the condo was absolutely wonderful, fantastic views and great overall condition. we saw lots of whales from the bedroom and dining table while eating. definitely want to come back!

Kapalua is the best location on Maui and this unit is just about in the perfect spot at Kapalua. Short walk to a great beach for boogie boarding, and a short shuttle ride to Kapalua Bay Beach for snorkeling. Quiet area with a nice pool. The condo is extremely well appointed with excellent washer dryer (not always the case!) and nice kitchen. Rooms are large and beds are comfy. Absolutely top notch across the board.

A+ all around from location to cleanliness to the views. Check in and communication was perfect. We highly recommend this property if in Maui and you want to the in the Kapalua area

The villas are a great location, and only a short walk to Kapalua Bay, as well as short drives to Lahaina, Kaanapali Bay, Honolua, and the blow hole. The villa was clean, spacious, and the management very responsive.

This location was perfect. The views of the ocean are priceless from both floors. The place was nicely sized for my family of 5. Our ten year old daughter slept on the pull out couch in the master bedroom while our teenage boys shared the second bedroom with two beds. Plenty of bathrooms with showers.

Access to beach was simple. Oneloa beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. Private, clean sand, crystal clear water, and great waves to play in! Took us a couple days to find the Honolua market near the Ritz. Once we did, we were there daily for snacks, lunch to go, or breakfast. Snorkeling at the nearby Kapalua beach was fantastic. And, we even cliff jumped by the cliff house which was easily found down the path near the beach.

Everything you would hope it would be. The views are priceless, the house fantatstic. Short walk to the beach in front and multiple other beaches. Away from the busy tourist district of Lahaina but a short 10 minute drive if you're looking for more action. Perfect stay and will return!

Excellent location with a million dollar view

My wife and two sons (13, 15) stayed here in August 2021. The views from this condo are spectacular, refreshing and omni-present...you don't want to spend a lot of time indoors on a Hawaii vacation, but if you do, this place feels like you are living in a postcard. We had plenty of space and its comfortable. We walked once or twice a day to Kapalua Bay to snorkel with the turtles and to Oneloa bay to play in the waves and hiked on the rocks nearby. Merrimans was an easy walk, as was the Honolua store for groceries. Front Street, Whalers village and Acid WarZone Trail are quick drives. We took several trips to other parts of the Island to snorkel, dine, hike but, in retrospect, could have stayed in Kapalua the whole time as its perfect. We would absolutely stay in Bay Villas and this condo again.

All 3 sodas were pull out beds. The only thing I would update is the upstairs shower handle looked pretty gross like mold. The ac upstairs does not work, but they did provide a small unit which did the trick. The first day was very hot so they should get someone in to turn the air down before guests arrive. Some of the cooking utensils could use replacing. Like spatulas. We would have also liked some cleaners for the glass table and a broom and dust pan to clean the floors. Other than that nothing to complain about. Great panoramic views. Thank you again for the upgrade. We will be back.

We loved our time in Maui and this condo was perfect for our family. The views are absolutely astounding! The walk down to the beach was easy and having beach chairs and towels was so convenient. Kapalua is such a nice area.

Really nice place. The 11:00 checkout was an hour too early and the 3:00 check in was an hour too late. Understand you need to clean the units but a little flexibility would have made the experience much better. Thanks.

We have rented this unit for the last two years. It is in beautiful condition with a view that photographs do not overestimate. We had a couple of very small issues which Jake dealt with in a very professional manner. With maintenance fees that are probably quite high I felt the owners were not receiveng full value for money. Very minor points but as an owner I would be crirical of the maintenance company. Very small examples:
the stairway carpet is not very clean. The dooe to the bedroom balcony has been in need of repair for as long as we have been there. Very minor worries in an otherwise wonderful unit.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this unit for the second time. We have travelled to Maui almost every year for over twenty years and this property management company was excellent. We had a couple of really minor issues and they took care of it quickly and efficiently. The unit was in great shape with just the right bed setup for our 5 person family. We enjoyed whale watching right off the lanai or from inside. Close proximity to the pool and the beach was a must for us and this fit the bill. Thank you to the owners for letting us stay in their wonderful condominium!!

This is a beautiful condo. We stayed here last year as well. We love the panoramic view of the ocean. The place is well maintained. It’s beautifully furnished, and has a very nice kitchen. It is definitely one of our favorites! If there was any negative comment, it was my wife who had an issue with the king bed which is quite noisy when you get in and out of it. Probably should be replaced.

