Kapalua Ridge Villa 0922

The location and configuration of the unit are 10/10. The place is very comfortable with easy access to the beach and trails. The furnishings are a bit dated, but accurately reflected in the photos. I would not hesitate to stay here next time.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful condo. Plenty of space with two bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and beautiful and beautiful views of the ocean. Very close to the pool so walking down to the pool was a breeze. The entire property is very well kept. The kitchen in the condo is excellent, but there are also two very nice and well maintained grills by the pool. The location is excellent, with golf and beaches within walking distance, and the wonderful Honolua store that was amazing - wonderful breakfast and lunch served there, along with several other key items (a great little market!). We had a small issue with a tub being clogged and it was fixed immediately. Excellent check in process and excellent communication from the time we booked to the time we left. Great supply of towels and soap and other essentials. And the washer and dryer in the condo worked extremely well!! While most of your time will likely be out and about exploring Maui, the down time and rest and relaxation will be perfect at this villa. It’s a great respite from the hustle and bustle of the larger resorts. Thank you for a wonderful stay on our dream vacation!

The condo was clean, property grounds were spotless. Condo needs some updating, carpet, couch but everything was clean and I’m particular. An amazing stay. Thank you to the owner. My favorite place was the lanai with the beautiful furniture and views. The beach was stunning just a hike going uphill. Highly recommend this condo.

We had been looking forward to our Maui vacation for quite some time. On day 3 (of 8) our power just went off around noon. We thought it was an outage and just went about our day not thinking much of it. Upon return the power was still out, yet everyone around us had power.

We called the number and then was told maintenance was coming and that was that. Maintenance has zero idea what to do and it became a blame game right away. “The person with the key needs to open the panel they are unreachable “

Then nothing . No instructions, help, solutions. We call the emergency line and a man that was clearly annoyed we were bothering him said the power would be restored tomorrow and can we make do without power for the night. We have 2 small children and no desire to “make do” on our vacation .

So, exasperated emergency man sends us to another condo. We take some belongings over there and leave the rest behind. The following day comes and it was silent at condo #1. Not one person came by to fix the electricity, Yet, no phone calls , instructions, apologies once again.

We called to inquire what we do now. Apparently the power will be back the NEXT day now. Somehow this has clearly become our problem and we had to seek out any instructions from the management company.

Next day, electricity man arrived and fixed the problem while we were out for the day. We return to get our things from condo #2 to take back to condo #1. We are locked out. Call exasperated emergency line man and are told we will receive a code good for one hour only to get our things out. Again, we feel like this is our fault:

Eventually, we get things back in power outage condo. However, the whole situation was handled so poorly I will never be back. Who needs this kind of treatment on a trip you were really looking forward to? Things happen, but an ounce of empathy would have gone a long way here.

Cannot stress enough how gorgeous the views are from the balconies. Ocean, mountains, islands, rainbows and beautiful landscaping. We love this development for the lushness and beautiful walk to the shops. It’s quite a large condo with bedrooms separated for privacy. ACs work great if needed and with 3 showers and bathrooms- nobody was fighting for room. Kitchen is well equipped and updated. The rest of the condo is a bit dated (older carpet and some of the doors need a bit of attention- nothing major), but love the retro Hawaiian style and tile in the age of gray decorating. Easy to walk anywhere and since it sits on the ridge, the views are stunning walking down to the highway. We purposefully pick this area to get that experience. Very easy check in. We love Kapalua because it’s gorgeous, not touristy like Ka’anapali and cooler than Wailea in the summer. Cannot wait to come back and enjoy Merrimans, The Honolua Store, The Gazebo, Miso Phat and all the walking paths going up the mountain and The Kapalua Trail.

We had a great stay at The Ridge unit 922. The views are spectacular. We would definitely stay here again.

The Kapalua Ridge Villas are a great choice for a relaxing Maui vacation! Great ocean views, sunsets and rainbows. Very quiet complex, and easy drive to Lahaina. Unit 922 was clean and comfortable but a little tired, especially the sofa and garden tub/showers in the en-suite baths. A table and chairs would have been great on the lanai! Mahalo!

Five family members stayed six nights at this beautiful condo in Kapalua Ridge. The condo was impeccably clean, and spacious. The grounds at Kapalua are beautiful, the ocean views are amazing, and the free shuttle made it so easy to get around to the many excellent restaurants and shopping there. The protected beach at Kapalua is wonderful for snorkeling. We had a perfect vacation! We didn't want to leave!

