Kapalua Bay Villa 22G4

What a great place! This one bedroom unit is enormous, with million dollar views, a quiet setting, a well-equipped kitchen, and a comfy bed. Mornings sipping coffee watching whales breaching just offshore (thanks for the binoculars!) made this an accommodation I won’t soon forget!

Can’t say enough good things about this unit. The view is absolutely to die for, every morning saw dozens of whales frolicking in the ocean. The patio feels very private because it is raised from the trail. 30 second walk around the corner to the pool. Entire unit is well stocked with everything you could need. The walking trails are fun to explore, you can walk down to Oneloa which is good for body surfing or go down the other way to Kapalua Bay or Napili which have excellent snorkeling. 10/10 would recommend staying here!

The condo was very clean and they have everything you need. Best part is the patio and ocean view!

Comfy one bedroom unit. Walk right out onto lawn and down to beach. Everything was lovely, worked well, was as the pics convey. Having a unit that juts out next door it gave it excellent protection against wind. So We were able to enjoy the lanai much more than the neighbors.

Even on days when the weather did not cooperate we could sit on the patio and read whilst looking out to see and listen to the surf. Clean well stocked villa. The beach chairs got good use. My one FYI would be the pillows on the bed. Flat and hard. Other than that, I wish we did not have to leave.

This place is magical! The oceanfront view is breathtaking! The unit is well stocked and very clean. We bed is very comfortable and plenty of beach and bath towels. You can't beat this location! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The villa is exactly as photographed in the listing which was nice, it\'s a very comfortable property. The few minor issues we had was a bug man coming in and spraying while we were staying there but not in the villa at the time. (prior notice so we could have him come at another time would have been good -security/pesticide) The property manager was very responsive when our AC was making a bit of noise and it was looked at right away. The area in Kapalua is outstanding with the coastal trail, snorkeling, golf and tennis so close. We have stayed in the Villas once before so I would definitely recommend them!

Best lanai for enjoying sunset & sunrise. We also had a great view of the beach. Since the trail dips down in front of the condo, we never had many people around and it felt pretty private. The unit is very well cared for and had everything we needed.

Great location and views. Property was very accurately described. All toiletries, detergents, paper towels, etc were provided. Parking spaces were readily available and in very close proximity. Check in/out couldn’t have been more seamless.

The property was so beautiful that every night just below us wedding photographers captured amazing pictures. You are steps away from one of the best and most secluded beaches and the views are amazing. The pictures (Which are amazing) do not do this place justice.

The villa is everything as described and more! The view out the large windows is breathtaking. The kitchen is very well stocked and very easy to prepare meals there. The bed was very comfortable and we are “bed” snobs in our old age! Being able to do laundry in the villa was definitely a plus. I will miss sitting outside on the lanai having my coffee in the morning. 22G4 is located close to restaurants and other sites. We preferred Nepali beach to Kapalua beach because of the constant higher waves and wind at Kapalua. If you are looking to relax and kick back or do more sightseeing Kapalua has it all.

We loved staying at this villa. When you walk in the door your jaw will drop at the view. We enjoyed the ground level access and open space outside. Nice not feeling restricted by a balcony railing. I give the place 5 stars and feel like I enjoyed my stay more than if I stayed at the neighboring resorts not too mention significant cost savings. We had a small issue with making ice, but we bought a bag of ice and it stayed fine.

Unit 22G4, Kapula Bay Villas is a wonderful, peaceful location. We had many memorable evenings enjoying the scenery on the lanai. Now, the bad news. There is no parking next to the villa. The parking lot is 2 flights of steep stairs below. That is quite a chore when lugging luggage up and down and whenever you use your car daily to come and go. We are in our early 70's and by the end of the week my husband could hardly walk.His knew was so inflamed. Another caution is the shower. It has a very steep step into it and it is VERY slippery, dangerous for all, not just seniors. We would recommend the property with reservations, as stated. We, however; will not be choosing this property again. Next time we will choose a villa that has easier access. P.S. When I say we are in our 70's do not assume that we are not physically fit. At home we bike 15-20 miles a day and Kayak regularly.

