The private L-shaped pool is perfect for keeping cool and enjoying the Poipu Beach sunshine all year round. Hale Aloha Kai is also for the food and cooking enthusiast with a large gourmet kitchen and all stainless appliances and breakfast bar. The separate casual dining area along with the formal dining table for 10 is ample room for all to enjoy the island inspired meals.

As many other reviewers have noted, this place is much bigger in person than in real life! It was great for two families traveling together-- the "condo" next to the house was great for the older kids, and the rest of us have plenty of space in the remaining bedrooms. Our kids were really impressed by the enormous refrigerator! The pool was great-- it's so big, so refreshing, and lovely to look at. The views from the upper deck were beautiful, especially at sunset. Baby Beach is a close walk (wear water shoes-- the rocks are sharp) and Kukui'ula Shopping Village was a few minutes walk away-- great amenities, shopping, and restaurants. The house was overall great-- one of the two dishwashers wasn't working but the managers were responsive to our inquiries and we would absolutely stay there again! Thank you so much!

Our extended multi-generational family consists of adults and children and we love the house. We especially love the open floor plan with large kitchen with lots of places to sit on the main floor that allows for gathering with beautiful and relaxing views of the outdoor. The pool was also a win for everyone especially my 8 years old niece. There were a few inconveniences but our overall stay was great and we would come back and stay here again.

Perfect House

The team at Parrish did a great job in prearrival communication. We had a group of adults and children and the house was perfect for giving each one their own space when needed. It was great to go to any of the local beaches, and then cool off again in the pool. The avocado tree in the back was a hit with the kiddos, and they couldn't wait for one to ripen. The lack of air conditioning was not a major issue. There were times that the home was a bit hot and humid, but by night fall, we all slept fine; thanks for the fans in all of the rooms. One of the dishwashers didn't work, and should be looked at and communicated to future guests. It would also be great to update some of the frying pans and nonstick utensils in the kitchen. The kitchen was great for socializing and we had plenty of places to sit and eat as a group. Thank you for also providing some pool towels. It would be great if the home provided beach chairs, which were easy to rent, just a bit costly for the week. Overall, we'd stay again at this home and with Parrish Kauai

Great house for multigenerational vacations! We had kiddos who loved the pool and Baby beach (perfect for littles!) and we had grandparents who enjoyed quiet time in the bungalow. Kitchen was awesome and allowed for us to cook family meals and enjoy on the deck. Shops are within walking distance as are shaved ice and ice cream places.

Family/Friends Vacation

This property was beautiful and very clean. The pictures do not actually do it justice. The house is better than the pictures seen online. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We had 6 adults and 2 teenagers occupying the house as well as family and friends who came over to have dinner and just hang out. The kitchen is huge with 2 islands -- loved it. Only complaint was no air-conditioning. It did get pretty warm in the evenings. There were several fans throughout the house to help keep it cool. The pool was super nice also. We enjoyed our visit very much. I would definitely come back and stay here again.

Wonderful house, convenient to everything

There were 12 of us–3 generations, ranging from 9 months to 65 years. The house itself had great spaces to be together and apart. The kitchen was amazing–had everything needed to make lovely meals for our group, including our Thanksgiving Feast. We enjoyed the ocean view, as well as the very short walk to baby beach, which was perfect for our little ones. The pool was cold, but that did not deter the children from swimming daily. There is no air conditioning, but ample ceiling and floor fans were adequate on all but one particularly warm evening.

The freezer in the main house didn’t work well. Ice cream became mush and popsicles melted. We were able to get ice from the smaller unit, as well as keep items frozen there.

The view was amazing from the top floor.

The pool was amazing for swimming laps and games. Roosters and birds at dawn and dusk were a pleasant surprise. Large size for families. Most kitchen items we found that we needed. Plenty of TP/paper towels/dish soap/regular soap/laundry soup so we didn’t have to purchase. Fans in every room to help since no AC. Fantastic pool and pool house. Nice selection of beach toys. Pool is difficult to clean as lots of trees that drop things. Pool guy did come on Tues. Gardener didn’t come on Weds. Lots of debris he could have taken. One of the dishwashers stopped working on Thursday, but no problem as there were 2. The ice machine couldn’t get to work so we made our own in trays provided. Didn’t matter to us.

Spacious, Location, and the Pool

We had a wonderful Vacation, my children loved the house. Can’t wait to go back to Hawaii. Pool was cold, I loved it but some of the guests didn’t like how cold the pool was, but overall great. Was actually surprised how good the pictures described the home. After-hours arrival was fast and easy. Crystal and Eilyn were very helpful to me.

Perfect house, perfect location

Overall, this property was simply outstanding. It is in an ideal location: close to shopping, superb dining options, quiet street, and across the street from baby beach. Beautiful views, esp at sunset. The interior is light and airy with 2 large gathering areas and a modern, well equipped gourmet kitchen. There was plenty of space for our party of 8 and 1 infant: 3 couples (in 3 “suites” inc cottage) and 2 adult children (in 2 additional bedrooms sharing a full bathroom). We thoroughly enjoyed the pool. We could not have asked for more!

A slice of heaven

I would like to say this is a terrible place so no one would rent it and it would be available only to me. But that would not be kind to the owners. This is a fabulous place to stay. It is a perfect location, the home is well supplied, everything is in wonderful condition. The upstairs bedroom is truly a slice of heaven, cool breezes blow through at night for perfect sleeping. Sitting on the sea wall at night to watch the sun set with a glass of wine-a perfect way to end the day. I will return to this wonderful home.

Beautiful house in excellent location

My family enjoyed this house and vacation immensely. We stayed for 11 days and found the house to fit all of our needs and beyond. We played in the pool and also took the short walk to baby beach multiple times. Could not imagine a better experience.

Great place to stay

This house is spectacular, the pictures do not do it justice! Excellent stay, everything available that you can think of and great location to Baby Beach and the shopping center. We would definitely return.
