This newly remodeled co do has top notch appliances and the future is beautiful. The king size bed was comfortable too. The shower could be a challenge for some as you have to step down 18+ inches. Otherwise would not hesitate to stay again.

Property had really good views. It felt secluded, safe and clean. Access to the beach was easy and not crowded because public access was very difficult. Very close to resorts with great bars, pools etc. you get discounts for other property items like golf at kapalua.

Perched above it all, the privacy is terrific. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. A favorite and will be back.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this rental. It was very well kept, and had no issues at any point in the process. Views live up to the pictures.

We just completed our second trip at this location (mid-January). The location is somewhat remote and the site is very hilly, but the views are fantastic. The location is central to all north Maui has to offer in outdoor adventure, golf, and dining options within a 10-30 minute drive. From our deck, we watched several pods of whales each morning.

It would have been nice to have a few baggies, and maybe a small olive oil.

The tub is extremely large and uncomfortable ( rocky) but the shower makes up for it.

Yes it's a peek-a-boo view with sights and sounds of surf and, above ocean front units, you can see a 180 degree view of the ocean. Access to the pools is hampered by stairs for me and my walker. Please clean or replace 4 small rugs. Otherwise our stay was excellent. Manager Jake is top notch!

I would highly recommend this home for your next vacation. Everything from the location to the beach and the views from the home was perfect.

The view, proximity to the beach, property layout are awesome! We loved the deck, the amazing view of the ocean and the sound of the waves. This is an amazing location. We also loved the easy parking, quiet neighborhood, and fast internet. Verizon cell coverage worked great in this area, but Tmobile did not work.

We had a wonderful stay at 17B4. This unit checked all the boxes for what we wanted: clean, beautifully appointed, quiet and comfortable. The view was amazing. Loved the short walk to the bay, and accessibility to nearby restaurants.

We were immediately wowed by the view as we opened the front door. The decor and furniture were lovely and the finishes upgraded. We would have given the property 5 stars, but upon arrival we were informed by maintenance that A/C was out and would set up a portable cooler in bedroom and would have a technician in the next day to repair. The next day after being out for the day, we arrived to the technician leaving and maintenance informing us that the AC unit had seized and could not be repaired during our stay. We were told to contact property mgmt about possibly moving to another villa. I immediately reached out to them and was told they could offer a “like” villa but had to make a quick decision as they were leaving soon and had to make sure housekeeping was aware before they left. She sent us the link to look at the option. Our villa was an Ocean View Gold and the option was just Ocean View. The property did not compare. Lower quality finishes, less attractive furnishings and decor and what we considered a less desirable location. We chose not to accept because we felt that it did not match the value of what we paid for and expected. We then were given the option to upgrade to an Ocean Front villa for over $800 more, (we had already stayed one night at our current villa). We were not prepared to pay that much more for our vacation and couldn’t consider that option. We were told that’s all they had to offer, so were told they could set up one more portable in living room the next day. We did agree to do that, however the villa is quite large and 2 coolers that size can only cool off approx. 250-300 sq ft each, leaving parts of the villa very warm. (Taking a shower and trying to get ready in the bathroom was quite uncomfortable). The coolers had to run day and night because of the temperature, near 90 and high humidity, unfortunately the ambiance of the beautiful location and view, as well as the sound of the waves was ruined by the constant loud blowing of the cooler. Upon returning home, I contacted VRBO asking if they could request some credit from the owner for the unfortunate inconvenience. We are vacation rental owners ourselves and know it is sometimes necessary to make things right with guests when they are inconvenienced for some reason. We were informed by property mgr that the owner was not willing to accommodate us because they provided us with alternate cooling. If owner had a change of heart, we would gladly upgrade our review.

This property is an outstanding, upscale condo. My wife and I had an amazing time staying there. I believe the condo had recently been renovated and they hit it out of the park. It is located in a very high end area of Maui with gated communities and a few minutes walk to the beach, Golf, restaurants. It is also only 20 minutes or so to the Whalers Village and Lahaina. We had only one small mishap with a leaking Washer that the Property manager/Maintenance took care of amazingly fast. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a beautiful, quiet stay on Maui anytime.