In a word, PERFECTION. This property was exactly as described, beautifully furnished and meticulously cleaned. I mean spotless clean. Even the beach chairs were cleaned and spotless. And the view, wow! It literally doesn't get any better than this view. Every day we sat out on the lanai and watched whales breaching. The view is just mesmerizing. The location is perfect. It's right off of the Coastal Trail, there's multiple pristine beaches within a few minute walk of the unit, and world class restaurants are within walking at the Montage and the Ritz Carlton. The Kapalua Tennis Garden and golf courses are a 3 minute drive away. Vicky, who manages the reservations was great to work with and made the entire experience seamless and effortless. We would definitely recommend this property and we cannot wait to come back.

Gorgeous condo on the waterfront with spectacular view. Very spacious and quiet. Easy walk to the beach and many walking trails just off the patio. Great pool and barbecue area that we used daily.

Having stayed at the Kapalua Bay Villas before I knew I was in for a wonderful week. The location is magnificent and although the Kapalua trail skirts the coast below it felt private and secluded. Occasionally I saw the top of a hikers head bob up and down as they walked along the trail but my peace and harmony was never disturbed. My husband and I spent a lot of time on the lanai enjoying the views and savoring tropical fruit and banana bread purchased at the farmers market near Leoda’s pie shop. One morning we saw a pod of dolphins swim by and spotted turtles nearly every day. Having traveled from a different time zone, I woke early and went outside to stargaze! On a clear night, the stars are so bright in Maui. At dawn, a dreamlike mist would linger below on Oneloa bay. What a calm, magical way to start your day and set your mood. Traveling during the pandemic, we ordered grocery pick up from Safeway, cooked meals at the villa and occasionally ordered takeout. The, well stocked, kitchen made meal preparation a breeze. The bath towels were fluffy and the bed was comfortable. My husband felt the shower step was hazardous-- he slipped and fell stepping into the sunken shower. All the best beaches are within walking distance. We walked along the trail to Kapalua Beach where we snorkeled in the morning and watched the sunsets at night. We also walked to Flemming beach and to Napili beach. The Haleakala sunrise was worth the early morning drive (register for this activity at ). We also enjoyed the road to Hana and the Pipiwai trail to the Waimoku waterfall. A short drive from the villa is the tropical Honolua bay trail and further up the road is the Kakalele blowhole. Although many things were still closed in Maui, the beauty, peace and tranquility of this beautiful island was not closed. I can now get through a cold, dark, pandemic winter as my soul is now content. Thank you Kapalua! -

Perfect location with unbelievable views and walking distance to the Montage. Was a last minute trip with nothing available in Kapalua. Worked with an agent of Aloha and she was able to get me the best unit they have in my opinion.

Our stay at the villa was wonderful! It was the perfect place to snorkel and swim and take in the warmth and tropical breezes. We swam with turtles this time and saw one whale. Ate fabulous food out and BBQ at our little villa. Best bed and rested better that have in ages. We miss it already and plan to go back next year. Thank you!

Free shuttle service nice to get to various restaurants. Honolula store has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Living room furniture and bed need to be replaced. A lot of dead ants on patio door should have been cleaned up.

My husband and I spent a perfect week in unit 22G4 in late August 2019. We were thrilled with our first visit to the Kapalua Bay Villas. The property is breathtaking, with views that make you pinch yourself. It was quiet, serene, uncrowded and very well kept. Our particular unit was like a high end hotel room, but with much more space. The bed was comfy, kitchen well stocked, amenities like beach chairs were in great shape. We felt our unit’s beachfront location was one of the best in the complex. Probably any unit in our building or adjacent ones would be terrific...close to the walkway to the beach, unobstructed views, and less than five minutes from the gorgeous and uncrowded beach. We walked over to the Ritz and the Montage and felt no envy, only pity for those who spent several times more for the same fabulous view and high quality accommodations. We would definitely encourage anyone to stay here!