Absolutely stunning property. Magnificent views. Much more spacious than photos suggest. Only 6 steps to get into it. Kitchen so well equipped. All messages to management promptly answered. I read reviews suggesting it needs updating. I feel this is nonsense. It is very updated, comfortable, and has a tasteful, elegant feel.

A beautiful space for our family of four - two adults and two teens. The panoramic view, coupled with wonderfully comfortable furniture on the lanai, made for spectacular sunrises and happy hours. Kitchen is very well out-fitted, a useful thing since a lot of restaurants were still operating at low capacity. We loved being so close to the pool and a quick and direct shot to the beach as well. Bedrooms and beds were comfortable and three bathrooms helped us keep the peace. Only suggestion would be a bit more written info (e.g. garbage disposal, other pools, etc) since there's no in-person interaction with property mgmt with COVID. Kapalua is a spectacular property and this place is just wonderful.

Our stay in Kapalua was AMAZING. This property is situated in a perfect location.

First off the view is spectacular. You are treated to the island of Molokai, the rocks of Dragon's teeth, the forever green that this side of Maui offers and if you time your trip right, countless whales breaching in the beautiful blue ocean.

Secondly, if you travel with kids, the location is right next to the pool. This is great, as the walk there is within seconds. There was absolutely no noise from the pool and we left the patio doors open throughout the day. You can also walk to several of the best beaches on the island and if you golf, the world renown Kapalua course is at your finger tips.

This side of Maui offers many sight seeing opportunities and the location places you at a great advantage to see places many others are not.

As far as the house goes, it has everything you need. The beds are comfortable, the place is spacious and there are two balconies. There is a ton of closet space and dual sinks in two of the three bathrooms.

Aside from missing some spices and oils, the kitchen has everything you need to eat on site. However, in the Napili shopping center, there are two outstanding restaurants and Lahaina is not a far drive for many great options.

There are plenty of beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, boogie boards, towels and sand toys for your beach days. It can get a little wind on this side of the island, so plan to go to the beaches in the morning.

There is a dedicated place to park your car that is covered. We felt very safe at all times here.

All and all, I will definitely return to this property when I come back to Maui!!! Kudos to the property owners. Job well done.

Views look as good as or better than the photos. Breeze was nice being on the second floor. Overall the condo had everything we needed and the dishwasher and laundry soap was conveniently stocked. Good location for getting to beaches although it’s a definite walk up the hill to get back! Perfect for being away from the craziness that is Lahaina. Still close by if you want it.

Our family really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful vacation rental. Kapalua Ridge has quickly become our favorite spot in Maui. While the home could use some minor cosmetic upgrades, the overall condition of the rental is very good. We had everything we needed and more. Highly recommend a stay here, we'll very likely be back.

Our family of four had a fantastic four night getaway to Kapalua. The condo was great for 4 people (2 parents, 2 kids). There was even a 3rd bathroom and shower so the kids each had their own. We spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying the panoramic views. It is right above the pool and the noise of kids playing in the pool can be heard. But it didn’t bother me at all. We took advantage of the easy access to the kapalua coastal trail and spent a lot of time at Kapalua bay just south of the Montage. Very calm for swimming, great snorkeling (including sea turtles). I would recommend this condo for a relaxing retreat away from the hustle and bustle of kaanapali and Lahaina.

Great property and exactly as advertised. Very quiet area. The pool is directly below the building so some may be concerned about the added noise, but we did not find it distracting at all. Love Kapalua!! Thank you!

We did not go on this trip because of our family's concern over traveling due to the resurgence of COVID 19. We paid in full for this trip in Jan/Feb of 2020. Because of the outbreak, we were forced to cancel our entire trip. However Aloha Vacation Villas refused to compromise and we were forced to pay in full for a trip we didn't take. Neither the villa owner OR Aloha Vacation Villas offered any willingness to refund (even partially!) our rental fee. I will never deal with this property OR rental company again. I hope you don\'t either.

We have been with Aloha vacation villas a long time. Jake and his team always treated me like family . My experiences at their villas has been most relaxing worry free experience that any one could ever ask for . Thanks Jake ! You truly live by the ALOHA spirit!

We've stayed at various condos on The Ridge Villas at Kapalua and this is one of the nicer ones. Clean, decorated nicely, comfortable furniture and beds. Gorgeous view and lots of lounging on the lanais. We were short on towels when we arrived. I called the manager and we had a bag full in under 30 minutes. Would definitely stay there again.

Two issues with this unit: 1- It would enhance the stay if there were a dining set out on the lanai. 2. The master bath toilet should be replaced with an ADA toilet; the shower should be updated- there was mildew on the curtain liner.