We had a delightful stay. The unit is very well furnished and decorated, and was very clean and well organized. The bed was very comfortable; we slept well. The unit is all on one floor, the top floor of the building, with floor to ceiling windows facing the ocean. It is on the same level as the street, which makes moving in and out much easier. There is another row of buildings below, but only a limited portion of the ocean view is blocked. There is a natural surfing area straight out and we saw surfers out through the day, some fairly proficient. If you walk down to building 20, you can then complete a five-minute walk on the trail to the beach. Recommend the unit.

We didn't know what we was going to get. But wow a beautiful property. We was in an upper level and had a great view of the ocean. We even saw some surfers from our window. Amazing place to stay. The weather was Rainey but still warm.

My husband and I stayed in this condo for 8 nights to celebrate our 20 year anniversary. The grounds are beautiful, it’s just a short walk to the beach, there are lots of great places to walk, a couple of grocery stores are nearby and lots of places to eat. The condo provided everything we needed, the shower is amazing, the bed very comfortable, nicely decorated and very clean. We even played some tennis!

A stunning Condo, wonderfully decorated,and furnished. The location was perfect, between 3 beaches, and walking trails. This condo has spectacular views, that are enjoyed from the vast windows, in the living area, and even in the kitchen or the patio. The management and housekeeping were very responsive and efficient to requests, which was greatly appreciated. We were so grateful we were able to extend 10 more days, to our original stay. Kapalua , in our opinion, is the best area to stay in Maui. The grounds of the Bay Villa's are so well maintained and it was so lush and Beautiful during our stay. It was such a wonderful break from a Canadian Winter.

our stay at Kapalua Bay Villa's was lovely. It is a very quiet location and though back from the beach it is a nice view and a short walk down the hill. The unit was clean and nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The only time we didn't feel privacy was when the unit next door was occupied, then we had to close curtains or they would look into our unit.

This place has all the comforts of home plus a fantastic view of the ocean. There are two totally comfortable swivel rocking chairs in the living room that we sat in to whale watch (lots of whale breaching and spouting water!). The bed is super comfortable and we always got a good night's sleep, and the kitchen and bathroom are beautifully updated. There is easy access to the coastal trail for exercise, and 4 lovely beaches all within walking distance. We've stayed in Wailea, Kihei, Kaanapali and Napoli, but from now on Kapalua is our go to place! We had a perfect vacation, and we'll come back to this same unit again.

Very nice view. Quiet. Would rent again and recommend to others. Very easy in and out with no steps. A stereo would have been nice for music. The kitchen could be better equipped.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Kapalua Bay Villas in December 2017. The views from the condo are spectacular, and we were able to see whales from our patio! The villas are also located on a trail which makes for an easy walk down to the beach or a hike along the coast.

Overall I'd say this was the best place we have ever stayed. Everything was just perfect.

Views were fantastic at the unit. Truly one of a kind. Unfortunately the stay was mediocre at best. The tile floors throughout were dirty - so much so we had to mop and sweep to clean them to feel ok walking barefoot. The ac unit takes literally hours to cool the house down. We arrive at 4pm and it was 76 degrees in the unit. It didn't cool down to 70 until 4am the next morning. The bed was also extremely uncomfortable and the shades used hide no sunlight. Hope you like waking up at sunrise. Very good views, but would not stay again.

A very beautiful unit with an incredible, breathtaking panorama view of Kapalua Bay. We really enjoyed it. Came to play tennis, and sadly we were not informed that the courts were out of service for a month. Had to pay to play at the Tennis Garden. It too was a very nice facility. All in all - fantastic week of enjoyment.

This condo was beautiful, was in a perfect location, and had breathtaking views. This rarely happens, but the condo was actually even better than what I expected from the pictures - and the pictures are a lot to live up to. My husband and I stayed here for our first ever visit to Hawaii to celebrate our honeymoon. The condo helped us feel at home during our stay, and it was an amazing experience to be able to wake up to beautiful sunrises and go to sleep to beautiful sunsets. It was definitely hard to go home to Pennsylvania after our amazing stay, and we can't wait to come back!

