If you truly want to experience Kauai, this condo has it all. You can stay in place and enjoy the endless beach walks. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean each night was the best, waking up to the sunrise was another bonus. Sleeps up to six with 2 bathrooms! I look forward to my next stay at this property.

Great spot to explore all kauai from
It did take us one night to get used to no A/C with the humidity, but the fans in the place are powerful and kept us cool. We had everything we needed to make breakfast and lunch, and we ate out for dinner. There are 2 coolers, some beach chairs, boogie boards. If you nice a smell, its likely the chairs. Im sure most people use them then leave them in the car trunk where they get warm while still wet. So hose them off and air outside after using! We saw whales from the lanai. The beach is not at all busy, its a 2 second walk off the patio. Most times we were the only ones out there on the beach. The place is better than it looks in the pictures! The couch was very comfortable, as were the beds. We loved to watch the sunrise each morning, and feel the breeze when we were in the living room or on the lanai. The sound of the waves was always so peaceful. We went end of February/beg of March for reference. I highly reccomend this place if you can get by without a/c. Not sure how it is in summer, but i think the rest of the year you\'re fine. It is about 45-60 min to north or west side activities. There seem to be lots to do nearby, but we went to all the big sites and activities since was our first time to this island. I would stay again

The place was really clean and taken care of. We had everything we needed for a great stay. The washer and dryer came in handy as our beach towels were soaked everyday, and was nice to have clean towels in such a humid place during our stay! What sold us to book was the location to the beach. And the place was even better in person than in the pictures. Amazing!
Great central location to explore Kauai
This property was centrally located to explore both North and South Kauai. Quiet well maintained resort. The ground floor unit is perfectly located to capture the ocean view and hear the rolling surf as you drift off to sleep. Kitchen is well equipped with new fridge and newer dish washer. Beds were comfortable and clean linens and towels. Plastic shower curtain is moldy and should be replaced and did see 2 cockroaches there during our stay which I think is fairly common in this climate. Pool was warm but still refreshing and we enjoyed walking down to Lydgate Park and into Kapaa. We would definitely stay here again! mahalo!
Great views and central location
Pros: morning views of sunrises, all day excellent views of ocean, sidewalk trail to the both and east all along the ocean available just beyond the back lawn/hedge, family friendly beach within walking distance. Con: sewage treatment plant to the north emitted a most unpleasant odour in the evening several times during our stay. A local said it will be getting worse.

Für Aktivitäten rund um die Insel gut gelegen. der Strand ist zwar vor der "Haustür", aber nicht zum Schwimmen geeignet.
Für 4 Gäste wäre mehr Geschirr und Besteck hilfreich. wir haben händisch abgewaschen, da der Geschirrspüler sonst fast leer gelaufen wäre.
Manche Möbel sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen.
Parkmöglichkeit ist gut, WLAN hat einwandfrei funktioniert.

The sound of the surf at night
We really enjoyed our stay! The view from #125 was awesome. I loved being able to just sit on the lanai and watch the surf, and the sound of the surf at night made for some very peaceful sleep. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The only thing we looked for and couldn't find was an ice cream scope, which was no big deal. Everything else was there. The gas grill in the common area also worked well. I used it to grill up some ribeyes. The furniture and beds were in good condition and comfortable. Because these units are not air conditioned, they did get warm (our stay was in August), particularly in the morning when the sun came directly in from the east. Being on the ground floor did mitigate that somewhat along with the breeze coming in from the ocean, and the east facing back was very shaded in the afternoons and evenings making the lanai quite pleasant. Being on the ground floor was also a big plus for my elderly mother.
Great place to stay. Super close to Lydgate park. Would definitely stay again.

Very dated, in need of updating;
1) mildew on shower door
2) inside hinges, faucets very corroded
3) outdoor chairs had large pieces of paint peeling off
4) ant traps with ants trapped on kitchen windowsill and in drawers
5) live roach in bathroom-we took care of it before it scurried away
6) microwave only worked on minute settings
7) stains on bedspread also on inside and outside of curtains
8) master bedroom screen on sliding door didn't lock and with homeless people walking nearby, didn't feel safe leaving unlocked on this ground floor Airbnb
9) property listed as 5 beds, however sectional couch counted as 2 of the 5
Aloha Lowell. Throughout your stay, we checked in with you several times. Not once did you mention any concerns regarding cleanliness, bugs or required maintenance. We thoroughly check these units before each arrival. Sometimes things may get missed, and we apologize for that, but we do wish that you would have let us know if there was something wrong. We would have addressed it immediately. We are sorry that you were not happy with your visit. We do wish we had the opportunity to make it right while you were in-house. The five beds are listed correctly, as there are two sleeper sofas in the unit. In the meantime, we have had maintenance check the locks on the sliding doors and screens and addressed some of your additional concerns. Mahalo.

