Kapalua Bay Villa 34B2

We have been coming to Maui for over 25 years and always feel restored and rebalanced. This property supports wellness in so many ways, from the especially comfortable beds and pillows to the ocean waves you feel you can almost reach out and touch. It is the perfect location if you like watching the seashore and taking coastal walks. We appreciated that the local shop had a matching fund for donations for their staff affected by the Lahaina wildfires. There is so much to love about this area and so much support to continue to provide to the local people, who continue on their own healing and restorative journeys. Mahalo nui loa

It's a beautiful condo right on the ocean in a luxury condo community with multiple pool complexes (one just 100 feet from the front door). The furniture is modern and clean, and the kitchen has all the amenities you might need. The only thing to consider is the fact that the master bedroom is in a loft, which limits its privacy (noise from the living room is easily heard in the MBR and vice versa). Also, there are no blinds on the MBR patio windows, so the MBR becomes quite bright at sunrise (around 6 am). These aren't downsides but just something to be aware of. Again, it's a beautiful condo and we would stay there again.

The views from this unit are incredible! We couldn’t have been happier with the unit as a whole. Doesn’t have an outdoor eating area but is in close proximity to everything.

This is our second March break in this unit. We have stayed in about 7 different units in KBV and this one is our new favourite. The view from the main sitting area and upstairs loft bedroom is incredible. The bathrooms and kitchen have been updated periodically so nothing feels worn out or dated.

The pictures don't do this villa justice. It has an unbeatable view from the balcony with plenty of place to sit and enjoy. The rooms are huge and the bathrooms are even bigger! We are already planning our next trip back to stay at this villa!

We loved the convenient, unobstructed view of our rental. The rental was clean & well taken care of. It was really nice to have beach towels & beach chairs too.

This property was lovely. However, I was quite disappointed because on two separate occasions the master bathroom upstairs flooded because of a stopped up pipe. This required us to be inconvenienced for hours on two separate occasions during our stay, both at tiimes when we had appointments and needed to get ready. It caused our possessions to get flooded first with toilet water and then with regular water. Once it was on the weekend and they did not guarantee that they could get someone to repair til the next day, but they did, When I suggested that I should get a credit on my bill of some sort, I was told that I should expect such things as they do happen. I am a vacation rental owner in the lower 48. I felt this was irresponsible on the management part, IF this happens at my unit, I definitely offer concessions to my customer and I don't charge $695.00 a day to stay at my place. For that price, there definitely should have been concessions made.. My unit is not Hawaii, I understand that. But I should have been given a decent refund for this inconvenience. I felt like that was in poor business taste and judgement and for that reason will not rent from this company again.

Overall a beautiful Villa. Views were outstanding! Two issues: Window dressings in both downstairs bedroom and kitchen were not functioning.

The unit is nicely furnished, it was very clean. Property manager was prompt on inquiries, The upstairs bedroom and sitting area is just wonderful. And of course you cant beat the view. We would stay here again except for the wind. It was not a breeze, it was really windy.

Wonderful condo and great location. Views were spectacular. We could here the ocean every night laying in bed. Would definetly book here again.

The condo was/is beautiful and in a wonderful location. Extremely well kept -- and while we understood it to be one in which the owner uses with frequency, it truly appeared as such.

We were happy to be up a level rather than on the ground floor - better views and a little distance from the path of fellow tourists. The villa was pristine and the kitchen very well equipped for snacks and meals.

Loved the unit. The unit is clean, well maintained and well equipped with extras including 4 nice beach chairs an umbrella and some snorkeling equipment. Unfortunately it was rainy and windy the entire stay and the over splash from the ocean left a film on the window. If it had not been for the weather, the view is fantastic and unobstructed.

The villa was absolutely beautiful and the view was amazing. We arrived at night so was not able to get a view of the outside until the next morning and it was breathtaking . The only problem I had was ants in the upstairs bathroom, I called Jake and he sent someone right out to spray however that did no good so the upstairs vanity was not usable.

Overall I was very pleased with the villa and we are already making plans to return and would like to book the same villa.

Amazing views, great location!

Just as pictured and the views are pretty spot on. Great location. You get sunrise and sunsets and added Maui rainbows towards Molokai in the morning. Easy access to two beaches by foot and a short 15-20min drive to Lahaina.

Wonderful place with all the amenities you could ever need. Awesome, awesome place.

Pristine Villa in the ultimate location. Our family of four (two teenagers) were delighted to stay here. Amazing whale watching from the balcony and perfect location from pool and Kapalua beach which is our favourite. Our teens loved swimming with the turtles every day on our vacation at Kapalua beach. Villa was fully stocked with backpack beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels and even a goofy trolley that made the kids laugh and our job easier getting everything to the beach! Very nicely renovated with many added details to make your stay comfortable. We had a party of 9 that we entertained very comfortably on a couple nights in the spacious dining and lounging areas. Our only disappointing part of our trip was not being able to book the same villa over Dec. but we are definitely staying in Bay Villas! And look forward to coming back to this same villa soon! The property managers were fantastic and quick to respond with a battery for the safe the morning of our arrival. Vicky was so friendly and accommodating during our booking reservations and stay. Thank you for a fabulous trip!

