Kapalua Golf Villa 19V1

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was beautiful, fantastic view. Many of our favorite beaches are close by. The Kapalua market near by is well stocked, has a great deli and very friendly staff.

Delightful again.

We were very impressed with its location and pleased with the villa. Simple setup with kitchen, two bathrooms, washer/dryer, and comfy king size bed. Perfect for two.

Communication with management and maintenance team was a pleasure and hassle-free. They were very responsive.

We will be using this villa management for our next trip.

We had a great stay. The room is as pictured. The AC works great. The shuttle was a great feature. To use the shuttle you just call 5 minutes before you are ready and they come pick you up and drop you off at the beach or Kapalua restaurants. The walk to the beach is about 10-15 minutes downhill but then the way back is uphill.

We were very pleased with the condo. Although small, it is just as it appeared on the website. They provided the niceties such as extra TP, enough towels for the entire stay, laundry soap and the Kapalua shuttle is the best! I would definitely choose this property again.

Loved the condo. Perfectly appointed and the space is so efficient. My fourth time at Kapalua villas a nether best, views are perfect, pool and store convenient. We loved walking trails and hitting golf balls. Will try to stay again next time in this condo.

I have been to the Hawaiian islands many times and never had such a bad experience. Firstly, the decor is outdated , the view is even further in the distance, air conditioner door sensor broke(1 st day within minutes) , the kitchen is not that nice, all lanai’s weren’t furnished, many rules, no pool access and truly over priced. With all being said there’s 1 more thing... we had several cockroaches from day one which I’ve never experienced before on the islands and I was told that’s normal. NOT TRUE! This prompted my wife to clean like crazy and that’s not what a new bride should be doing on the honeymoon . Yes our honeymoon was a bust and for the price of this horrible location never will I stay there again. The lady that manages this property tried her best and so helpful. We will give Maui another chance but never here again. Hopefully the owner reads this review and understands this unit falls very short from average. Total false advertising here.

Excellent location within walking distance to beach and some restaurants. A short drive from Lahaina and many other beaches. The condo is well maintained and a decent size. The AC was quite cold, but there are instructions on how to turn it up. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need. The lanai is a good size and overlooks the golf course, ocean and Moloka’i. Birds are always chirping and flying around. A very relaxing location

Great condo! Beautifully maintained and vert comfortable, The view is spatular from the lani. It is well equipped wit everything you will need including beach gear. We enjoyed the pool, near by beaches and wonderful golf! We would love to return to this very special place.

Love the property and looked at the calendar to book another stay at this property in March but were scared off by the “No Refund” cancellation policy. Things are so uncertain what with Covid19 and the economy it’s just too big a gamble.

2 members of our family stayed in this condo and were absolutely delighted. From the lovely kitchen to the magnificent view, the unit didn't disappoint anyone!

Older than expected buy clean and very well located to everything we needed.

We are so appreciative of Aloha Vacation Villas in extending our reservation several times throughout the COVID pandemic. Upon our return, the condo was even cleaner than when we had stayed before. All the hard work in meeting the requirements to enter Hawaii were well worth it.

The condo was as advertised with a beautiful view, nice furnishings and several nice pools. The condo was nicely decorated and management was responsive. On the first night we noticed an attic light was on (we couldn’t access without a ladder), I notified management and it was immediately fixed. The condo seems to have been renovated within the last several years and is decorated very nicely. The weather was at times less than perfect so we did have to spend a good bit of time in the condo, which revealed two issues that might deserve attention. First, the sofa is not really comfortable. Both my wife and I noticed this without the other saying anything, so it is noteworthy. Second, there is a fairly large area rug at the entrance to the condo (probably to minimize carpet stains). That darned rug just will not stay affixed to the carpet. My wife and I both tripped over that rug at least once a day (usually more). Thank goodness we’re both nimble, if we were older or less coordinated, either of us could have fallen several times. These were two small inconveniences that didn’t impact our overall enjoyment of the condo. It was really a great experience overall!

We recently stayed 10 nights in this lovely unit (our 2nd time). It was as good as we remembered - pictures are accurate. There is a direct view of the golf course and the ocean not only from the lanai but also from the living room - absolutely beautiful!

Furniture is comfortable and we slept very well in the bed (super comfy).

We are avid cooks and the owner is generous with supplying a variety of spices and even coffee filters! We have stayed in other places and you are lucky if you get salt and pepper! These extra items may not seem like a big deal but the cost of having to buy them yourself can add up quickly as prices here is much higher than back home. Kitchen is well stocked with plenty of pots and pans, cooking utensils and even a rice cooker.

