We loved the unit we stayed in (3201/02). The views from the two lanais are stunning. The unit was spotless when we arrived. The bed was very comfortable. The decor was so lovely. HBR was nicely landscaped and had lots of amenities (tennis, multiple pools, activities).

Some issues, but beautiful views
by Susan L.I was going to skip reviewing this VRBO because I already gave a critical review to the Parrish Collection, but I got an email saying I was reviewed as a guest and the only way to see it is if I leave a review here. Now I'm curious what they have to say, so here it goes: CONS -We had to search for pillows for the Murphy Bed and a rickety cabinet door fell off of a cabinet that seems barely held together.One of the sliding glass doors wouldn't lock.* I contacted the Parrish Collection to notify them of the above two issues. They offered to send someone to fix those, but we didn\'t want to be bothered with that on our vacation.We also noticed:A stool for the dining room table was wobbly.One of the AC/fans wouldn\'t shut off.No working exhaust fans in hot bathrooms.Only 3 mugs for 4 people. Gross, rusted, metal tissue box holders.Some walls had marks and could use re-painting or touching up.Also, I was notified by VRBO before the trip that payment was missing which gave me a heart attack, and I had to confirm with the Parrish Collection that they did receive payment.PROS -The units were very clean and the beds were comfortable - even the Murphy Bed, which I had been worried wouldn't be. The Hanalei Bay Resort is an amazing place with very nice staff.This condo has incredible mountain and sunset views when the weather is good.I guess I'd give it 3 stars overall because of the cons listed, but I bumped it up to 4 because of the location and gorgeous, off-the-char

As you mentioned, we did offer to send a member of our team to address the issues you had told us about however you responded you did not need these problems addressed and you just wanted us to know. We do greatly appreciate our guests feedback while they are staying with us and will take every effort to address their concerns. Not letting us know about your other concerns or allow us to address the two you mentioned and then complain later is not fair. If you had reported all the issues and we did not address them, then I would agree it would be worth noting. All payments for VRBO bookings are made by us as the merchant of record, and I would not know why VRBO, would reach out to you about payment. We are happy to hear you enjoyed the beauty of Kauai and hope you can return soon.
Nice stay
by Ken S.the room was very good - great view/location - nice layout-the kitchen and TVs were small but we knew that and they were fine. The rental company-parrish-were excellent with communications etc. The resort - Hanalei Bay-was just ok. Although the restaurant was excellent they offered no breakfast or lunch-who ever heard of a resort without breakfast or lunch. Although they charged for parking - it was always a challenge to find a spot. The fitness center was small and crowded. The staff was excellent.

Wonderful! The only draw back is the beach, the other resort that shares the beach access has chairs/ beds on the beach but there is nowhere for guests of this resort to sit and relax. Everything else was amazing.

Gorgeous place. The view off the porch is so pretty it’s hard to leave, place is clean, associated amenities and beach access are beautiful. We will stay here again if we return to Kauai!!

Great Stay
by Monika T.We had such a wonderful time at this condo! The view alone is worth every penny! The lanai has a fantastic view and we had breakfast out there every morning. The condo itself is very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The condo provides beach chairs and a cooler, and is a quick walk down to the beach. A great beach to watch the sunset 🙂 the condo is only about a 10 minute drive to Hanalei. Overall we had a great stay!

The views were absolutely spectacular. The bed was ultra comfortable, towels/sheets, soft and luxurious. The only recommendation we would make is to repair/replace the Murphy bed. Given, two of the handles appear to have been repaired and glued previously, they were hanging upon our arrival. It was definitely challenging to open the bed, we had to jiggle it back and forth with significant force until it unlocked as it is quite stuck and not in optimal order. We left it down our entire stay to ensure we would be able to utilize it.
Everything else was wonderful. Hanalei Bay Resort is beautiful and Puu Poa beach is exquisite. Definitely take the golf cart ride down. Given, the beach is shared with 1 Hotel you can easily dine on their property which we didn’t know. The pool, hot tub, waterfalls, koi pond lovely as well as meals at Happy Talk. The majestic mountains, exquisite sea views, waking to the sounds of the birds singing are indelibly marked in our memories forever. Thank you!
A Divinely Stay in the North Shore

The condo views were unbelievable. It was as described. For two people it was perfect. The bed was comfortable and location perfect for up north. It was great to be able to walk to Happy Talk and get some amazing food with a great view. The pool area was nice, unfortunately the pool bar and restaurant were not open. We walked down and spent a day at the beach which was just beautiful and not too crowded. There was beach gear in one of the closets which was awesome! Had a very good dinner at B’s kitchen right up the street. The condo was a little expensive but the view makes it worth it!

This is wonderful condo with ample room for two guests, possibly four. We loved the decor and furnishings, along with the beach equipment. The balconies overlooking the Hanalei Bay are gems. The view is currently marred by the building site for a revamped hotel. We had trouble with the wifi and cable, so look into that early if you too experience issues. We strongly recommend a stay.

Be aware of an $8 a day in parking and $20 a day in resort fees in addition to all the Airbnb fees. the kitchen is tiny and would be pretty inconvenient if you planned to cook a lot of meals. we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying again.

Vrbo was misleading
by Stephen k.I rented a 1 br 2ba. The layout was 2 condos (1 studio and a 1 bedroom). I would have prefered the option to rent one or the other.

The design allows flexibility to rent as separate studio units, however we do not do that. The layout is set up with one bedroom separate from the living quarters, so in effect a one-bedroom as advertised.
Hanalei Bay Resort - WONDERFUL
