Kapalua Bay Villa 35B3

This is our second visit to Kapalua Vacation Villas and again it did not disappoint. The villa was well appointed with modern kitchen and a range of appliances, clean and spacious bathrooms and comfortable living areas. The villa also fronts into the coastal walk which made it easy to get to and from the beach. A nice surprise was the inclusion of beach chairs and an esky/cooler. Always so nice to relax and self cater after busy Waikiki!

This stay was made with Aloha!  Easy walks to the beach and many wonderful coves.  We boogie board with the kids every day and also saw sea turtles and local OAU nocturnal birds that nest in conservation area in front of the condo.  Easy drive to restaurants, private great views and beaches...local fruits a delight local mangoes pineapples and papayas at your table during every breakfast with an ocean view. We saw rainbows every day from our balcony.

We stayed here in Kapalua for two glorious weeks in early January and had a wonderful time. I first want to commend Aloha Vacation Villas management for doing such a great job over the last two years dealing with the issues of the pandemic especially scheduling. Our stay was originally booked two years ago for a trip January 2021 but by November 2020, Covid put a halt to that trip. Aloha gladly moved us to this year but then an issue came up with a conflict when the owners also wished to stay in the villa part of that time. Vicki was able to work with them to adjust both of our stays so we were each happy. This is only one example of surely many adjustments that has taken place in their business. We have been staying in Kapalua Bay Villas for many years now and love the tranquil atmosphere the low rise smaller buildings present and the beautiful views that are presented of the ocean, Molokai, and the WHALES. Seeing whales is the primary reason we come this time of year and they never disappoint...warmer weather doesn’t hurt either! This villa has by far one of the best unobstructed views anywhere here, and we have stayed all over in the Bay Villas. There was never a moment that looking out at the ocean would not have some type of activity presenting itself to us. We found the villa to be exceptionally clean (including the windows) when we arrived and stocked with plenty of towels and paper products to use as needed. Housekeeping also came twice during our two week stay to change the sheets and towels...a nice plus! Unfortunately this villa is tired and in need of a refreshing. New paint throughout and furniture in the living and dining rooms are badly needed, the couches and dining room chairs are uncomfortable to sit on for very long. Thankfully I have learned that the owners are in the process of having the condo repainted and new living and dining room furniture have been purchased which should be a huge improv

We stayed at this villa for 2 weeks in July. The views and grounds were lovely. The a/c in the downstairs bedroom wasn't working and the staff was super responsive in bringing in a mobile cooler. Of note, the "master bedroom" is an open loft and it's not very quiet if other folks are moving around the house. Overall, the villa was satisfactory. It's definitely tired and could use a refresh. For the amount of money it costs, I would have expected the state of the villa to be in much better shape. The beds were comfortable but the furniture in the living area was not. I would absolutely return to Kapalua and even rent through Aloha Vacations, but I'd pass on renting this villa again.

This condo is in the perfect location sandwiched between the montage and ritz. It’s quiet and the views are stunning. We really enjoyed our stay!

As everyone has said,the views from this condo are simply amazing. You will never get tired of looking out the window or sitting on the patio. The condo is comfortable and clean. The location is ideal for walking to the beach to swim or snorkel. Before booking, it's good to know the bedroom upstairs is a loft. I believe the bedroom downstairs has two twin beds put together so the length of the bed is not as long as a queen or king bed. That wasn't a big deal for us, but could be if you're over 6 feet tall. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning!

What makes this property even more special than the surrounding Bay Villas is that it is the furthest condo on the point giving us a 270 degree view of the ocean and Linai. You get both the sunrise and the sunset. The condo itself is really well appointed with plenty of nice dishes and cooking items to use the kitchen effectively. Plus, 3 bathrooms so that everyone gets some privacy. And the desk in the loft with the three sided windows is a perfect place to get some work done (if you have to) without feeling like you\'re working. Loved this place!