We stayed in this unit on a recent trip to Maui. The unit was kind of clean but dated. By that I mean all the furniture is old and not very clean. The area rug pictured in the living room photo was very dirty. The master bedroom upstairs is open to the lower level because it\'s a loft. So there is NO privacy. All sounds will be heard in the lower living area. The spiral stairs leading to the upper level are very narrow and the carpeting is dirty. The upstairs master bed cracks... LOUDLY! It was such an annoyance every time we got in and out of bed. The door that leads to the upstairs balcony was rotted and water came through it when it rained. The unit actually has no usable balcony. It\'s very narrow and there\'s barely room for a chair. So cancel any plans you have of sitting on the balcony and enjoying the view. On another note, all the baths / showers are great! That being said, I personally would not book this unit again. We got it because it was one of a few remaining during whale watching season. We’ve booked several times with Aloha Vacation rentals. This one was disappointing.

Amazing location 15 minute walk from snorkeling in Kapalua and 15 minute walk from great waves on DT Fleming beach. The condo is very well appointed and set for a family of four. The property is very clean, well maintained, and beds comfy. I would suggest to the owners to upgrade the couches as they are tired. The condo came with beach towels and two very nice beach chairs (2 need to be replaced). One suggestion would be to have two boogie boards for guests use on their visit. Overall a great condo.

Fantastic stay, exceeded my expectation. Well appointed in every way. I did want to leave the condo. Near pool, beach, trash disposal were all near. Parking easy. I have only one recommendation as an addition to this unit. This would be to add a bidet to each bathroom. Everything about this unit is excellent. Would and plan to stay again. You can't go wrong with this unit. Fantastic!

This is a very nice condo. The description of the views was very accurate. Panoramic ocean views from the common areas and even better from the master loft. The master has a nice size patio with chairs, a little table, and awesome views. There is a pretty narrow wrap-around lanai on the lower level but you will probably not spend much time out there other than to take a picture. The unit has a lot of space overall and a ton of sleeping accommodations. There is a king in the master, 2 queens in downstairs BR, and additionally 3 queen sleeper sofas. Three three-quarter bathrooms is hard to beat in a property this size. The showers were spacious and nicely appointed. There was adequate kitchenware.The washer and dryer are small so it takes several loads to do the beach towels, etc. There were some ants but that is Hawaii. We took out the trash nightly and treated the entry points with the supplied Raid and it was no big deal. The nearest pool is nice and has great ocean views, but it was closed for maintenance during our week. However, the complex has other pools that are still close. The Kapalua Bay beach is nice but it was always very windy to the point that a beach umbrella was unusable. The blowing sand actually stung and blew into ears, eyes, noses, etc. This is not the fault of the property, it is a very beautiful area. Just be aware. Geographically, the property is about a 15 minute drive to Kaanapali Beach. There is a full size grocery 5 minutes away in the Napili plaza, open until 11 pm. There are not a lot of restaurants close but again, there are more in Kaanapali. Overall, I was very happy with this unit and would certainly consider coming back again if we are able.

We have stayed in Kapalua many times and always have a spectacular time. This location is great for proximity to the beaches, pool, store and local restaurants. The shuttle is great, although we prefer walking. There is an air conditioner and the front area of the house is cools easily however the master seems to be a bit warmer. There is a nice oscillating fan in the bedroom which moved the air nicely, the room just never cooled down to the same degree that the rest of the house did. Ice Maker and plenty of dishes and glasses. We picked up ziploc bags and foil to use during out stay. Would happily come back to this unit again.

It is a wonderful vacation house for a large family staying in Kapalua area. Except a small issue with the toilet flush valve in the guest bathroom and some noise with the master bed, the condo is in near perfect condition. The owner is very responsive to inquiry over both phone calls and emails. The semi-private beach is easily accessible and is not crowded at all. The nesting ground of the wedge-tailed Shearwaters (sea bird) is a wonderful place for kids to visit after 9PM and the sound of the bird is quite mysterious like a human baby. The famous Bay Course can be easily booked with some discounts. We hope we can stay in the same house when we come back to Maui in a few years!