Wonderful! The entire stay was amazing with beautiful views, amazingly clean rooms and the staff we worked with was very friendly and helpful. The only upgrade really needed is new living room couches.

The view from the condo was spectacular. Unfortunately, the week of our stay it was extremely windy and overcast but it didn't ruin the vacation.

Great property and view!

Fabulous views from the covered lanai! We spent a lot of time there and were treated with many rainbows. Very nice Spacious 2 bedroom space and quiet. Only complaint is sectional is tired and needs to be replaced. Plus coffee maker needs an upgrade. With a new couch I would go back in a minute .

Our Vacation Rental Experience at Ridge Villa #922 was outstanding. The unit was very comfortable and well furnished, the expansive views from the living room, master bedroom and the spacious lanai were great, and the location was terrific, within short walking distance to the beach and the Coastal Trail. We loved our stay and would definitely rent this unit again.

Villa was very clean and comfortable, had amazing views and was very spacious for the 4 of us. Only minor issues I had was that the villa could use a Keurig coffee maker and maybe a big screen TV (just to keep up with other rental options).

The perfect unit for our family of 6. The accommodations were beautiful and well maintained. Views were extraordinary! 9-22 overlooks pool, pavilion, and grills below, so it’s close to reach those areas. It also looks out over the sunrise and sunset vistas, with Molokai in full view. The Plantation Bay course is footsteps away. Air conditioning and breezes kept us cool during the August hot spell. Perfect location. Shuttle available to take you to all of Kapalua; especially to the beaches that are gorgeous.

Our experience at the Ridge was awesome, the condominium fit our family to perfection. The view of the ocean from the balcony is spectacular. We brought our grandchildren and the convenience of the pool right below the condo is perfect, they were out there everyday swimming and looking for Geckos. We look forward to re-booking this unit in the future.

Wonderful stay! Although this condo does not have all the high end upgrades and fancy decor, it was a good value and I would stay there again 🙂

The villa was modestly furnished, comfortable bed, no clutter and it was clean.

The last review mentioned something about an odor, however, I did not smell anything. Perhaps there was a water leak of some sort, but it was gone by the time we arrived.

The view from the master suite was unbeatable and the whales put on a terrific show every single day! We didn't need binoculars, but you may want to bring them. The views are just fabulous!

An excellent VRBO. All very enjoyable with only two recommendations. the owner should replace the old glass sliding doors! They don't work well and rattle in the wind and give a bad impression. And the A/C units should be replaced. Too noisy. All else was really really good. Would stay again.

We just returned home from our wonderful vacation to Kapalua. The unit was very spacious for our family of 4 in addition to being well-maintained and stocked with all the essentials including for the beach (towels, chairs, cooler, boogie boards, snorkeling gear) and kitchen (coffee maker, bbq tools, etc). We enjoyed the panoramic view of the ocean as well as the pool from our balcony where I could still see my husband and older daughter swim while the baby napped inside. Management was very accommodating including providing us with a pack n play for free, allowing us to check in a few hours early, and coming out on a Sunday to fix the main room AC for us. We loved the location which was just a short walk down to the beach or the general store. We were also able to take advantage of the children's pool (1 1/2 feet deep) and playground at the Ritz Carlton hotel by paying a (relatively) small fee to rent a chair at the beach. Overall, we had a great time and I hope to return to this unit very soon!

Where do I start? For our tenth trip to Maui we stayed at this lovely condo. We have stayed all over the island in condos and hotels. This was by far the best condo for the price. We just kept saying "this is heaven." The views are unreal, the size is perfect for up to 6 people. The layout is ideal for privacy (bedrooms on either side of the living area. The bedroom doors are solid for complete privacy. The three lanais were amazing. The patio furniture was so comfortable we are looking to purchase a set for our home. The beds are comfortable and the three bathrooms are classic designs and very generous. The kitchen was well stocked and lovely, as well. Check in and check out were a breeze. When at the condo we spent most of our time on the lanai taking in the sweeping views, sunrises and sunsets. The place is so quiet - we rarely heard our neighbors to the side or below. We stayed long enough to have housekeeping and they did a nice job replacing the towels, tidying up the bathrooms, and removing trash (they don't do dishes or vacuum). Just a fews lower (but not low) points: the pool can get loud (parents don't tell their children to hush and was often used during quiet hours. The air conditioning unit in the main room was a bit weak, which left the main living area very, very warm (those in the bedrooms worked just fine). The sliding doors and locks show their age (hard to roll and unlock/lock). There is not a modern tv in the master bedroom (we didn't miss it, but others might). The couch in the living shows some wear - but it's so comfy I read an entire book in one night. We stayed for two weeks and did everything on our list - dined, surfed, hiked, shopped, swam and explored. For the first time in all of our trips we swam with turtles every single day. I really can't say enough about how wonderful this villa is as well as the location in Kapalua. We had everything we needed and a million dollar view. The shuttle was reliable and provided quick access to several places to eat. Beach access was very easy to maneuver. We will definitely return.