From beginning to end, it took over 16 hours door-to-door for my family and me to get to Maui. So, as the one who booked our vacation home for my husband and 3 children, I was crossing my fingers that we would walk into the home and find that it was the way it appeared on line. Thank gosh, it was exactly as pictured! This condo was clean, had a perfect location, was spacious, and had very comfortable beds. My only bit of constructive criticism is that I would have appreciated it if a bottle of Windex were left at the property for me to use to clean up the windows during our stay. They did get somewhat "messy" from the little bit of rain we had. All in all, though, this was a great place to stay and met all of my expectations after our very long journey. Also, the property manager - Jake Jacobs - allowed me to text him with any questions I had and he responded promptly, clearly and completely via text on each occasion.

The apartment had all the amenities we needed and then some. It was spacious, beautiful and very clean.

We spent more time sitting, looking at the ocean than any other activity!

The Villa was even more beautiful than we expected! The views are amazing! Everything you need is in the villa! Aloha Vacations was a great company to work with, I highly recommend them! Both Marty & Vickie were helpful & knowledgeable, very easily accessible as well! Would definitely rent from them again! Just can't say enough wonderful things about our stay!

Bay Villa 34b2 was an absolutely wonderful location with beautiful views of the Kapalua Coast and the island of Molokai across the channel. From the moment we walked in the door we were extremely impressed with the view and setting of the villa. Going up the spiral staircase to the 2nd bedroom was like adding another great surprise to an already impressive living situation. Jake Jacobs' crew was extremely responsive to any issues involving the internet connection or anything else we needed. My advice: If you can afford it... GO! I would love to experience 34b2 again! My family and I travelled all over the island, but it was always a pleasure to return "home" to the villa. The parking area is on the same level as the villa so going over the bridge made the luggage transfer very easy. There is a full kitchen if you want to cook, but if not there are a number of great restaurants within a mile or two. We loved the whole experience. Thanks Jake.

Our family of 4 stayed at the Bay Villa over the Thanksgiving break (2014). The location of this villa is absolutely fantastic and the views are stunning! You can just sit and stare out into the ocean as long as you want and you may even spot a whale or at least a rainbow. The trail just outside the condo takes you to Oneloa beach as well as DT Fleming beach - both of these are just gorgeous! If you go in the other direction, you end up on Kapalua beach and then Napili beach.

The unit itself provides a comfortable space for your stay. It's quite clean. The kitchen is equipped with all that you might need including Ziploc bags, plastic wraps, foil (that is very thoughtful). The beds in both rooms are comfortable. The unit is decorated modestly. The pictures look better and brighter than the actual place probably because of the lighting. There were only a couple of minor things - the unit is enclosed in massive windows, which provides great views from each room. However, since the unit is so close to the ocean, the windows barely stay spotless. Professionals did come out to clean the windows while we were there, but it didn't help much because of the constant spray from the ocean and light rain. We kept washing down the living room windows with the provided hose so we could see clearly. The other thing that would've been really nice is to have a mid-week cleaning rather just linen change. Most timeshares provide such service for a week long stay.

This was a great unit for our vacation. We have stayed in at least 6 different villas in Kapalua and this one is one of the best. The views were great and we had a short walk to Oneloa or Kapalua Bay for beaches. The pool was hardly ever busy, so it was a private pool for us many afternoons. The ac worked great which can sometimes be an issue in the villas. The views are spectacular of Molokai and the Kapalua coastline.

Our family of four (two children ages 4 & 8) stayed here for a week in June 2014. Everything about this unit and its location was ideally suited for us. We loved the ability to do meals (and drinks!) at home, in a laid back environment, with amazing 180-degree sweeping views of the ocean. None of the crowds, lines, or craziness that often accompanies “resort” vacations.

The views from the unit are really astounding. The unit has another unit below it, so it’s more like the 2nd and 3rd floors of a house. This really makes for the great views as illustrated in all the photos. Oh, and while we were there, we experienced views of BOTH sunrises and sunsets. Wow.

Beach access was excellent. A five minute walk to the South brings you to the famous Kapalua Bay. Calmer waters here made this a bit better for snorkeling with kids, but the beach got pretty busy each day... However, a five minute walk to the North brings you to Oneloa Bay, which has more waves and surf, but the whole family ended up enjoying this beach much more. More “Sqft of Sand per person” so to speak. The snorkeling there was also good on the left side, but with more surge, so best for stronger more experienced swimmers.

Oh, and as tempting as it may be to buy one of the awesome beach umbrellas at Costco... The unit now has two of them. They work exceedingly well on the beach!

Kitchen amenities were also reasonable (microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, blender, knife set). Moreover, the unit has a small washer/dryer stack on the second floor. Being able to do a daily “rinse and spin” of our four swimsuits and rashguards really was very handy!