Unit 22G4 is a wonderful condo. The owners and the property management company have thought of everything. Items provided include two beach chairs with shoulder straps for carrying, beach towels, plenty of bath towels and bath cloths, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, and an outside water hose. If TV is important to you, you should know that the TVs in the unit are a bit small and dated. However, just look out the sliding glass door and you will have plenty to watch. Oneloa beach is just below the hill. Kapalua Bay beach is a bit of a walk, but fairly easy. Napili Bay and DT Fleming beaches might be best visited using the free shuttle provided by the resort. They were paving the parking lot areas while we were there, but the management company staff went out of their way to make sure that it was a smooth process for those staying on site. Overall this is an excellent condo in a great location.

Vicky was so helpful with arranging our accommodations. Upon arrival we were very pleased at the location, the awesome view and the size of the condo. It was clean and the tile floors were very nice. We spent most of our time just enjoying the wonderful ocean view, but of course we had to make a couple of trips into Lahaina to pick up a few souvenirs and eat at Bubba Gump's. We would definitely recommend 22G4 to anyone who loves an ocean view. We hope to return soon.

The unit was beautiful but the weather did not cooperate. High wind and heavy rain spoiled our vacation.

This was our first trip to Maui & what an experience it was!! My husband & I celebrated our 21st anniversary & we were blessed to have the opportunity to stay in this amazing & very beautiful condo. We were in awe of the stunning view from the moment we walked through the door. The condo was very clean & well stocked & the view was beyond words! We enjoyed meals on the lanai, snorkeling & watching the surfers surf on the beach below us. So wonderful to have the beach in walking distance & many thanks for providing beach chairs. Lovely morning walks along the Kapalua trail & gorgeous sunsets within a short walk. We had a wonderful & memorable vacation & we hope to enjoy another stay at your beautiful condo soon.

Amazing view of the ocean with a very short walk to a secluded beautiful beach. Definitely would recommend this unit over staying in a hotel. Quality kitchen, comfortable king bed, and a big walk in shower... the place is very well done.

My husband and I returned to Maui to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary. This villa was amazing with the perfect setting. As the security gate opens you enter a beautifully landscaped property with amazing plants and flowering trees. The winding road leads up to the villa and greeted us with a breathtaking view of the ocean. Once inside, the panoramic ocean view and crashing waves welcomed us to the start of a great vacation. The well-designed floor plan is perfect for couples. Just as important, the villa was immaculate. We love to explore new sites on our own. However, on this trip, for several days we just stayed at the villa, walked down to the beach and enjoyed that great lanai. After a day of exploring we could not wait to return to the villa. Over the years, we have stayed at several villas, and we found this one to be the best. We plan to stay at this villa again and have recommended it to family and friends.

Perfect place for my wife and I to spend our 20th anniversary. The location, the views, the proximity to the beach, perfectly equipped; by far one of the better places we have stayed.

Villa was very clean, comfortable and a great location. Unfortunately, it was the rainiest trip we have ever had.

You can't beat the view from this lovely condo. We saw whales and turtles right from the bluff. You sit high up so the view is gorgeous and yet walk down to the beach in a minute and go swimming right there! Another plus for us was the lovely short walk along the grass to the pool. Pools were a little small and we missed a hot tub, but still pleasant. Another plus to this condo development is that you are away from the crowds. You might want to note that the surf can be rough from this beach depending on the day and weather. We drove to ideal snorkeling spots. Oh and a few cane spiders in the bathroom gave me a bit of a fright, but after doing some research, they are actually beneficial...although big! Yikes!

Amazing villa, it's views are phenomenal. We have been going to Kapalua for over 20 years and it never disappoints, there is no better view than choosing a villa oceanfront. My only negative comment, was that the air conditioner did not function properly since it only went to the minimum of 72 degrees. I think the property needs a new air conditioner, seemed like it was on its last leg....

Great, we took a discounted rate due to 'exterior maintenance', it was minimal/non-obtrusive, mostly on the front of the condo, workers were very polite. Location really can't be beat, unit was clean. Coffee grinder didn't work but I never called anyone (the blender had a 'grind' function for my 100% Kona beans!), I didn't have a reason to call anyone for anything, everything worked and was beautiful, even a rainbow over the ocean on one of our last days.

The location and view from this unit exceeded our expectations! The unit was very clean when we arrived and the furniture and bed were very comfortable. We had an issue with the a/c the day after we arrived and the management company was there within 30 minutes to access the problem. We could not have been more pleased with the condition and location of the unit. Our 10 day stay was wonderful.