During our vacation to Maui we stayed in here and in a 5 star resort on Ka'anapali. We unanimously voted this rental better than the 5 star resort. If you want crowded pools and beaches, over priced food, and noise, stay at the resort. If you want a relaxed vacation to enjoy the fantastic views and relax on the beach, stay here

Aloha Vacation Villas were extremely helpful throughout this experience, from the moment of enquiry to our final departure from this beautiful unit. The only reason I would have difficulty in recommending this unit is that I would only like my close friends to know of it's existence. I will certainly try to book it year after year, I have already booked for 2020. Although the weather was not at the usual Hawaii best we were very happy to sit inside and appreciate the panoramic views, whales abounded some very close to shore. Both shopping and dining facilities are very convenient and of a high standard.

We had a wonderful stay, however the handheld shower in the upstairs bathroom appeared to be covered with black mold (?), so we didn't use it. The upstairs bedroom had a make-shift air conditioner, which made it difficult to open windows along bottom of windows, as it got warm upstairs. Since the weather was windy and rainy, we didn't need the AC, just needed to open a window for circulation. Other than that, we would recommend this lovely place to our friends and family

This was a very nice property with beautiful views of the oceans from every window. The villa was clean and well stocked. Good location close to the pool and a easy walk to the beach. The only thing missing is a nice patio to sit outside and and enjoy the wonderful weather. The small walkway with a single chair did not allow us to enjoy the outside.

The Villa was immaculate and the views were amazing. Plenty of room for 5 of us. Everything was provided for us in the kitchen and bathrooms. We would love to return here on our next vacation. Vicky in the Aloha Vacation Villas office was a tremendous help and always available. She is delightful to work with.

This was my second time renting this villa and it was just as perfect as my first. I was traveling with my husband and two teenage children. The villa was lean and was true to the photos. It is well managed.

The Villa was clean, and presentable on arrival. Great 1st floor layout for kitchen & dining all with views. The bedroom was a great 2nd bedroom with a large bathroom. Wish the beds were able to be used as one King for a married couple. Powder room with shower was perfect for our 18 yr. old son. TV area and sitting areas were perfect. The 2nd floor is LOFT style so it is hard to be private when you want to be, especially when you have "sleepers" on the sofa downstairs. Large bathroom and walk-in shower, 2 sinks and a lot of storage space. Good closet and furniture to place your clothes in both bedrooms. Kitchen has newer appliances(large frig). Need oven potholders(2), since we did have to "cook-in" during the Hurricane. Breeze on Lanai off kitchen is nice, but the slider door is on the side and no breeze. So AC was left on all the time. We love Kapalua and the villa was really perfect for this trip and family. The views are amazing, especially from the 2nd floor lanai. Hope to be back again soon.

Easy, painless and everyone was friendly and responsive

My family and I have been to Hawaii several times. We typically stay at a resort, but this time we wanted to have more space and be able to cook some meals for ourselves. We researched a lot of properties and found Kapalua Bay Villas. The villa and property seemed just what we were looking for! We arrived on an overcast night so it was hard to see how the villa was positioned. As soon as we woke up in the morning you could hear excitement throughout the whole place... the view was spectacular!! The Villa is not ocean front, but we thought the view was better since you were higher up and also were surrounded by palm trees as you looked out to the ocean. You can see the island of Molokai which you cannot see from all villas. The villa was super clean when we arrived! The furniture, fixtures, appliances and décor were updated and in great condition. The bathrooms were spacious and beautiful! The kitchen was great and contained most of necessary items. Note: it would be nice if a list of items was available prior to arrival. The dining room is positioned in front of a wall of windows that overlooked the ocean. There was a narrow lanai that we could relax on. One thing to clarify is that the upstairs bedroom is not private and is open to the stairway and sitting area. We did have a guest sleep on the sofa sleeper upstairs. There was a spectacular lanai off the bedroom that has the best views. The villa is a short walk to the beach which was nice. There was also a pool very close that had a grilling area that we used several times. The unit did have beach chairs, which were in bad shape. Beach towels were provided which was a nice convenience. There was even some basic snorkel gear and some beach toys if you have kids. We spoke to other renters as we walked about the property and even saw some additional units. This villa is by far one of the best on the property and exceeded our expectations! We would certainly rent it again and highl

Terrific experience with the Kapalua Bay Villas on Maui. The unit was fantastic, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and clean. Location is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, golf, dinner, etc.

The Kapalua condo 17B2 was everything described in the initial description. It couldn't have been more perfect for our family of 5. The upstairs remodeled suite gave necessary privacy for the teenagers and we oldsters didn't have to up n down it on the spiral staircase. Downstairs space was huge and 3 lanais was most special! Views were hypnotic as were the sounds of the ocean. I would return to this exact unit.......but walk to the beach was a bit exhausting for my husband.....kind of taxing on the ol' lungs. Other than that is all was fabulous!