We rented two condos in Kapalua Ridge for a family reunion. Love the resort shuttles, ABC store/ restaurant, walking distance to Kapalua Bay (fabulous snorkeling). This villa was beautiful. Can't go wrong. Out of the "Waikiki vibe" of the Kaanapali area... Kapalua is by far our favorite area on Maui, and we've checked out every area in our 35 years of vacationing in Hawaii

Amazing is the best word to describe this property and location. The property was a fantastic fit for our group of four. The views and sunrises amazing every day, I would highly recommend this property to anyone staying in Maui.

I guess everyone knows that Maui is incredible. But what makes it better is having a great place to stay. We went in late March and I can tell you that we were thrilled with our stay in this unit. We had two couples and a 7 yr old. There was plenty of space, it was absolutely clean, and the view was incredible. I can't believe I was considering other places without a view just to save a few bucks- don't do this. The pics don't do the view justice. Sitting out on the lanai every morning and evening (with a Maui Brewing Co Pineapple Wheat beer) was a real treat. The kitchen was sufficient for cooking meals and the restrooms are roomy and clean. The guest bedroom had its own large bathroom area with a master-size closet which was very useful for us. The pool just below 9-22 was super convenient and very well-kept. The pool facility included clean restrooms, showers, a very large open area for parties, tables and chairs, poolside lounge chars, a refrigerator to keep your drinks cold, and two large grills that were spotless and worked perfectly. There are 3 beaches nearby. Kapalua Bay was our favorite. DT Fleming is great for some more exciting waves. Don't miss the Burger Shack at DT Fleming. Lots of exercise to be had on the scenic trail that begins on Oneloa Beach. The free shuttles service was a big bonus. They show up quickly, load your stuff, and are very professional. Made me happy to tip the drivers. The Plantation golf course was incredible- all 3 times I played it. Don't forget to use the discount voucher ($325 vs $265). Wrapping it up, the entire surrounding facility was very well maintained and landscaped. The management company provides great service. If you are considering other villas/condos, this one is tough to beat and is priced very competitively.

Our stay was wonderful, the villa was clean and comfortable, with everything you would need. Kitchen was well equipped. The patio and the ocean views were incredible we watched the whales from there all day. The pool was so close with the communal BBQ's it made grilling so easy. The manager responded to our questions immediately. The property is so well maintained, there was some ground work noise during our stay, tree trimming and power washing, however it was fine. I would recommend this property for a stay and the fitness classes and smoothie bar at the montage spa where so close and a great treat for a morning walk. A very relaxing and chill time.

The condo views are amazing, breathtaking and memorable. The weather for the week however was very, very windy and thus we couldn't enjoy the lanai. When it is windy all the doors, screen doors rattle which makes it hard to sleep, but we realized probably couldn't be helped with the excessive wind. The kitchen has plenty of cookware but no condiments (such as, pepper, cooking oil, saran wrap, etc.), we had to purchase all of these necessary essentials which at other VRBO's are available. The bathroom light in the second bedroom over one of the vanities worked sometimes and other times did not. The location of the condo was great and in the resort. Got resort rates for golf at the Bay and Planation courses. Close to walk to the Ritz and restaurants within the resort.

We had wonderful stay in Kapalua. The condo is close to some of the best beaches. The condo is very large, lots of room, plenty of beds and bathrooms, and a very large lanai with beautiful view. I fell asleep on the chaise most nights out on the lanai. Condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Only thing I would mention, the dishwasher had an unpleasant smell. The property is absolutely beautiful, everything is green and kept up with great care. Our building was being painted during our stay and we never even noticed the work going on. Perfect condo, we would not hesitate to return.

My family and I loved this condo! It was huge, with two separate bedrooms and a living room. This gave privacy and space for everyone which was a huge plus. The only thing we weren't impressed with was the two beds in the bedroom, the headboards were slouched over almost like it was broken and we ended up finding out one of the bed frames was missing a screw underneath. It could have been dangerous if the head boards collapsed. We phoned our property manager and he got it dealt with and fixed in the same day by maintenance and it was great after that! We were just surprised that no one noticed the beds before we arrived when they were cleaning the condo since it wasn't hard to miss, otherwise everything was perfect! This view was incredible, the master bedroom was also amazing with the comfortable king sized bed and private lanai. The location is prime in kapalua ridge with the trade winds since we had the patio doors open all day and night when we were there we didnt need to turn the AC on once. amazing experience overall and i would definitely stay in this condo again!