Clean, great bed and nice view. However, there were a number of things that detracted from having a good experience. 1. There were no instructions for anything i.e. Where the garbage dumpster was, where the path to the beach was and that there is no heat if you arrive on a cold and rainy day. 2. There are nice pots and pans, but only one non stick, no baking or oven pans, the stove and oven are inferior as to functionality and the pot lids are metal that require hot pads to touch. 3. The patio chairs are all metal without any pads and uncomfortable. Other units observed had better outdoor furnishings. The next door neighbor is either permanent or rents to dog owners. We woke up daily at six thirty AM to little dog barking and also durring the day. Parking is not good. The patio looks right into the neighbors living room. For a guy, none of the chairs let you put your feet up, like a recliner. So, never again.

Ocean view. Watch the whales from the LR or lanai. Professionally decorated. Modern marble bath. Remodeled kitchen with granite and stainless. Immaculate. Quick response from property mgt. New table and chairs on lanai. Two new beach chairs. Walk to 2 beaches and coastal trail.

With my first time visiting Maui Yet alone Hawaii I had no idea what to expect. I was blown away by the view and how spacious the condo was. Kapalua Bay was also quiet enough to relax and unwind but yet close enough to adventure and the hustle and bustle of the rest of Maui.

Our one bedroom villa was beautifully appointed and exactly as advertised. The view was stunning! The proximity to trails, beaches, spas, snorkeling and first class restaurants all beyond expectation. And the whales splashing about just out from the living room window - well, that was an unexpected, extra special perk. We loved our stay.

Great unit. We've stayed at 4 others in this development and loved this upper unit. Clean, well appointed, beautiful views....what's not to love. Lower units are better for families due to grassy areas out sliding doors, upper units are great for older folks and have better views.

The recently remodeled condo was very nicely appointed, with high-end cabinetry, tile, granite, and is very spacious. The view cannot be beat, it is stunning.

Here is the problem: I was booked into the condo for a week-long stay even though the property management (which is located in California, NOT onsite) knew the air conditioner had problems and would freeze up and cut off at random times. By 9 am the temperature reached 80 degrees and stayed that way all day and into the evening. Their quick fix was to slap a portable AC unit in the bedroom & call it a rentalable space. It was not adequate for any room except the 12' X 12' bedroom, that by the way, overlooked only the driveway, not the ocean. I was told by property management to stay in the bedroom because they put a portable unit in there. NO! I would not stay in a bedroom during my time in the condo unless I was actually sleeping which was also an uncomfortable task due to the high temperature and high humidity.

Anyway, property management has some type of maintenance worker(s) in my condo every day during my 5-day stay, troubleshooting the problem, doing patch work instead of fixing the problem & they did NOT inform me prior to these individuals entering my condo that there would be people in and out while I was there or away for the day enjoying Maui. Property management did not return my call for 4 days, at which time I spoke with the property manager who indicated that she did not get my message from a part-time employee who waited 3 days to deliver my request for assistance.

Onsite property management was elusive & ineffective. Never saw him. No resolution from him

I got multiple excuses, I was accused of threatening property management when all I ask for was the owner's contact information so that they were aware that the condo was not in rental condition and to ask for a partial refund for my trouble. I was offered $150 off of my week long rental that I had to stay out of during the day because it the temperature was so uncomfortable. Vicky also asked me how she could 'buy' a good review. I simply explained that my reviews are not for sale and then I explained for the 3rd or 4th time that she should have offered to move me to a condo where the AC was working and also should definitely provide more of a discount for having been put through this situation on my vacation.

The condo is beautiful, spacious and the view is stunning. Property management extremely poor.

We loved this unit. It was furnished very nicely and the layout for two people was fantastic. We didn't want to leave. We miss the views and the comfort of this condo. Can't wait to go back soon.