This villa is spectacular in every way! The decor, layout and view are all fabulous! Lots of room for 4, lots of nice amenities. Beach towels were provided. The only thing the could use improvement was the beach chairs - only 3 and 2 were pretty beat up. Aloha Villas was very easy to work with. We had one very minor maintenance issue (running toilet) which was fixed within an hour of our call - while we were at the beach. I would be cautious about renting in the bay villas if you have anyone with mobility issues. It is hilly and there is a steep walk to the beach down numerous stairways.

Gorgeous stay! The place looks just as beautiful in person as the pictures. Spacious, we had two families; four adults and 4 kids. The two bedrooms have views of the ocean. The best was the short walk to a wave beach and surf as well as Kapalua Bay Beach with the best snorkeling on the island. Bring your own snorkeling gear and beach chairs, the chairs in the condo are in sad shape. I was impressed with the Weber gas bbq's at the pool area. We enjoyed this place very much and would recommend it.

We have stayed at this particular condo 4-5 times. We like the condo--and think that working with Aloha Vacation Villas is a positive. They are competent and friendly. When we have had suggestions re anything that might improve the condo stay, they listen--Most of the time there are no suggestions as they have thought of everything. We feel that it is an especially good value--The condo is well equipped and in a perfect location for us. Thanks again, Jake and team for a great stay!

We've stayed at this villa for our family vacation two years in a row. We loved the condition and location of this particular property. Our stay was wonderful: The unit was comfortable and in good condition. The pools and beaches were easily accessible. The management company was helpful. Markets and restaurants were close by. We'd definitely consider going back again.

Great location and view overlooking Kapalua Bay. The unit was exactly as depicted in the online photos. The management company was professional and the reservation process was seamless. We found the unit to be well supplied with kitchen, BBQ, and beach gear. Requests for minor supplies were made in a timely manner. We did, however, find the property to be very dirty. There was a layer of dust everywhere (such as over master/second bedside tables/dressers) and the green master bedspread was stained (don't know if this is ever laundered). The wood headboard had handprints alls over it. The bathroom towels were old and thread borne and housekeeping came only once doing our almost two weeks stay to change the sheets/towels. We expected that, for the price which amounted to double the cost of our travel companion's unit, the condo would have been cleaner and housekeeping service would have come more than once over our 13 day stay.

We have stayed in the Bay Villas 4 times for a total of 2 months. We have stayed in some nice units, but nothing compares to this unit. The unit is very spacious with all top end furniture, appliances etc. The showers are beautiful and spacious. The Views cannot be beat. The unit was very clean. Kapalua is the best place to stay on the island This is the place that you want to stay at. Vicky is a pleasure to work with, and addressed all of our questions and needs. You will not be sorry

It was a wonderful condo with the space and amenities that we needed. The location was perfect for us since we were attending a conference at the Ritz Carlton, which was a short walk and drive away. Everything we needed was provided like paper towels, dishwasher and laundry detergent. We could walk over to Kapalua Bay and it was a short drive to other calmer beaches perfect for our children. The Napili Market was also close by to pick up groceries and supplies. We didn't have any issues that would require a call to the property manager. We would definitely stay at this condo again!

This rental provided ample space for our family of 5 (two kids and a mother in-law). Beautiful views of the ocean, within a quiet gated community. The only issue we had was with the air conditioning unit on the lower floor that started acting up mid-way through the week. Jake, the property manager promptly replied to my text regarding this issue and sent someone to check out the problem. Great location within walking distance from my conference at the Ritz and numerous beaches a short drive away. Access to the beach from the complex is present, but we came across ant colonies during that venture, and therefore with the kids, drove elsewhere.