We had such a lovely time while staying on Maui this year. The Bay Villas is the place to stay. The shuttle makes it easy to dine out at night and enjoy yourself. 22G4 was a beautiful condo - clean, comfortable and the view is amazing... The pool that overlooks the ocean is also a great place to spend the afternoon!

The pictures just barely do this condo justice! The property is located right overlooking the water, so clean and makes you feel right at home with everything you need for your vacation! We celebrated the second half of our honeymoon here and will absolutely make a return trip!

It was a great experience. The location is absolutely perfect. The unit was clean and the grounds were well maintained. It would be great to have an earlier check-in option that does not involve an entire day rate charge. Also, the gate to the Bay Villas area was not working half the time (the pin code system wasn't registering codes correctly). I hope that as that system becomes more used the kinks are worked out. There were several ants on the back patio. I could tell that a pesticide spray had been used near the building exterior leading to a build-up of dead ants right at the doorway. We have a little crawler who was wondering around the unit all week, and it would be good to know where pesticide was laid down and dried prior to our arrival.

We stayed in 22G4, and our son and his family were in 22G2. Great arrangement!

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon in June to Kauai and Maui. The villa was clean and the view was gorgeous - everything was exactly as depicted in the pictures online. Oneloa Beach was steps from the villa, and it was gorgeous but unfortunately could not spend a lot of time there, as it was extremely windy and the sand was blowing all over us! But, it was just as nice to relax on our lanai and take in the gorgeous view. The villa is also steps from the Kapalua Coastal Trail, which is amazing, and where we took some of our favorite pictures from our whole trip. It is also a ~15 minute walk to the gorgeous Kapalua Bay Beach, where we spent a lot of time. We would highly recommend this property and are dreaming about when we can come back!

The views from this villa are amazing! The location is prime, with the pool just around the corner, and you can see the beach from the front lawn of the villa! Kapalua beach was quite a walk, but there is a free shuttle that will take you anywhere within the resort area. The villa itself was very nice. The only complaint I have was that we were only supplied with 2 rolls of toilet paper for our entire stay. Also, while the mattress was very comfortable, the pillows are in need up an upgrade. Some nice down pillows to replace the standard foam ones would be nice.

Walked in and saw the view! Everything we thought we would get and more. Beautiful property and I walked to the Bay course to play my first round. Everything worked fine and it was very comfortable. Great bed, killer shower and all around a great unit.

The villa is very nice and has beautiful views-I would fully recommend it, but the biggest problem is the fact that almost every day, for hours and hours, we had to listen to leaf blowers and weed whackers...I understand that the landscaping is important-but it was so loud and so annoying that we were unable to sit outside, nap, read--in fact we literally had to leave the villa to get away from it...Many communities do not allow them, or limit the use of them-that would be my biggest complaint...other than that this is ideal...

Pros: This Villa had a stunning view including sunrise and sunset, we enjoyed relaxing on the lanai and watching the clouds and the sailboats pass by. The trail, beach and nearby hotels added to the overall experience. The pictures, property description and amenities were accurate as listed. The management provided great customer service. Cons: There are many stairs from the parking lot to the unit as well as down to the beach, so no easy access for people with mobility limitations. (recovering from a broken foot was challenging at times at this location) There were no pictures and no information listed about all the stairs. Loud leaf blowing and lawn equipment was used on a daily basis. Some landscaping maintenance is necessary but they were overzealous. No Jacuzzi at the pool, or tub or jetted tub in the Villa. Either or both would be welcome additions to this property. We asked about this prior to our visit and decided to enjoy the spa at the Montage nearby which was outstanding. Overall the pros outweighed the cons. We had a great vacation and really enjoyed this Villa!

We spent 4/15 to 4/22/16 in the unit. In a nutshell, we'd do it again. The location is fantastic. The views, convenience to Oneaola Beach and to a very classy, quiet pool are great. These units are beginning to show their age. I doubt it is just this unit...likely all of them. However, the unit was clean, functional and comfortable and we felt the price we paid was fair. If the units were brand new construction with brand new furniture, appliances, baths, etc., I expect the price would be least. Like I said, we'd book it again for next week.

