Great spot with the easiest access to trails golf and everything else. It was super clean and had all the amenities for cooking and laundry. Plus, it’s absolutely gorgeous and the closest to the coast.

This property surpassed our expectations! Thoughtfully provisioned, well appointed and extremely clean! The view from the lanai of the Pacific was breathtaking! I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a quiet, accessible and up-scale vacation rental. The rental provided us with extremely comfortable accommodations within the boundaries of the beautiful Kapalua resort neighborhood.

We had a great time. The condo was updated and in very good condition. Good location. Kapalua Bay was a 10 minute walk. Walked on several beaches, around the golf course, on Dragons Point, and the Kapalua Coastal Trail.

This was a beautiful one bedroom villa with an open, clean and updated feel. The view is wonderful with the ocean right in front of you and views of the water hitting the rocks.

We have stayed in this villa many times over the years. I remains in excellent condition. The Aloha Vacation Villas staff is always professional and responsive.

This is a beautiful property with amazing ocean views. The kitchen was perfectly stocked and the unit was very clean. Plus, the unit was stocked with lots of extra towels, Kleenex and laundry soap. It’s only a five minute walk to Kapula Bay for snorkeling. And the biggest bonus was the whale watching. We saw dozens of whales from the small patio. The only minor item was the mattress in the bedroom could use an upgrade to a luxury hotel mattress to to be on par with the rest of the unit. We would definitely stay again.

We have rented from Aloha Vacation Villas for the past few years. I feel like our experience with AVV was better when we first rented than it was this year. We would normally receive detailed instructions for check in/out (what to do with towels, bedding, etc.). We did not know when to expect cleaning to occur. And, there were no instructions on how to use the TVs in the unit (no channel descriptions, instructions for remotes, etc.). It just could have been more thoughtful than simply providing a code to enter. We are thinking about using a different property manager next year. Also, the unit is very close to the ocean and the window were covered with water from the ocean spray nearly the entire time we were there. The squeegee provided was not in good shape. So, we didn't really get to enjoy the views. I'm sure in times where the winds are calm (almost never in Kapalua), the view is magnificent. Finally, the bed was quite uncomfortable. It needs to be replaced.

Located north of Lahaina on the west coast and only steps away from the ocean, this condo is perfect to enjoy the beauty of Maui. We even saw humpback whales very close to the shore from the lanai! The condo itself, as well as the whole property, are very well maintained. Definitely my favorite spot in Hawai'i.

The unit was exactly as expected in great shape, clean, with great views. It was a very easy trip and aloha vacation villlas were very accommodating and responsive to all of our needs. I would rent from them again

Overall, this condo is nicely renovated. However, there were a couple of issues that drove us crazy. First, there is an overwhelming smell of mold when you walk in the door. At first I just thought the condo had been closed up, but that was not the case. Secondly, there is no air vent at all in the bathroom. The bathroom was very, very hot and stuffy most of the day. Trying to dry your hair & get dressed at 5pm in that hot bathroom was near impossible. Overall the air conditioning in the condo struggled to keep up in every room except the bedroom. This condo is beautifully decorated so we had no complaints with that.

We loved our stay at the villa. The unit was beautiful and updated and we saw rainbows over the bay every day we were there. This trip was a gift for my wife’s fiftieth birthday and you helped make her Hawaii 5-0 birthday unforgettable!

Truly a luxury experience. Working with Marty, on the reservation and Rob onsite, were great experiences. They made a great trip even better. The Villa is very well equipped, and beautiful. We look forward to going back

This is one of the nicest rental locations we have ever visited. This one bedroom villa is in an excellent location with wonderful views from the lanai. It was clean, well maintained and quiet with large living spaces and a nice bathroom with a wonderful shower area. The property is secure with a code lock rather than a key, which was nice not only for safety but for not having to carry a key everywhere. We were in walking distance of the Montage and Ritz Carlton Resorts and were a 10 to 15 manure walk from Merriman’s Restaurant and Sea House. Beach access was also good! The villa and the property were clean, well maintained and near the pool.

The view was not what i expected because of the units next door blocked that portion of the view but the unit itself was great. I would stay there again.

We loved the rental in Kapalua though Aloha Vactations. The owner took such care in updating the property and it was beautiful. Simply paradise.