We are returning guests at this wonderful villa. We were here back in 2014 and again in 2016.  We would love to be back again in 2018! Rental process was very easy and stress free. The property managers, Vicky & Jake, are prompt, professional and easy to work with. We absolutely love Maui and these villas at Kapalua Bay. You get the best of both worlds, well appointed accommodations with impeccable scenery of beautifully manicured landscapes paired up with incredible ocean views. It does not get any better than that, for us having 5 times the space compared to a hotel room and the commodity of multiple bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen is invaluable and a must when traveling with little children. Villa has two nice sized en-suite masters bedrooms. The one on the first floor has two double beds, while the one upstairs has a king and a sleeper (loft bedroom). The loft has no doors hence no privacy but incredible panoramic views. Living room is big and also has extra sofa sleepers with a full bathroom w/shower. You will love getting up to the sunrise every morning, which led us to have breakfast in the unit daily while enjoying the magnificent views. We mostly cooked breakfast meals in the villa and/or grabbed ready-made meals at the Honolua Market (5min drive). In fact, we used this market quite a few times during our vacation, from breakfast meals, snacks, and lunch picnics to take to the beach and excursions around the island. We mostly dined out while trying many different restaurants in the surrounding areas. You do not have to use the kitchen if you don't like to cook while on vacation, simply go out and enjoy the night : ) Don’t forget to make reservations at the Old Lahaina Luau. They offer excellent food and a wonderful Hawaiian show on Maui, highly recommended. We like the Old Lahaina Luau better than Feast at Lele, but this is just our opinion. : ) both good though. There are many excellent beaches around the villas but the closest one is just 5min walking from the unit, and others just a short drive. You will pass the pool while walking down to the beach; pools have BBQ grilles and tables for guests. The villa has everything you need, also pack light and take advantage of the washer/dryer. Beach towels, boogie boards and chairs are also available for the guests. Don't skip Nalipi Bay and Kapalau Bay Beach, both great for swimming and snorkeling! Parking was always available right in front of the unit. We felt very safe too.

Bay Villas are situated in one of the most serene and beautiful parts of Maui. Our 180degree view of the ocean was incredible mesmerizing all of us every day. Very comfortable and clean. Luxury unit with great access to a wonderful beach. (Went to 5 beaches throughout Maui throughout the week - this beach was one of the best).

We rented this unit for a family vacation with our two children. The views were spectacular - perfect for watching the crashing waves, surfers and whales. The location is convenient for the beach and several pools. Lots of places to explore on foot. And, easy driving to get to other venues on Maui. Many places to shop and eat close by. The accommodation was clean and comfortable both inside and out. The service was spectacular when we called about an internet connection issue. We would highly recommend and return to this bay villa.

I did not receive the follow-up email with the code to get in. I was able to talk with Jake and he gave me a code. We tried talking to him a couple of times at some point he no longer picked up the phone.

Million Dollar views from many rooms - condo in awesome condition - Can't wait for a chance to visit again. Staff very responsive when needed. Pool and beach are convenient; grill was great at the pool. Loved the ocean breezes with open windows.

Beautiful view lots of room. However we booked 3 condos for this trip for a large group, this one was not very clean. The sheets in the second bedroom had not been changed since there was sand in one of them. Had to call for clean sheets. Also had to call for more paper towels. Very minimal kitchen utensils, need to add more. Would suggest a thorough cleaning of this unit.

With beautiful ocean views from almost all windows and lanais, the location and two storey layout is truly outstanding. Kapalua guests enjoy a broad range of benefits including a decent shuttle to beaches, the golf courses, Merrimen's or Sensei restaurants and the Ritz Carleton), multiple swimming pools, easy access to multiple beaches and beachfront trails. Unit was recently renovated to a high standard (see the pictures) and was well tested during our stay due to three hurricane near misses. Internet speed was poor and absolutely inadequate for our purposes. We worked hard with the very responsive local management who we believe did their very best within budget constraints imposed by unit owner. Otherwise our issues were relatively small. Almost all sofas look good but are not comfortable and the dishwasher start button was defective and needs to be replaced so machine did not always start. Annoying when rushing out to beaches.

Overall this condo delivers on everything you could ask for in an ocean view condo in Maui. The decor is great, the view is amazing and the location is perfect. Everything you see in the pictures is exactly what you get. We had a few "maintenance" issues on the first night but they were all resolved the next day after a few texts with Jake. The only thing I would make note of for a future renter would be the following...we traveled with our 1 year old daughter and this condo was not exactly "child proof". None of this falls on the owners/management, we just failed to pay close enough attention when reviewing the pictures. If we were do this again with a similar aged child we would look at one of the units in the Bay Villas that are on 1 level. With all of that said, we loved our stay and could not be happier!

We had a wonderful experience in this beautiful condo! We stayed with 2 families...4 adults and 2 kids, and the accommodations were ideal for this group. We loved the view from this unit...we enjoyed having our breakfast and evening cocktails with the amazing view in the background! The convenience in location to the pool and the beach was ideal with the kids and the Kapalua shuttle service is a bonus to access any locations within Kapalua..including the Kapalua Bay Beach as well. We have stayed in Maui many times and this condo was the best location we have stayed...highly recommend and will definitely be back!!