Excellent! Bay Villa 35B3 is one of the best in the complex. We not only saw whales, they came so close to shore we could hear them take breathes sitting on the patio. Everything worked fine in the unit. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. The A/C and fans kept the place nice and cool after our long walks around Kapalua. Marty and the team at Aloha Vacation Villas were very helpful over the past year with rescheduling due to covid-19. The unit itself was very clean. The view from this unit not only overlooks Ironwoods beach but also sunsets toward Lanai. I highly recommend this unit.

The condos and grounds are very well maintained and the reservation, check-in and check-out process was very professional and easy. Location is fantastic - beach access, several pools and easy walk to Montage and Ritz Carlton amenities. But most impressive was the responsiveness of property management to crisis - on our last day there was a major leak from our condo into the condo below requiring shut off of our water. Property management moved us into a beautiful replacement condo -very timely and smooth process -almost no down time or inconvenience to our stay. Thank you!

We rented this unit for two weeks and had a fantastic time! It’s well equipped and beautiful location. You get to see the sunrise and sunset right from the front deck. Also had chairs, snorkels and beach towels. Be sure to hike to the cliffs near the villa for a swim and exciting jump off the rocks.

Location was perfect, could watch the beautiful evening sunsets and see morning rainbows.

Great location, right on the coastal trail walking distance to 4 beaches, Napili, Kapalua, Oneola and DT Fleming. Can whale watch from the place or short walk out to edge of coastal trail. Kitchen with full amenities, pool and tennis courts. Incredible windows with great views and balcony situated to protect from wind.

Two bedrooms, both with attached full bathrooms. One of the master bedrooms is loft style and overlooks the living room. Also additional bathroom with shower which we used to rinse off after snorkeling at Kapalua.

Honolua general store is a short drive from property and has nearly all essentials needed for stay. Easy drive to Kaanapali and Old town Lahaina for additional restaurants or shopping.

Overall, place was fully equipped with plenty of space for a family of 4. Would definitely stay on this property again on next trip to Maui.

This was a great/lucky choice. We poured over all the VRBO listings and eventually just took a chance and booked this one. After all, you never really know exactly what you're getting.

The management company is fast responsive and the place is beautiful, right on the beach. View is fantastic, location is convenient, place is professionally clean. Kitchen is spacious and well equipped with nice cooking pods and pans, pillows and sheets r hotel grade. 10 of the 10 stay.

The view from this unit is amazing. 180 degree unobstructed view of the ocean and the dramatic Kapalua coastline. If you love whales, this condo is for you. Lovely open space.

Appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel sets and plenty of beach towels.

Booking, arrival instructions and departure was effortless. The unit was clean, very comfortable and was ideal. Three improvements would be confusion about smoking. The tenant in the unit below smoked on the lunai and insisted she had it in writing that she could. The hairdryer needs to be replaced. And the kitchen could do with new cooking utensils including tongs. The views were glorious!!!!!

The villa was great and the location was great! However, the upstairs television did not work. We had to be present for Spectrum to come and try to fix the problem - this was unsuccessful as apparently the wiring was faulty. Also, we were required to be present for the replacement of a bathroom fan.

Facility is older but looked to be recently updated generally acceptable. Windows were very dirty as were all window seals. Hindered beautiful views. Tv in upstairs bed room did not work was told it would be fixed was not. Entry gate was terrible worked less than 50%. Kitchen sink faucet does tot turn. AC is very good. Overall I recommend. Not perfect but would probably rent again. CBD

This is a beautiful 2-br condo right up next to the ocean, with amazing views of Moloka'i and short walks to some amazing beaches. You're also close to the blowhole and heart-shaped rock, and all of the West Maui beaches. There's a pool right outside the entrance to the condo as well. Two things to note about the property: first, the upper level bedroom is fully open to the living room below (open floor plan) so plan accordingly - second: while there is a washer/dryer in the unit, it's seen better days and did a number on some of our clothes, so use caution.

This rental property was everything we had hoped for and more. The photos do not do it justice. Breathtaking 180-degree views of the Kapalua coastline, Maui channel, Molokai and Lanai. Nicely furnished and decorated. We are very picky travelers with high standards, and we will book this property again!