We just returned from an 8-night stay in this villa and in every way it exceeded our expectations. First, let me say the location is SPECTACULAR. It is quite literally at the edge of a bluff overlooking the crashing surf and Molokai. The villa is very upscale with a nicely equipped kitchen and some convenient extras like beach chairs, beach towels and a washer and dryer. The walks you can take from the villa are varied and each spectacular in its own way - the ocean trail, beautiful Kapalua beach and several golf courses. Finally, the concierge service offered by Candice at Aloha Villas was wonderful. She set us up for several excursions (surf lessons, helicopter tour, Maleakala sunrise and biking tour, and diving trip to Molokini) and each of the excursions was top notch and hosted by friendly, professional outfitters. We will be back!

This is a five star property with great furnishings and is well equipped. It has an almost 180 degree ocean view.

The pictures very accurately depict this villa. It is very open a nicely renovated. No stairs at all to get to the unit. Communication with the retnters was followed up by prompt professional answers. They also did have soap for the dishwasher and laundry! Plenty of nice plat ware, silverware and grill utensils were also in the unit. One thing to note though is the front deck doesn't get any sun but that can be nice after a day on the beach. Perfection in every way. Two weeks of a glorious vacation at Kapalua Bay Villa 30B1 Gold Oceanfront. The location is amazing, walking trails right out the door, and three fantastic beaches to walk to, and restarants, and shopping and groceries.Captivating waves crash the rocks in front of the condo, wonderful to watch. A perfect lunai, to enjoy at all times of the day and evenings. In March, daily the humpback whales were visible at all times of the day, from the condo, or walking trails. We loved everything about this condo, and location. The decor is perfection,the kitchen well stocked, and the entire condo is just amazing. So clean and well presented. the complex grounds are beautiful, lush and sprawling. We hope to be able to return soon! We are so appreciative to the owners of this stunning renovated Condo, sharing their Heaven in Maui.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Kapalua Bay Villas and found this property exceptionally well-appointed with a view that was second-to-none. The patio provided the perfect spot every morning to watch whales breaching in the nearby Bays. The condo was immaculate upon arrival. The kitchen was well outfitted and in-suite laundry was an unexpected plus. Location was central in Kapalua, located between all the amenities of the Ritz-Carlton and Montage properties. There really isn't anything we'd change about the condo, however the addition of some board games would be a nice treat for slower nights. We spent 5 days in Bay Villa 30B1. The unit was spotless and well stocked with new appliances, dishes, serving platters, etc. The location on the edge of the cliff was breathtaking. The location of Bay Villas is perfect--close to Montage Resort/Beach, Ritz Resort/Beach, fine dinning (Merriman's, SanSei Seafood, Kapalua grocery store, etc.

We have vacationed at Kapalua for over 30 years, and this villa ranks among the all-time best. The proximity to the ocean cannot be beat. A recent renovation added central air conditioning and a new kitchen. The scenic walks made up for the lack of access to the fitness centers at Montage or the Ritz Carlton. We'll rent this unit again.

We stayed in 30B1 for a week in July. It was exactly as pictured. We were very happy with the condo. Recently upgraded to "gold." Very clean. Washer and dryer a big plus. Location was perfect, view was gorgeous. Walking distance to several beaches. Would not hesitate to stay again or recommend to anyone.

We were looking for a quiet place with fewer people. The Kapalua Bay Villas delivered! Unit is a second story with ground level access. The second story provided awesome views of the ocean. The unit is right near the 1.6 mile coastal trail for great walks up and down the coast. The place was appointed very well. All recent upgrades are top notch. We would definitely stay there again!

This was our second stay at this condo. The first time was in 2014 and we felt this was the best then. However, now, with these spectacular upgrades, we are forever ruined for any other place! Everyone talks about the views, which are spectacular, and can't be beat. We didn't get to see turtles from the patio this time due to rough surf but we swam with them every day! On our last day, we swam with 5 turtles at one time. It was such an incredible experience.

Walking along the Kapalua Coastal trail is a great way to wake up and get in some exercise. No gym is needed here as you can walk, run, swim, surf, golf or whatever you need to do right outside the front door. The best snorkeling spot in Hawaii is a 5 minute walk away! And the owners provide beach chairs, towels and a cooler!

We tried a couple of new restaurants that are a drive from Kapalua. But Tin Roof in Kahalui (get it when you arrive in Maui as it is close the airport) was awesome (Mochiko and Chop Steak bowls). They have limited hours so lunch is the time to try it. Also recommend Down The Hatch in Lahaina for good food and night life. Lava Lava Shrimp is yummy as is the Lobster and Crab Grilled Cheese. But with the kitchen in 30B1, you don't need to go out much!