Our experience in Maui and with this rental was absolutely amazing. The views are to die for. There is lots of space as well which is always nice on a vacation. If you're a golfer, the golf course is right across the street. There is also amazing snorkeling at the beach right out front. I would definitely recommend this unit!

We had a wonderful vacation and the condo was no exception. We had 2 families- 4 adults and 4 kids. It was a perfect size for us. Master bedroom was gorgeous. The pictures don\'t do it justice, it was beautiful. They were performing maintenance on the building which was a bit annoying at times, but we were made aware of it before hand. The pool is nice, but we couldn\'t believe there wasn\'t a hot tub on the property anywhere. The beach was a five minute walk. We didn\'t use the shuttle since we had a car. I would absolutely stay here again and will recommend it to anyone!

When we arrived we found we had no telephone service. Therefore we were unable to use the shuttle service or have any contact with our family. We finally found the owners office and they called for help from Jake, who sent Lonnie over with a cell phone.The cell phone never did work. Lonnie tried everything but it was dead. Cleaning people did not clean or change linen.Beds downstairs very high, must stand on something to get in or out of bed. When I folded down the satin cover, it was full of stains on the inside. disgusting.

We have a wonderful time, this was our first time in Hawaii my husband has always dreamed of going to Hawaii and for his 60th birthday I surprised him with a trip. Our son and his wife came as well the condo was beautiful and even nicer than the pictures. Each morning I sat by the window having my coffee with a view of the ocean with whales swimming and jumping. You could make the holiday what you wanted it to be it could be as busy as you want or lazy. We traveled the whole island, went whale watching, and watched the sun rise And after a busy day to come back and relax in comfort, It was a wonderful holiday and we will be back

Condo exceeded our expectations, and all staff from Aloha were incredibly helpful, with special mention to Vicky, who helped us arranging a 3 day extension of our stay. We made the booking at the last minute, and there were just 2 of us--but the space is huge and can comfortably accommodate at least 2 more, as there are two bedrooms. Just a five minute walk to the beach, and you hear the waves as you go to sleep.

The Condo is beautiful and location great. Vicky with the rental company was a joy to work with. The photos on the website are very accurate. We and a great stay and there are mostly positives so I will only focus on a few items that disappointed and someone might want to be aware of if renting. We had originally booked with another couple, but they had to cancel last minute due to a medical issue. Although we were told the upstairs loft bedroom had been enclosed, we discovered when we arrived that it is NOT. Be aware that the upstairs master bedroom is an open loft and although you can't see upstairs from downstairs, you can hear EVERYTHING from downstairs and visa/versa. Probably best for a family or VERY close friends, but not suitable for two couples who want privacy. We would have been very disappointed sharing it with our friends with the lack of privacy. There are a couple of minor maintenance issues that need tending to. Many of the low louvered windows are non-operational and the toilet seats are loose. Three lovely bathrooms, but all showers. Would have been nice to have one bathtub. The kitchen is adequately stocked for basic cooking, but not for someone who is a foodie and really enjoys cooking. Would be nice if the complex had a Jacuzzi and also wish the pools were open later than 8 p.m. (for quiet adults). We discovered that the beach below the property has ants everywhere so be aware of that if you put your things (or your butt...haha) on the sand. There beach towels, 3 beach chairs, two umbrellas, some boogie boards in the unit. Kapalua and Napili beaches are very close by and wonderful beaches. We really enjoyed the free shuttle. Other than the minor complaints above, the unit is BEATIFUL and we enjoyed our stay. The views from the unit are gorgeous! Oh, the on-site market (Honolua Market on Office Rd) is GREAT, like an upscale ABC store and has everything you might need including wonderful prepared food.

Our family has stayed at the Bay Villas for more than 20 years. We love all the units that we have stayed in through Aloha Vacation Villas; this unit was no exception. The management team is spot on and ever present in its attention to detail. While the ground floor units open onto expansive grounds, this Bridge level unit has a narrow main level lanai that allows for placement of chairs that give a visitor a chance to experience the outdoor surroundings and view. The open air loft upstairs is not separated by walls or doors from downstairs, so my husband and I could hear all that was going on downstairs with the grandparents without being too intrusive! It worked out very well for our close knit family! We hope to return soon! Jake, Vicky and the rest of the management team is great.

We stayed at Kapalua Bay Villas for two weeks and we were extremely happy with the condo we rented. The view was breathtaking; the maintenance and up keep on the landscaping is amazing; and the condo was beautiful. Small issue with ants but nothing out of the ordinary in Hawaii.