Kapaula is a gorgeous resort. The Honolua store is within an easy walking distance of this unit to get lattes, milk tea with boba and of course Spam masubi along with other yummy things if you don't feel like cooking.

Overall, you will not be disappointed with staying in this unit. It is NOT one of those vacation rentals where it is a "bare bones" place - owner has thought of everything to make it comfortable for guests. Truly a 5 star unit in every way. We will definitely be back!

Great one bedroom condo. Convenient to many amenities, pool, golf and restaurants. Beautiful resort, can’t wait to return.

Kapalua is a world class resort. Beautiful location, amazing golf and an awesome condo for our stay. We played both the Plantation and Bay courses, so much fun and so many memorable golf holes. Dinner at both Taverna and the Plantation House restaurants were amazing. We can’t wait to return with the whole family.

Strange that we never talked to a human being in booking this or while at the property. Nobody seemed to be interested in how our visit was going. Nobody greeted us upon arrival, day of or morning after we arrived. Very quiet. Nice view. Every activity required a drive to get there. Pool was great except for the day that someone had turned off the heater. Then the pool became frigid.

We love this property unit! This is our 5th time staying at 19V1 and it is always clean, well organized and has everything we need and the view can’t be beat. The furnishing are nice and we especially like the kitchen. We’re looking forward to coming again in February, 2020, and staying for 2 weeks!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The views and quality of the condo are exactly like the photos show. The kitchen is stocked with anything you need - coffee filters, spices, plenty for light cooking. There is so much to walk to close by. My only negative would be the outdated furniture and the bed is a queen, not a king; but thankfully it was comfortable! We preferred booking through VRBO so we knew exactly what condo style/view we were getting - when you book through the Villas, you do not get to pick and sometimes get unhappy surprises. We were very satisfied with our stay!

Also this unit is a wonderful gold standard golf villa with a beautiful view. The villa has been remodeled with a great new kitchen and bathroom. Comfortable lighting - a pleasure.

We spent very good time in the beautiful nature of Kapalua freed from various stresses. We'll be back here again. We love Kapalua! ♡

Like this condo and location. It is our third stay at this unit.

Great location, clean condo, great access to beach, pools wonderful, grounds maintained very well, quiet and peaceful. Dryer did not work, beds need to be replaced, more dishes in kitchen would be helpful, faucets may need to be replaced.

We spent a week hear in July and had a great time! Here are what I would call the "pro's": - location: was an easy walk to Kapalua Bay, the Kapalua Bay Trail, Bay Course and resort restaurants (most, if not all of the places, were downhill - so, the walk back up was a bit of a hike but nothing crazy. - amenities: the condo has a fully stocked kitchen with all the essentials needed to prepare, cook and serve meals. You'll need to supply everything else. There's a closet on the lanai with boogie boards and basic snorkel gear and a couple coolers (we actually left one - didn't have room to take with us). There's a shuttle (free) that we used a couple times and a gold resort discount. - general condition: great, obviously a recent remodel - we were happy with the condition. The cons were minimal: - the bed, I'm sorry; but, this bed was horrible. For as much as I loved everything else, this bed was something we called the marshmallow -- zero support. Not that you should be using it much; but, the TV has very basic and limited channels.

We booked this Villa to celebrate our anniversary in Maui. I do wish that they had the kitchen necessities such as sugar, all other seasoning were there in the kitchen cabinet. The master bedroom was VERY HOT. The condo air can only be set to 73, and the air is not working in the bedroom so we had to have the fan on all the time, and my wife hates the fan on when we sleep but that was the only option. Construction workers start at 8am sharp working on the condos below us, and the one next to us with loud machines so there were no Sleeping in.

This is our second time staying here in this condo and hope to make it a third next year!!

We had another great experience staying at thisunit. This is our third year at this location. The ocean view is great. The kitchen is well appointed.

Overall stay was fantastic. The condo is located in a great location. However, the west / south west exposure is extreamley hot in the afternoon (could not access the lani from approx. 12:30 to 5:30 PM). What is recommended is a sun screen that would cover at least half of the lani, similar to other units located within the property. Overall cleanliness and condition of the unit was excellent, with the exception of stains on the carpet. Carpet cleaning or possibly replacement may be required. The kitchen also requires BBQ utensils, additional plates, bowls, wine glasses and cookie sheet. Vacation management staff were also excellent.

We loved staying in this property so much we rented it for another week before we returned home.