Everything was ok.

We chose this Villa to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and it exceeded our expectations! The bed was so comfortable, sheets and towels were beyond soft. We used the beach chairs, thick beach towels, coolers, pots and pans, washer and dryer, dishwasher, oven and microwave, and even the binoculars, and everything worked perfectly! It was home away from home! We saw spinner dolphins from the lanai, and Oneola beach down below is amazing! I was floating on one of the supplied boogie boards and almost fell off in surprise when a sea turtle swam underneath me! An added bonus was we could see the sunrise AND sunset from our lanai! As far as property management goes, my husband's phone died on our first day and we had to warranty it. We contacted Jake who helped us in figuring out where to have it sent, then had someone personally deliver it within 24 hrs! Service can't be beat!

My husband and I were thrilled when we opened he front door and were overtaken by the sweeping views of the ocean. The front lawn over looking the ocean, just steps to the beach, cannot be beat! The quality and crafsmanship of the interior ammenities were so valuable to us and really made or vacation feel high end! The stone floors, the gorgeous open stone shower, the furniture and interior design were simply delightful! We love this condo and will be back to stay in exactly this unit! thank you for offering such a lovely home.

Nice enough place, been in better been in worse. My main disappointment was the cleanliness, spacificaly the mold in the shower. I had read other other reviews about cleanliness and the property management company assured me it was overly critical tenants complaining about sea spray on the windows....obviously not the case.  The bay villas are in a great, beautiful, peaceful location but if your looking to roll a chair out to the lawn this unit is not the best as the sun is blocked by the protruding unit to the west.

This is a great location with an incredible view. The condo was very clean and well stocked with everything needed for a stay. The pool and bbq was a 10 sec walk away and was very clean and much enjoyed after a day exploring the island.

We stayed here in June and again last week! We returned because it was a wonderful place!

We rented 3 condos close by and they were all everything we hoped for. It doesn't get much better than this. We would absolutely stay here again.

Absolutely wonderful!

Just cannot beat this location for a relaxing vacation. Love the views, and the access to multiple terrific beaches without having to take a car. The condo is very nice. One item for improvement would be more fully stocking the kitchen. We bought a new wine opener as the one there was not functional, and there was only a single normal wine glass. No worries however, the juice glasses worked fine. Stocked for basic cooking but details missing (for example, hot pads and trivets).

This property has a fantastic location and was very clean. The real beauty of it was the property manager, who was always there to answer any questions and help with any concerns. The concierge service had all our food and beverages in place for our arrival, which we truly appreciated. This is a first class property all the way around.

Given the wrong unit and door code upon arrival. had to move to new unit after unpacking. Unit is aging, particularly the furniture. Kitchen is poorly equipped - Non-stick pans that are worn out and everything sticks, knives that barely cut butter, no BBQ tongs, etc. Only one working remote for the TV. Staff is rude: "If you needed more TP you should have asked yesterday".

This is the second time we have stayed in this condo in Kapalua at the Bay Villas. We loved it this first time and loved it even more the second time. Location, location, location. The property location is our favorite. It is very spacious for 2 people (haven't tried 4 yet) and very well maintained. Will definitely try to stay here again.

There was major construction (roof repair) at this condo and we were not able to use the patio Monday thru Friday, this was to have been completed prior to our arrival. The door code did not work and we had to call the local rep at midnight to get a new code. The beach blow this condo is reachable via a very long stairway and the water is very turbulent, however this unit is close to Kapalua Bay and that can be reached by Kapalua shuttle or a short drive to a good parking lot. All in all we had a great time and would stay here again knowing that we didn’t have to experience construction

Besides a few hiccups (wrong code for door, and internet issues) our stay at this villa was beyond what we expected. The property was right on the water, the view was amazing, and was very clean. We also loved the fact it was away from all the tourist hustle and bustle. Just having our own washer/dryer, kitchen, and our own lanai on the ground floor was very helpful. We can't wait to come back soon!