The Ugly: DVD player did not work. Promptly replaced by staff upon request. Spotty and inconsistent wi-fi internet connection. Refrigerator malfunctioned and dripped water. Required two staff & repairman visits. Beach chairs uncomfortable and rusty. THE Good: Overall a nice unit. Beautiful view, nice layout, very comfortable, staff prompt friendly staff, did I mention the great view from kitchen, deck, and living room, Good proximity to beach, pool & barbqs, nice bath and shower, comfortable bed and lots of windows to catch the breeze. Breakfast/dinner on balcony was nice. Upper unit with convenient parking. Overall a good experience.

We had a wonderful visit in this unit. We spent 3 weeks in February and enjoyed perfect weather. The unit is very well-appointed and clean. It has lovely views of the ocean. All in all, a great vacation and a great unit.

First impression was Wow! Was worried about the view when I saw the map, but complex allows views from all units so we enjoyed watching surf and whales from our deck. The condo was clean and spacious. Bed looked like it might be soft but turned out to be perfectly comfortable. If we were to critique anything, it would be the shower water pressure. Not sure if it is the pressure or the shower head as pressure seemed fine everywhere else. So, showers were frustrating... other than that, it was a spectacular location. Quiet and serene. If you're looking for nightlife, not the place, but for what we wanted, it was perfect. Thanks for the great experience.

Upscale modern unit! ...perfect location just steps awayfrom beach,... golf right around the corner. Loved the modern kitchen with all the amenities. Would stay here again in a heartbeat !

We actually had a really good time in Hawaii. The room was modern looking and we still had a veiw of the ocean. It was great waking up to the ocean every morning. They have a washer and dryer that came in handy. They also supplied a bunch of little things too such as laundry pods, dishwasher pods, beach chairs, boogie board, set of golf clubs, dishes, pots and pans; all we really had to buy was food. My wife and I had a great time and would stay here again.

We loved our stay at Kapalua Bay Villas. We talked about returning and we will definitely book through Vicky again. Everything was so easy.

The condo was clean and had all the amenities needed. Close to the beach and pool and grills to use. Close to other activities and beaches. Enjoyed the less hectic area, but very close to restaurants and more active areas if you want. Transportation provided by shuttle if needed. Need to have a better explanation of what facilities in the Kapalua Villas you are allowed to use if you are renting from the Aloha Vacation Villas and not the Kapalua Villas.

The location was perfect and the view from the condo was great! We will definitely stay in the Bay Villas again.

We have stayed at many of the properties at Kapalua Bay Villas. This unit has a stunning view and is quiet b/c on the end. It had most everything you could want on a vacation to Hawaii- even beach chairs, an umbrella and floaties! My only complaints were that the kitchen wasn't stocked well with cooking/storage items. Only one potholder which didn't really work, no tin foil, baggies, etc..., no strainer, we had to buy dish soap, little things like that. The basics were there, but would have been nice to have some of the other necessities in the kitchen. A couple other small things- The bed is really soft. Back was not happy. And, the couches aren't the most comfy for hanging out after a long day at the beach. Again, in the grand scheme, these aren't that big of a deal. We loved coming "home" the the unbelievably gorgeous ocean view!

The location of this property is awesome. Just a short walk to the beach, spa or golfing. My wife and I will definitely return.

Overall, our stay was great. The view was fantastic. The bed and furniture were very comfortable. The unit lacked a few basic amenities such as no wine glasses or corkscrew (we left one), no pillow or blanket for pullout bed, no clock, no tv guide channel list, no coasters, and no bedside clock or alarm. The internet was painfully slow to the point of being nearly useless. These are all things we have found standard in other VRBO units. That being said, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. You can sit on the back deck and watch the whales jump. Now, that's a good view!

This unit was better than expected. Usually pictures can over-exagerate certain things but not this place! Was here for a honeymoon and would recommend it to all who ask! Conveniently located also...!

Victoria at Aloha Kapalua Rentals was extremely helpful in securing our reservations at the Kapalua Bay Villas. Our villa had a spectacular view of the ocean and an easy walk to the sandy beach. From our balcony we saw humpback whales almost daily and many times saw them breaching! The unit was stocked with ample cooking and eating utensils and was very clean. I loved that it had a blender (working) because I made protein smoothies everyday:). We thoroghly enjoyed our stay and would definitley return. Mahalo!