Great Location and close to the beach. Quiet at night.
We enjoyed our stay at Kaha Lani in Lihue! Our property was exactly what was listed. There is a beautiful beach off the living room and master bedroom. Right next door is Lydgate Beach Park, with a lifeguard on duty and a swimming lagoon.

Parrish Kauai was an amazing home away from home. We were able to walk right down to the beach and a 5 min walk away was a perfect snorkel spot for the kids. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The washer/dryer in the unit is a must for Hawaii. There were plenty of towels and supplies. The beach chairs and coolers were a necessity and so helpful to have right on site. The backyard was lovely and we were able to watch a Hawaiian sunrise every morning right from our bed.

Kuai rental
Beautiful ocean view. Kitchen lacking good supplies. Both Sliding doors had to have a stick to lock as lock didn't work. Dresser in 2nd room needs repair and updated. Some painting needed.

the No AC was fine for the bedroom facing the ocean if you kept the windows and door open, but the back room was a sweat box. The place was very close to restaurants and a good place to get anywhere on the island with its location in the middle very close to the airport. with no AC it would be nice if the screen doors locked so you could keep them open with no security worries. the sunrise was beautiful every morning and we enjoyed the walking right out the front door.

The condo was clean and spacious, everything you need is close and it’s a centrally located spot to move about the island.
Great location and views. Good value for the location and easy access to the beach. The unit needs some cosmetic updates and updated patio furniture but it’s still a great place to stay and we will definitely be coming back.

Communication with the host was great and check in was smooth. The home is very nice with great appliances. The patio to the beach access and privacy was wonderful!

Amazing condo
The condo is in the perfect location for everything. Centrally located so traveling anywhere is a breeze. Sunrise from the condo or footsteps away on the beach. HIGHLY recommend this location.
Perfect location
We loved being able to see and hear the ocean from our unit. Loved the short walk to the beach, so private, we only saw one other couple the whole time.
This would be great for a family with children!
We really enjoyed the location of this property. It is right in between Lihue and Kapa'a, and made it easy to get to restaurants and purchase supplies, and a quick trip to and from the airport. It also was pretty much central so touring the island was easy. There is really no restaurants within walking distance, so you will have to drive pretty much everywhere. (BTW, parking is ample and very close to the property). We took my elderly parents, and they appreciated the nice walkway in front of the condo, which they used for the morning walks. It is far enough away so you do not feel like people are in your space. And it's a very close walk to Lydgate Beach, which is an ideal beach for swimming (if you have young children, this would be a great place as Lydgate is protected and very calm). The condo is older and a bit tight. We let my parents have the primary bedroom/bathroom and that worked just fine for them, but the other bedroom/bath was a bit small for me. It would probably be just fine for kids. Because it is older, I think they did their best with cleaning, but there were a few spots that were either missed or just not able to seem clean anymore. I have high standards for cleanliness, and I still felt like the property was clean enough. The grounds are well maintained and very nice, and we very much enjoyed the pool area. Be aware that there is no air conditioning, and you mostly do not need it if you keep the windows open. However, the roosters are fairly noisy (starting well before dawn), so keep that in mind if that would bother you. Overall we were very pleased with the unit and would recommend it to most people.
Family loved the stay here. Location was perfect for a quick dip at the beach or a walk along the beach. A place to relax outside the door and listen to the ocean.
The place was nice, the view beautiful and location was also good. The only reason why it’s not a perfect score is because a little air conditioning would have been nice at times. Also the sliding glass door was hard to slide and the screen door was corroded. But, overall we really enjoyed our time and would stay there again! Thank you

Great location with a excellent ocean view. Also accommodations was spot on with easy check in and out. All the required beach gear was well stocked so no fuss. It’s my first choice for Kauai

Pleasant Stay
We had a really nice stay at this condo. The grounds are beautiful, the condo well equipped, and the condo is surrounded by a park which has a nice swimming area for the kids. I didn’t realize the condo does not have air conditioning when I booked it, and the first day was somewhat rough for me since I run hot, but my body adjusted and I ended up enjoying all the fresh air flowing through the condo. The condo did provide an extra fan to help with this. The location is also close to some good places to eat, such as Kountry Kitchen for breakfast, or Lava Lava for dinner. If I was returning to Kauai in the future, I’d happily stay here again.

Short walk through a field of chickens and cats to the beach! We loved the wildlife, and the place was perfect. House stayed surprisingly cool at night without AC. Would book again.

Quiet and beautiful location. Close to Lydgate park for beginner snorkeling. Centrally located to be about to go to the poipu or princeville areas. Highly recommend!