We had a little trepidation regarding this rental due to some mixed reviews we had seen. Clearly all of these issues had been well resolved. We found our condo big, clean, comfortable, well equipped and nicely located. An added bonus was the service provided by the on-island concierge, Maria at Maui Vacation Adventures. Maria connected us with all the local activities we were interested in and saved us a lot of work in doing so. It was all great!

A very beautiful unit in a wonderful location.

This condo has been very nicely updated and has great views. Unfortunately, there is an ant problem in the upstairs bath they are having trouble eliminating although they are working on it. As another review pointed out, the A/C supply in the downstairs bedroom isn't sufficient despite there being a new unit. Otherwise, this rental unit was perfect.

Overall, the experience was excellent. The only suggestion is that we have is that for a 13-day rental, our stay could have been improved by more than one cleaning halfway through. I suggest adding an additional cleaning when satying for 2 weeks.

We've stayed at the Bay Villas several times and it is always a hit and miss when it comes to the actual property considering each is separately owned but managed by one of the several companies in the area, if available for rental.

This particular property is beautiful inside and offers stunning views, as do many of the Bay Villas. Seriously, claiming 600K in recent upgrades strikes me as a severe exaggeration... However, the property is nicely done.

This property has a serious ant problem.... confirmed by the multiple ant traps all over the place, including inside the drawers in the bedroom. I made the mistake of leaving an after dinner mint wrapper on the nightstand - only to wake up with thousands of ants all over the place.

The downstairs air conditioning is either on or off, regardless of what temperature you set it at it just keeps cooling until you turn it off. I had it set to 75 but it was freezing cold no matter what you set it at. The downstairs bedroom has only one small A/C vent that does not really work well... while the rest of the downstairs is freezing, the bedroom is hot.

We stayed a week and there is no housekeeping. They do come to change the linens once and only once. When I asked the Vicky about housekeeping she noted that there was a vacuum in the closet???

Bring shampoo, conditioner, and lotion as there is only one tiny 1.5 oz bottle of each for each shower to share for one week!!!

And finally... if Internet access is important to you - pick a different place. This was the worst Internet access ever. It was slightly better than dial up and the wireless access point is upstairs in the master bedroom making the availability to the lower bedroom too weak to maintain a constant connection. I'm a computer guy and know about this stuff. I tried everything, resetting the modem, resetting the wireless access point... finally calling for help to find out that the owner subscribes to the cheapest low end plan available so the speed sucks and no matter what you try to do it won't get better. That issue along with the position of the wireless access point makes for a very frustrating experience in paradise. As an example, we downloaded a 1 hr 47 min movie from ITunes for the return flight and what would take 3 minutes to download at home took just under 6 hours.

If having Internet access is it an issue for you - this is your place.

This condo was perfect for our two families to share,with plenty of room to spread out. The upgrading of the entire unit was just beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need and the beach supplies were a great help. The view wasn't as wonderful as some of the front units but still the blue water and palm trees were definately a Maui view to enjoy.

This property is outstanding. Perfect for two families. View is good and the accommodations were first class.

The villa has spectacular views from both the main floor, and in particular, from the top floor. We had read that Kapalua can be quite windy this time of year, and during our stay was no exception, so unfortunately it was impossible to enjoy the outdoor lanais. Fortunately the open floor plan allows you to see out from virtually anywhere inside the villa. We spotted countless whales playing in the water from inside, which was amazing. The location to Kapalua bay (our favorite beach on Maui) is ideal - a 10 min walk or a quick shuttle ride. The beach is well sheltered on both sides to protect from the winds. The kitchen is very well stocked in terms of plates, pots/pans, glasses, and the oven worked quite well. This was helpful as the bbq at the nearest pool wouldn't heat up (for us and we confirmed with many others) so it was impossible to grill. We were a bit disappointed regarding the cleanliness of the unit; in particular the floors. We have a crawler, so perhaps we are more concerned with this than others might be. We noticed that the bottoms of our white socks were black after walking around for only a short time, so I ended up having to scrub the floors and was shocked at how black the water was. The rental company advertised a mid-stay cleaning if we rented for a week or more, but were disappointed to find out that this only included a change of sheets and towels. Everything else seemed clean enough though. The unit came well stocked also in terms of beack chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, etc., which was helpful. We would definitely recommend the villa for the views and the location.