For adventures- we highly recommend John Shappel at Maui Kayaks for a Makena Turtle Town kayak and snorkel tour. He always makes some sea life find like octopus or cowry shells with sea snails and takes awesome underwater photos of you to capture the memories.

Now for the upgrade! Thank you for the central AC. People say you don't need it in Hawaii but you do and this upgrade was greatly appreciated. We loved everything about it. It is amazing how much more spacious this condo now looks by changing the flooring and furniture. We loved the new furniture (the old sofa bed was badly in need of replacement- thank you!) and love the color scheme and new kitchen. We left a few spice additions to add to the collection that such a gourmet kitchen should have!

On our last night, we started planning our return trip to Maui in 2017!

We spent a great week in this suite. The price is great for the location and the view. There are other suites that are updated and the rates reflect it. This suite is huge for 2, and was clean. It clearly needs updating - carpets are old, washroom and kitchen desperately need a remodel. There are no extras for the beach like snorkel gear, boogie boards or sun chairs like the other suites. You can rent them at the next bay over (5 min walk) but you are better off buying them from Kmart or bringing them from home because the rentals are pricey even for Maui. The washer and dryer were nice to have. An added bonus was having up to $100 of groceries delivered to the suite (you just need to tell them what you want in advance) since we got in late and the coffee and breakfast items were a lifesaver the next morning. This was the best part of the concierge service other than that they are clearly very busy and if you want to book something you are probably better off to do it yourself online. Vicky was really great to deal with in booking the suite. She followed up, called and made sure we had all of our documents. The overall resort was beautiful but there is no gym and the Montage Spa is ridiculously priced for any spa service.

This villa is right across from the trail that leads along the ocean and down to the beach. It is a second floor villa. So you cannot just walk outside to a lounge chair in front. However, the pool is just behind the villa and the beach is just a short distance down the trail. The condition of the villa, although dated is quite acceptable and spacious. Their are small tube tv's that could be updated. All villa amenities were in working order. The villa is walking distance to golf, restaurants and the Honolau store. This villa is also priced right. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

This unit has the most gorgeous views from a spacious balcony. It is a bit dated which didn't bother us because we were outside all the time. It is very clean with all rooms being a good size. We couldn't have enjoyed it more and will definitely go back.

Overall, it was great place. It's located in a great spot in the complex and not too far from Lahaina. We really enjoyed it for the location and the ability to be very active on the beach and walking trails. The place itself could use some updating. There is no air conditioning. There was a portable one in the bedroom, but a water bucket was attached to it catching water which had to be emptied and also dangerous next to electrical wires. Since there is no air, windows had to be kept open in the day for a breeze, but so much salt comes in that it keeps the floors, tables and windows wet all of the time and had to be continuously cleaned. There was supposed to be a mid-week cleaning and all they did was make the bed and leave towels. The bathroom was not cleaned. No supplies were replenished like toilet paper or soap. I had to clean the bathroom myself. No extra batteries. Remote control died and the smoke detector also died. Having a washer/dryer was a plus and having your 1st order of groceries delivered was also a big plus. With some minor changes, I would still recommend this place.

Marty at Aloha Kapalua Rentals delivered exactly the perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. Incredible views coupled with unparalleled serenity and beauty greeted us everyday we were there. We have been back for about a month and we are still having trouble transitioning back to life!

Felt like the condo needed updating

Unit 30B1 is an ideal location for a relaxing Hawaiian vacation. There are no other buildings between you and the ocean. We watched sea turtles in the ocean from the patio. The view and location is superb. Can't wait to return. Had one maintence issue that was promptly dealt with, even on a holiday!

