definitely a winner for us.

Absolutely LOVED Maluhia ma ka Honua!

Loved every minute of our visit in Kauai… and it was made even more lovely due to staying in this home! We had came with our 2 boys – 4.5 and 3 years old and it was perfect. We appreciated the lawn chairs, towels, cooler, etc. in the garage – and we even left additional sand toys and a big ball for future families to enjoy. The home is SO SPACIOUS and inviting… the photos don’t do the home justice. The home was very, very clean upon arrival and all my questions/concerns were addressed that came up. This was the best home we have stayed at in the Poipu area and look to be back next year or so. Thank you thank you for opening up this home to vacation renters!

Family Perfect!

We just concluded our stay at this beautiful property. The houses are situated one in front of the other with a nice green yard seperating them. There is a kitchen in each and large living space and decks to entertain. The rooms are large with comfortable beds and large baths. Poipu is a very small area and the house is no more than 5 minutes from any beach, restaurant or bar, plus has a ocean view from the top deck. The Kukuiula shopping center is a 2 minute walk and is the newest shopping area in Poipu with upscale restaurants, Bubba’s burgers, surf shop and much more. Our family (10 and growing) has been going to Kauai for over 25 years and have rented many houses. We have rented this property for the last 2 years and have already reserved it for next year. Kauai is a special place and this is a special property!