..waking up to a gorgeous sunrise, bringing to the life the golden stretch of sand and glistening bay to the north, while listening to the sound of the waves crashing against volcanic cliffs to the south...this is how you start your day at Kapalua Bay Villas. While in Maui, we travelled the entire circumference of the island and I quickly realized that there was no other place that I would rather stay. First of all, you don't feel like you're in the midst of a resort strip, nice or otherwise; you feel like you're at home with complete privacy and space. Secondly, our unit was beautiful, spacious and immaculate. Finally, the grounds were beautifully maintained. The views are magnificent, the pools are lovely and the oceanside trail is perfect for a run or leisurely stroll. As well, every detail was handled with friendly professionalism. I would highly recommend a stay at this property!

This condo was beautiful, but I found the walk to the beach a little difficult, with a steep trail or 3 flights of stairs maneuver. In the condo, the bed was very comfy, and I loved the shower, along with nice furniture, and kitchen appliances. But our stay started off wrong, with being sent the wrong door key code, and having the wrong internet code. We were supposed to have a binder with all the info for area, along with a parking pass and info on how to operate TV, cable, internet, etc. but didn't have it. And NEVER got it. Condo was nice, but management wasn't

We had a week here for our honeymoon. The villa was exactly what we both had in mind for a perfect honeymoon location. Great view and location.

What a wonderful experience this condo offered. We started our day with our coffee on the Lanai watching the whales breach and the dolphins pass by as the sun came up. Believe it or not, this location offered both great sun rises and sun sets.

This condo was clean, contemporary, well stocked and well maintained. It has a great grassy area to sit or for little ones to run off a little energy. The walk down to the beach is pretty easy and short. The trail and tide pools in front of the condo were great fun for exploring and peaceful walks. We even saw some turtles there.

The Kapalua grounds are impeccably maintained. The swimming pool areas have BBQ, comfy lounge chairs and dining which is nice with a group of friends.

World renowned Kapalua Bay beach is also within walking distance or a quick drive where we paddle boarded, body surfed and snorkeled- we saw tons of fish. This, all of the beaches we visited on the island, offered the best variety of adventure and relaxation for my family. This is a great sandy cove for families as there are plenty of amenities (Rest rooms, rentals and a little store) and the protected bay kept the surf down.

After the long day of play, the extremely plush king size bed offered a great night’s rest. I travel frequently and for me a great bed and a good night’s sleep can make or break a trip.

I’d highly recommend this condo to couples and small families alike.

This is a beautiful property, ocean front as advertised, just a short walk to two beaches. The condo was very clean and accommodating as far as our needs. The only disappointment was that the master bedroom was not ocean side.

We have stayed in this Bay Villa for two straight years....it\'s wonderful. We saw dozens of whales right out the back door sipping mai tais on the lanai. VERY NICE!

This property is truly beautiful and done very tastefully with all the comforts of home. We enjoyed our stay very much and as other reviewers have said, we were quite comfortable and happy to spend the day at the condo! The views are unsurpassed with Oneloa bay a short walk away. The floor to ceiling windows make watching the waves crash so mesmerizing. Lovely, lovely place!!

We have stayed in several vrbo condos and houses throughout the Hawaiian islands and this condo is just so lovely! It is front on ocean view with floor to ceiling windows. The trail to the beach and cliff walk is just a few steps away and only a 30 second walk to the sandy beach. On a calm surf day the snorkeling is very good on the left side of ghe beach (near the rock). There were a few windy days when we couldn\'t swim in the ocean here, but drove about 5 minutes to Napilli Beach or Kapalua Beach where we could get into the water (both are beautiful). Lahaina and Kaanapali are an easy drive, but I\'m telling you, you will not want to leave this beautiful area.

The condo is fully renovated with everything new and modern. Granite counters, stone floors, stainless appliances. Everything was very clean.. And did I tell you about the amazing view!!! It will take your breath away!

Best restaurants on Maui are 1) Mama's Fish House (just past Pa'ai town), 2) Merrimans (in Kapalua just a few minutes from the condo) 3) Sea House (in Kapalua just a few mintes from condo). We also ate at several restaurants in Lahaina and Kaanapali, but no comparison to the three mentioned above.

Be sure to see the Warren and Annabelle magic show in Lahaina (make a reservation before you leave home). It is a very entertaining and fun evening. The road to Hana is beautiful, but prepare for a very long day.