We stayed for 10 days in April at this stunningly beautiful villa. The view is beyond amazing, I'd say one of the best on the whole property. Parking your vehicle is a breeze as every wing has their own little bunch of parking spaces. You are right next to the hiking trails, one of the private beaches, and just a short walk to the Kapalua spa (we recommend going there for a day and getting the Maui Romance package as it is life changing.) The villa itself is super clean, pretty dated- But who goes to Maui for the room? No one. We are definitely coming back without a doubt!! Our first night there we went to Sansi Sushi (Best sushi around after 10pm it's 50% off & a karaoke bar.) Great people watching place! We met this lady at the bar who lives in Maui half of the year who gave us a plethora of recommendations!! We were so thankful for all of her recommendations, as they NEVER disappointed! Sea House restaurant for breakfast, go EARLY if you want an Oceanside seat sit at the bar and hopefully you will be served by Darlene. She is an absolute sweetheart! My fiancé adopted an addiction to the crab omelette. They have an outstanding happy hour that starts at 2:00 pm with the most amazing Mai-tais you will ever taste. Below the restaurant there is a private beach that is really secluded from tourism, and the hefty winds Maui can produce at times. If you are considering this as your next vacation, definitely do so as you will not be disappointed! Marty was so amazing to work with throughout the entire process:)

I had a wonderful time and expearience at this location, the view was super, little windy but this was fine for me. The location was excellent. took many walks and just enjoying being on vacation. I could not have picked a better place or location.

Very nice, ocean facing property that provided peace and quiet as well as walking distance access to 3 bays (wave, swimming & snorkeling, running trails, and a gym. Condo it self had a couple of maintenance issues, but the property managers were very responsive, and they were likely one time only issues.

Excellent location, the unit really needs to be updated-a regular necessity in humid climates. New appliances, including washer-dryer, new matching furniture, new king mattress, bedskirt, and living and dining furniture.

I can't think of a more beautiful place than our KBV location. The apt. itself is fairly small and bedroom doesnt have a view...the only not 10/10. But the VIEW from your living room is the best on Maui. The waves breaking on the rocks outside your balcony you can almost feel the spray. Jake at Aloha Villas was GREAT to work with and very accomodating. The "neighborhood" is quiet and very upscale. Truly, KBV is legendary on the island. We could see the women's surfing championship from our condo!!! No wireless but has an ethernet cable. We have been blessed to stay at some beautiful locations around the world...but this one I would rate as the number one location. Enjoy and thank you KBV and Jake! Mahalo

Need more silverware. fluorecent light above alcove sink did not work. Also another fixture above the other sink did not work. probably needs balast as I changed the bulbs and they still did not work. Two inch foam bed cover not as good as a new matress. There was a nice supply of personal items, paper towels, soap, toilet paper, dish soap. Possibly several larger skilletts and spatulas. Fridge ice maker needs attention . it would stick open and freeze up. Wifi wireless had to be reset every other day. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed the condo.

Just a couple of things I noted. I did stay in the location in November of 2012, I found the easy reclainer was still broken. The draps were still damaged and not fixed. The bed cover and sheets had stains on them, should be replaced. We had couple repair people fix the frig upon first day checked in. Could have been planned better before I checked. even though these items are stated. my stay was perfect. I just love the location and view. I would come back again. Just a suggestion, maybe correct the chair and draps and replace the bed covers.

While we enjoyed Maui and Kapalua Bay, the team worked cohesively to ensure any requests were taken care of. 30b1 had the best location. If you were any closer you'd be on the ocean. You could see turtles from the balcony in the ocean. The coastal trail had adventurers go by periodically - it was always fun to watch their photo opps. Watched the sunset from the balcony, enjoyed the stars at night along with the calming sound of the ocean. The unit could use some TLC - newer carpet in living area or tile, bathroom update BUT the location beats all that - ocean front. All the baby items AVV provided ensured the baby was well taken care of. In the grand scheme of things, the location at Kapalua Bay and professionalism of the AVV team, ensured that we enjoyed every moment of our time relaxing in Maui. Thanks AVV!! We're big fans!

This place was wonderful! The best photos I got of the whales came from this condo. I would highly recommend this place. It was quiet, clean and in very good condition. Being so close the beaches was really nice. The walk is only a few minutes and gorgeous. We really loved this place!

The property is beautiful. We loved the views, golf course and walking paths. Working with Marty and Vicki was very helpful. Both ladies answered our questions promptly and with kindness and understanding.