The unit was very nice, clean and well equipped and the view was phenomenal. We were not aware that the second master bedroom was in a loft without full privacy - you couldn't see up there but also couldn't use the living room before/after people went to bed. Maybe this is clear in the description and I missed it. Luckily, we were with very good friends and it worked out find. My only other suggestion would be for there to be more information about the resort area in the room. We walked out the first day and ended up along the rocks, missing completely the path to the beautiful snorkeling beach in front of the Montage. It would have been nice to have had some material orienting us to the area in the unit.

The place is as we visit last time. We like everything about the unit. The location is great for us since we like this part of the island, not too much not too little, just about right.

This unit is beautiful! We two couples thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations. Having the gate and door key codes, nicely eliminated the need for keys. Property management quickly came to assist with the difficult sliding glass doors. The upstairs door had a quick fix, but more was needed for the downstairs lanai door and we struggled with it all six days. We had wind most of the time, which kept the temperature comfortable, but blew the lanai furniture around.

There were two issues with the property 1) Presence of cockroaches in the house. I disposed of three cockroaches in the one week period. 2) The master bedroom pillow case appeared to be previously used. Upon arrival, we notices 4 long hairs on one of the pillowcases in the upstairs bed. Otherwise, it was a beautiful property.

We spent one week in this property. The property is very well equipped, very clean and good located.

We\'ve stayed in the Kapalua Bay Villa\'s before, the location is great but I would hesitate to stay in this unit again. Most disturbing is the cockroach problem!!! Tile floors needed mopped, mold growing on the kitchen window trim and the downstairs bedroom needs attention: Dirty hand prints on the curtains, the pillow shams were stained, globs of dried grout on the tile floor and a dirty rug by the bed. We made use of the cleaning supplies, bought and used roach spray and washed our own sheets when there was no linen change supplied. We did our best to make lemonade out of the situation, I hope this unit receives a deep cleaning before too long! Mix a drink and head out on the patio, the view is wonderful!

The villa was a perfect place to spend our family holiday. The location could not be beat, it was so nice to wake up looking at the ocean every morning and hearing the waves at night. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils so we ate a majority of our meals on the patio overlooking the water.

We had a fantastic experience with Aloha vacation villas. The villa was awesome and the views impressive!

This is the perfect place for a Hawaiian getaway and even more beautiful than the pictures elude. Location is perfect for easy access to activities including snorkeling, dining, shopping, etc. Views are breathtaking! Hiking trail is just behind the villa which takes you along the beautiful coastline. Also, access to a private beach within a few minute walk. Could not have enjoyed our stay more and we will definitely be coming back again!

Our 10 days in Maui was a wonderful yet exciting experience. The Villa was excellent! The minor isses (coffee pot, sliding door) were resolved immediately by the professional management staff. Our Villa, 35B3 was beautiful with a perfect view. Morning sunrises and evening sunsets all from the balcony where we spent most of our time. I highly recommend it.

Going back next year to this same rental unit. We loved the house and the location. Nice accommodations and furniture. Nice size kitchen with plenty of dishes for cooking. Reported 2 issues -- front door latch and AC in downstairs were not working properly. Both fixable issues. Highly recommend.

Awesome time. Amenities and concierge were extremely helpful. One of the best vacation I've had. Would definitely return for our next trip.

We've been coming to Maui for many years but never rented at Kapalua. Unit 35B3 is perched near the ocean with a magnificent view. In fact, from the dining room, there is a 180 degree Pacific Ocean panorama. Both bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was fully functional. Everything worked as promised (air conditioning, washer/dryer, etc.) and the unit was clean and ready-to-go when we arrived. The location is great -- a short walk to the beach, general store, and restaurants. We had a few glitches with the front door lock, and the management was extremely responsive. I'd definitely return.

Location made it easy to walk to Kapalua Bay, Montage Spa and the grounds around the area. Kitchen would have been just that much better if there was a good set of knives and a pair of scissors readily available. But that was a small issue! Overall, it was a lovely place to stay.

We had a great time staying at Kapalua Bay Villa 35B3. The location is utstanding with world class snorkeling near by and great resteraunts. The Villa was as good as it looked in the photos and the management was very helpful in delivering items shipped from the mainland that we mistakenly left behind. We would definitely consider a return trip