Renting through Aloha and staying in the Bay Villas in Kapaula provided our family of four the Maui experience that simply is no longer available in this beautiful however very developed island. The property was located with an incredible view, a very short walk to the beaches and hotel amenities and of the highest quality.

This was a fantastic place to stay. The furnishings were very nice and the view was unbelievable. One suggestion would be to supply a TV channel cheat sheet. The only snag we ran into, was that we locked ourself out the first night on the 2nd story lanai. This was after 7PM, so our call to the concierge rolled to voicemail. Luckily, we were able to yell to a neighbor to let us out, thank god for keyless entry!

Master bed mattress was on the soft side but all other furniture was good. Views magnificent. Furnishings and appliances of high quality. Location convenient for beach and golf clubhouse.

We stayed in villa 17B-2 while attending a wedding on Maui. Our party rented about 5 units in total, so we had the opportunity to see other units as well. Unit 17B-2 was gorgeous and by far the nicest that our group rented. Beautiful upgraded decor, spacious, comfortable beds, etc. The kitchen had every appliance we needed from a blender, rice cooker, garlic press, etc. We were very pleased.

Rooms were beautifully furnished,alot of room for guest to sleep.Bathrooms were gorgeous convient walk in showers.The view was picturesque could'nt get enough of it.Overall it exceeded our expectations. Looking forward for another stay"Thanks Jake."

We love the location of this property complex and the amenities offered so close. They have a beautiful spa and offer fitness classes everyday. The property management people were easy to work with however both times we\'ve stayed there has been something not working. Last time the dishwasher didn\'t work for half our stay this time the air conditioner upstairs was broke the entire time plus there was an ant problem. They did bring us a portable unit so we appreciated that. It was just the general inconvenience both times.

All the people we dealt with we\'re great especially Victoria and Ryan. We rented 2 different units and both had major appliances that did not work. The dishwasher in our unit didn\'t work for the first 3 days of our trip and the dryer in our parents unit didnt work at all! Overall we had a great time and would go back to Kapalua.

This condo was absolutely gorgeous and had pretty much everything we could possibly need. The view was incredible. The general location felt secluded. It was nice being able to use the Ritz facilities. It was extremely windy, and cloudy a lot of the time when we were there (but would be sunny if we drove down to Lahaina) - some locals told me it is like that most of the time in Kapalua. That would be the only reason I would not return to this condo.

Hate spiral staircase. No solid doors on ground floor or between floors, so noise travels throughout unit. Not told of nearby noisy construction, even though I had asked about this. I must say, however, the overall experience provided by the unit itself and its location easily trumped these complaints.

These Kapalua Villas are spectacular - perched above a sandy beach offering 180 degree views out across the ocean. Due to conflicts with our flights and because we were late to book, we only stayed in this villa for 1 night before moving to another villa - 20G - that we stayed in for the rest of our trip. Vicky and Jake from Aloha Vacation Villas were extremely easy to work with, very accessible and clearly know these properties intimately as well as Maui. We were able to organize everything we wanted to do before we got there (zipline, swim with Turtles, golf, dinner, parasail) - everything worked out superbly. This particular villa 17B2 is on two levels - the upper level master suite is just amazing with it's own balcony and stunning views across the ocean. The quality and standard of the property is better than our own home. Just bring clothes, everything else is provided. We're coming back - and soon. This is how paradise was meant to be.

Very responsive and professional property management, and a great place to relax among the fantastic Kaplua amenities. Don't miss this slice of paradise!

The view was better than expected; however, there are a few negatives about this unit. Because of the design of the remodeled living room area, you are unable to enjoy the lanai space to its fullest; there are no crosscurrent breezes, creating a stuffy interior. The washer and dryer are terribly undersized; using them makes you cringe because both use excessive energy so unnecessarily.

This is a stunning property overlooking Kapalua beach, tastefully decorated. Reservation staff very available to deal with problems/questions. Only downsides are that master suite has no door so privacy a bit problematic. Also, since not booked through Outrigger you don't get the full set of services/amenities available in Kapalua resort/spa without paying a lot for them.

The unit was nicer than expected. It was spotless and well appointed. View was expansive. Do be aware that upstairs bedroom is open to noise from living room. could be a problem if one goes to bed while other stays up late to watch TV. Also, stairwell to upper bedroom fairly steep. Would we rent it again? We already have!!

We have stayed in the Bay Villas for many years. This was our best overall experience. Great location, view and decor. The condition of the unit was impeccable. The property manager and his staff were outstanding. Could not have asked for more.