We recently spent 15 days at the Kapalua Bay Villas and you can count on our return! We spent 15 days here 3 years ago of our honeymoon...this is our island home away from home! It has everything we need and more! Not only do we love staying in a condo and having the amenities of home, the view is the best on the island! The amazing rocky shores of West Maui are yours for your entire stay! You are literally steps away from amazing, unique rocky trails leading you right to the oceans edge! The crashing waves, ocean pools, turtle watching, and cliffs you see in pictures are your personal paradise for your entire stay! Walking the trails and sitting outside watching the waves is an activity in itself! Some days we returned to our condo just to do that! You're a trail away from a white sand beach too! We have visited friends in neighboring condos and they didn't have the same views or trails we did and they were close by! Kapalua Bay Villas really is the best view on the island! We did a helicopter ride and saw all the shores of West Maui and they honestly have the best location! The condo was clean! Had all the things we needed, we made lunch and dinner several times too! We had a toddler with us this trip and management helped us with everything we needed! We had a high chair and roll away bed waiting for us! They also can provide cribs, pack and plays etc for smaller infants too! We will use Aloha Vacation Villas for all our future trips to Maui! See you soon!

Spent 10 days vacationing in this condo. The Condo was spacious enough for two people. Nicely decorated and equipped with basic essentials needed. The lanai overlooked the ocean and provided a wonderful view almost to the west Maui mountains. Cooling trades kept the dining and living room quite comfortable. Early morning rainbows spanned the eastern sky. The tour guide books which were provided came in handy. You will need a car during your stay to get around. Great restaurants nearby; the "Pineapple Grill" and "The Plantation House" on the Kapalua Golf Course were excellent. The Honolua Store nearby was great for picking up supplies or even stopping for a bite to eat. The pool was close to the condo and never crowded. If you're looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy your Maui vacation, this is it.

Great location

It's difficult to surpass the location as a vantage point for whale watching. The only drawback that kept the location from getting 5* is w a stream of walkers on the Coastal Trail (great if you are out for a walk, less exciting if you are sitting on the balcony). The management was very caring and responsive, something which kept the annoyances of aging interiors which receive a lot of abuse from the salt air from becoming a frustration. The bedroom is nothing that will excite you: the low grade mattress an owner installed years ago is covered by a thick piece of soft foam, the Venetian blinds leave about a !+ inch gap at the sides and the location of paths in the back of the bedroom enable you to tune into the conversations of other guests who may be marching by during resting hours. To sum up: We will return.

The view from this unit is amazing and is the real draw of staying here. Every time we looked out the window we could see whales and the constant crashing of the surf was hypnotizing. The unit was clean and well stocked with the appliances, etc that we needed however, some general maintenance is required. The phone did not work during our stay. Once management was notified, they were quick to respond but were still unable to have the phones fixed during our stay. We made the best of it but it was somewhat inconvienent and did mean that we missed out on using the resort shuttle.

This was an excellent place to stay in terms of location, accessibility, and quality of the condominium. The view of sunsets and the ocean from the balcony was wonderful! The one signficant downside was that it is hot and there is no air conditioning. The breezes and fans are nice, but they have a hard time overcoming July sun through large west facing windows. It would be a 5 star with air conditioning.

Helpful and available to our concerns and requests.  The view was the best.  Having stayed on the property previously we knew were we wanted to stay and Jake graciously accommodated us.

Jake was the best and we will come back to him next year.

We loved the location and would stay there again. Our first villa was beautiful but not very clean. In addition the furnishings were well worn. Our second villa was much cleaner but the furniture was also well worn. We requested a toaster as ours didn't work but never received one. The pool and the grounds were immaculately well maintained. We certainly would stay at the villas again. We own vacation rentals and realize that keeping our rentals clean is of the utmost importance for our guests.

This is our second stay but we found the bathroom had black mold on the tiles, the fans were dusty and the rose colored chair in the living room not very nice. Also, there was no dish soap to hand wash dishes - I did buy some and left it in the unit. Also there seems to be lost of corrison on the outside decking - I am sure that is hard to stay on top of. I am sure all of the above can be taken care of with a little effort. The location is our favorite on the Island but we would want the unit a little cleaner on our arrival next time. This place was wonderful! The best photos I got of the whales came from this condo. I would highly recommend this place. It was quiet, clean and in very good condition. Being so close the beaches was really nice. The walk is only a few minutes and gorgeous. We really loved this place!

The mattress was very soft, had a visible sink in place in the middle. One of us had to sleep on the sofa. I would suggest not having a glass coffee table or kitchen table. When our grandchildren came to see us (they were in another condo) had to be very careful they didn't get hurt. Otherwise everything was great. Beautiful view.

Great Condo, great location - really allows you to "get away" with all the comforts of home - except the ocean is right in front of you!!