My perfect Maui itinerary would be: 1-2 nights at Mamas Fish House Inn and of course dinner there; drive to Hana and stay 3-4 nights, then drive to Kapalua and stay as long as you can in this condo. I hope that we can do this again soon!

Villa has a great location and everything you will need for your stay. My husband and I so enjoyed the patio, the view and the sound of crashing waves! We stayed at the Ritz Carlton as well, and even thought the Ritz is very nice and the customer service always exceptional, I think we actually enjoyed out time in the villa more! Would definetly reccommend this villa and location.

We started our 14 day vacation with 5 days in this beautiful villa. Every morning we had our coffee overlooking the ocean on the lanai. Breathtaking views, the pictures don\'t do it justice. The unit was equipped with everything we needed for a perfect getaway. Marti & Lars are great owners!

I would highly recommend this condo to anyone.. The view is amazing and since it is tucked back just little you don't have the wind as much as some of the others. My only problem was that, since we were continuing our vacation elsewhere, I did a couple of loads of laundry and found that everything was stained with rust. I put the first load in and left when I returned I put the second load in and noticed that the washing machine sounded terrible, unfortunately I did not notice the rust until it was too late. Many, many items of clothing were permanently damaged. I notified the rental agent and was informed that she had not had this complaint previously and would notify the proper parties and I have heard no more. So, if you plan to stay at this property I would suggest you not use the washing machine.

The property was all that it was advertised and more! Extremely clean; well equipped; great location and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The owner's description "practically perfect in every way" is not an overstatement. This is a beautiful condo in an exquisite oceanfront location just steps from the beach. The incredible view (perfect for whale-watching) makes it hard to leave for other activities. The condo is lovely--beautifully updated and tastefully decorated. The owners are kind, accommodating and responsive. We have stayed at a number of the Kapalua Bay Villa units. This is the one we definitely hope to return to. We highly recommend it.

This Kapalua Bay Villa condo is wonderful. The location and view are fantastic. It is spacious, clean and well appointed. Everything was as advertised. There are beaches, restaurants and golf within walking distance. The only \"downside\" is that we were reluctant to go out and explore West Maui, since it was so nice just staying in the condo sipping Mai Tai\'s on the lanai, watching the surf and the frequent whale activity...

This condo was awesome! Whale watching, relaxing, golf. Perfect in every way!

My husband and I stayed at Kapalua during our honeymoon. I cannot even begin to describe how perfect this villa is. First of all, the pictures do not do it justice. It is so well cared for. The bathroom is huge and beautiful. The kitchen has new appliances and overlooks the ocean. Truly a joy to cook from! The master bed is very comfortable and the bedroom can be very dark if you like to sleep like that!

As you can kind of tell from the pictures, you are ocean front. My husband and I would start every day with a cup of coffee and breakfast on the porch that overlooks the ocean. It is absolutely stunning. The beach is a short 2 minute walk down the bluff. It is a perfect location.

We loved staying here over a hotel because it gave us more control over our schedule. We tended to eat breakfast and lunch in the villa while we were at the beach or doing other activities and then we would go out for dinner at one of the many restaurants in Kapalua. The location of the villa is also perfect. We walked to Merrimans and to the Ritz for dinner on several occasions. The walk to Merrimans is along the ocean and if done at sunset, there is nothing better!

All that is about the villa. Now to the owners! They are fantastic. Like I said, we went on our honeymoon. We arrived to a bottle of champagne, chocolates and coffee. The perfect arrival package! They were also incredibly responsive when I was making the arrangements and everything was exactly as they described. We got our deposit back within a day or two.

Overall, I would absolutely recommend this villa to others. We traveled around on our honeymoon and went to three different locations, but have unanimously agreed that this was the best place we stayed. If we ever get back to Hawaii, we will definitely stay here!

We finally got back to Maui after 20 years. Now we are wondering why we waited so long.

This condo is everything you see in the pictures and read in the discription and more. Very well maintained, decorated beautifully and a great location. The view from the lanai is incredible. We sat and listened to the ocean for hours. The owner made it very easy to book online. We won't wait another 20 years and we hope to be able to stay at this condo again. Alhoa!