This is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed...and we typically stay in 4-star hotels. The location is perfect for anyone (like us) looking for the perfect blend of relaxation and Maui activities. It's fully-remodeled and stocked with great amenities. The resort has a free shuttle that will take you to any of the great(!) beaches, restaurants or other locations in the resort. We chose to walk, because the views are jaw-dropping and the air is bonkers-fresh...perhaps thanks to the massive quantity of Cook pines lining the roads and byways. Tip: there are some body boards and small beach toys in the closet on the lanai. The unit also comes with laundry detergent pellets and other handy consumables. Areas for improvement: as many others said, the bed is ridiculously soft...like a water bed without water (air?). Next the pull-out sofa is nice looking, but not really comfortable in either mode. Even so, this place is super nice!

Perfect condo for a golf week at Kapalua. Over the years we've stayed at 5 or 6 different condos on this property - this unit is extremely clean and modern - very nice. Fairway and ocean views make this a great place to stay! I would definitely book this condo again. 🙂

The Condo at Kapalua Golf Villa was exactly as described. The view was amazing. The kitchen was well appointed, we had everything we needed. It was extremely clean. We appreciated staff stopping by once a week to see if we needed any extra amenities. The grounds were beautiful and staff were extremely friendly and the location was unbelievable. We joined the Tennis Garden and were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. Will definitely be returning!!! Did NOT want to leave.

The unit has an amazing viewing, is very well furnished, very clean and is located close to many amenities. The only down side is the extream heat on the Lani, late in the afternoon. A table umbrella or fixed awning that could be dropped down would resolve the issue. This solution would also reduce the dependancy on the air conditioner and decrease associated energy costs.

Accurate property description, excellent location in golf villa property with beautiful view of Bay Golf Course, ocean, sunset and Molokai. Can easily walk to a number of restaurants for dinner, etc. The only reason we are not going back to unit 19V1 is because the king bed mattress is ridiculously soft, essentially like sleeping on a large pillow - almost feels like one could roll off the bed. Certainly not for anyone who likes or needs a firm bed. I don't care how expensive the said mattress was - it's not worth it!!

Thanks entire experience was seamless and the accomodation stunning. The kitchen was perfect. The views from the verandah heavenly and the quiet peaceful surroundings so appreciated. Highly recommend.

Just as advertised, updated, close to everything in west Maui, great views!!!

This was our first time renting via VRBO. I was a bit hesitant at first but I must say it was an excellent choice from start to finish. The condo was exactly what we expected and then some. The detailed information was bang on and very helpful. The amenities and the condo were perfect. Spacious, very clean and exceeded our expectations. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone interested and hopefully I will be back again one day soon.

The Condo is in a very nice location overlooking the Kapalua Bay Course. It is far enough back that the golf play doesn't disturb and it is high enough on the hill to get fabulous views of Lanai and Big Blue. The condo is nicely appointed and overall very comfortable. However the mattress on the King Bed is ULTRA SOFT, if you need support in your sleep this will not be the place for you. It is a bit baffling to me that someone would pick such a soft mattress for a rental property, but alas this is what you will have to sleep on.

Our two weeks in Golf Villa 19V1 was just amazing. The Villa was as described; well appointed and very clean for our arrival in late March 2016. It had all we needed for general meal preparation and eating - with enough for 4 places, even though we were only two. The villa sits amongst several similar properties in a well though out arrangement, giving us an elevated view of the golf course and coastline beyond. The nearby pools were convenient, well kept - and with functioning BBQs, which we took advantage of. We were lucky with weather, so enjoyed the Kapalua and Napili beaches, as well as several locations with access to the shoreline further North. The Villa did have beach equipment, so no need to bring chairs or umbrellas for the beach. Overall, management services were good; the access code provided in the paperwork did not work, but was resolved quickly by text and phone calls, specifically considering our late evening arrival time. As for restaurants - Merrimans was our choice in the area, with the best patio for enjoying the sunset. Seahouse was fine, but not as classy. The Gazebo is just what you need for the breakfast feast, but do follow the advice you read on their is great value and does get busy. We recommend a stay here - and would consider a return visit when we find ourselves in Maui again.

Spotless, nicely renovated unit. Kitchen fully equipped with new appliances and all the linens and towels you need. Beach chairs, some snorkel gear, a few umbrellas and two big boogie boards are in the closet on the deck. Property management was great at organizing the crib and high chair rental for our baby. There is no tub but we brought an inflatable yellow duck tub for bathing him and put it in the big shower. The unit is newly carpeted which was great for a crawling 8 month old. Some little ants in the kitchen so we just had to keep all fruit off the counter which was fine. The a/c would only go down to 73 which was a bit warm in the evening and there was something in the bedroom that triggered my husband's allergies (no apparent down bedding though and we removed all extra decorative pillows). Hairdryer needs replacing as it only blows cold air. Overall, a great spot between two pools in the complex and within walking distance to the Honolua store or the ritz for morning coffee (or a quick drive to Napili coffee). Try the amazing new Taverna restaurant at the Kapalua village center. Kapalua shuttle was also a great service. Would stay here again.

Staying in this golf villa was the perfect location for us. Beautiful views and whale watching from the lanai every morning was amazing! Close to beautiful beaches and just north of Kaanapali and Lahaina. Condo was very clean and had everything we needed, including beach and snorkel gear. There were 3 different pools onsite which were well maintained and quiet compared to some larger resort pools, so they were perfect for us. Also many great Restaurants close by either in walking distance or a short drive.

We enjoyed the unit very much. It was well appointed. The furniture and bed were very comfortable. The view of the ocean was spectacular. The next time we go to Maui, this will be my first choice for lodging!! The picture is very accurate. The boogie boards were very convenient. (My wife loves fresh flowers. Consider providing a vase.) Thank you Marty for our recent stay in Kapalua (December 3 to 17). The unit was really nice (the view was fantastic) and we enjoyed staying in the resort area. There was so much to do as well as great opportunities to just slow down and enjoy island time. We would not hesitate to stay in the unit again soon. Cheers from the 204.

We had a great 2nd trip to Maui. Decided to stay further North this time at the Golf Villas as that location was more private. The property was very well maintained and the condo unit was spotless. Newly updated with morning and evening sun. Spacious, with plenty of space for two. 3 pools were very close and convenient for our stay. We would have enjoyed a hot tub but really it's not necessary. Management was great. We had one concern and it was addressed right away. If you are looking for a clean quite place not too far from the action this is it!

When we arrive Golf Villa, we could not open the front door with the received passcode. We called the Manager to get the different passcode. We arrived before 6pm, therefore we were lucky. we borrowed the neighbor's cell phone. Golf Villa 19V-1 has good views and newly renovated with resonable price.

This villa is breathtaking. Great location, perfect views, and wonderfully decorated. My wife and I spent our 10th anniversary here and we will never forget. Hopefully we can return soon.

I wish I could give this villa a 5 out of 5. The photos are a true representation of how nicely this villa has been upgraded. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery, cutlery and kitchenware. The villa is clean, views are wonderful and air conditioning works well. Unfortunately the bed is really, really soft. Gave me, and my partner sore backs. We considered sleeping on the couch. Our other issue was with the shower's poor water pressure. Took a long time to wash soap off. Washing hair took forever. We stayed for 7 nights, so these were real pain points. Fix these up and you have a 5 star villa.

Wow, what a great stay. Thank you for the opportunity to use this villa on our stay in Maui. My wife and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary and this villa was perfect. It was a beautiful villa, spacious, nice furniture and appliances, very clean, great views, and so close to the pool and beach. The location of the villa was great, with just a 5 minute drive to Lahaina, for shops and dining. Thank You again, for making our trip a perfect vacation and we definitely will be back very soon and would love to stay here again.

I did not give this property a 5 for cleanliness as there were a couple of minor details that need to be addressed - overall it was in good shape when we arrived. An additional comment - this condo has a bed with a really really really soft mattress. If I owned this condo I would replace the mattress immediately to accommodate a wider range of occupants. This is a beautiful condo, just as the photos show online. The location is perfect and the views are spectacular. We really enjoyed our stay and will return.

Excellent experience. Nicely remodeled unit close to all of Kapalua's beaches. Bus service option was an unexpected perk. Exceptional view. Unit was well decorated, nicely upgraded, quiet, and included top quality kitchen with all necessary kitchen tools. Grounds were well cared for and pools were close and uncrowded. We had an excellent experience and would return without any reservation.

Rented this condo in Kapalua over New Years. Arrived after midnight only to find that the code for the door did not work. Had to wake the caretaker to get an alternate code to get in. Turned out none of the codes provided by the rental management company were accurate. The condo is older, but had a recent renovation. The kitchen had cooking supplies available, but unlike many other apartments we have rented, there were no staples like tin foil, cooking oil, etc., which makes things nice and convenient. The biggest issue for us was the bed. The bed was extremely soft and neither my husband or I was able to sleep the entire stay. One night we ended up using blankets on the living room floor and on the last night we finally tried the pull out couch which gave us our first real sleep of the entire stay. Overall, this property was well maintained and in a convenient location for accessing the local beaches.