EXCELLENT!!! The condo was wonderfully appointed, clean and tastefully decorated. The patio's views were breathtaking and we sat out there every evening for pre-dinner cocktails. The kitchen was well appointed and we didnt have to buy a ton of extra paper towels, dishwasher soap, etc as the cleaning staff left us extras. We loved the location of Kapalua. So nice to be next to the Ritz, golf courses, Mahana trail and Fleming Beach (best for waves and no coral + not getting cut up when playing in the surf. We also loved the oceanside trail and jumping off the cliff close to the Montage resort. Lahaina was excellent for amazing food and shopping. Everything you need is 15 minutes away from this location.

The location was excellent for us. We did not want to be in the high density areas of Maui....I.e. kaanapali. The grounds are lush, the views face the Dragon's teeth area (NW) is minutes fromD.T. Fleming park for boogie boarding and close to Kapalua Bay for snorkelling. The villa is spacious and comfortable. The only downfall was the kitchen equipment. We rented another villa as well since some of our family joined us. The other villa had a well equipped much better. This villa needs to update the dishes , the pots and pans as well as the knives. If the owners make this small change, I would highly recommend unit #922. It's above the pool, but we were never disturbed. The Master bedroom has a comfortable king bed, a large closet , large bathroom and it's own lanai. The other bedroom has 2 comfortable double beds and a large bathroom as well. They are well separated making it very private.The setting of the villa is superior !

The property was exactly as described and in a quiet location near the pool and club house. The kitchen was nice and the appliances were new. We needed a light bulb changed in a closet and Lonnie was there almost immediately. We spent a lot of time on the lanai watching the whales and relaxing with the light ocean breezes. We enjoyed the Gazebo Restaurant for breakfast and Sansei one evening for supper. We used the pool often and the near by beach for walks. We could see Dragon's Teeth and watch the waves was amazing!

We had a great time at Kapalua and our Ridge villa was just perfect. We have stayed in 12 different units at the Ridge over the years and this was an above average unit. It is well taken care of, well located, great views etc.

We wanted a family vacation with our adult children that mixed luxury with the rawness of exploring Maui. The unit was perfect for us! We took advantage of the Ritz-Carlton for a couple of spa days with poolside pampering. Other days we explored snorkeling spots and remote places like the Olivine Pools just to the north--amazing! There are several beaches within walking distance that we took advantage of, although the closest is not great for swimming. The unit is on a hill, so there is a hefty walk back. There is also a pool near the unit that was comfortable and a great place to catch up on reading between adventures! The unit itself was very comfortable and it is laid out to take advantage of the ocean views and breezes. The kitchen was adequate, although outdated, and the complex has a pair of grills that we used. The unit was very clean overall, but the carpet is overdue for a deep cleaning. The bedrooms are comfortable and are spaced a part so there is plenty of privacy and really enjoyed the master bedroom’s lanai. There were plenty of beach towels and a couple of beach chairs that we used. We really enjoyed this unit and it contributed to a fantastic, memorable vacation!

This Unit was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The view is wonderful from every room in the unit, (except bathrooms). We enjoyed our stay here, the only issue we had was the kitchen is lacking good utensils for making meals,the pans to cook with were old and cheap and there are no bowls for mixing salads or serving. We had friends over for dinner twice and made the salad in the 9 X 13 glass baking dish. The microwave is very small and there was only one glass bowl in the unit that was small enough to cook with in the microwave. Beautiful unit but we had a good laugh in the kitchen when it came time to actually use it. Besides the kitchen this unit had everything we could want for a wonderful time in Maui.

Condo has beautiful view and everything you need to make your stay a comfortable one. It is not updated but super clean. My whole family loved it. I will come back next year for sure!

This was our first time to Maui and will not be our last. We absolutely enjoyed the area and the condo was excellent. Great view. We used the grill area a couple of times and it was located in close proximity to the condo which made it easy. The beach was nearby and an easy walk, but the area is hilly and you should be in decent shape if you're planning on walking around a lot. The option would be to use the shuttle but we never did. Used the store on the complex several times and that was also handy. Slept with the lanai doors open and could hear the ocean. Washer and dryer was really nice, beach chairs and boogie boards too. Could've used a cooler but we ended up packing a backpack with refreshments and freezer packs we bought to make it work. Overall very satisfied with the condo and complex.

we enjoyed our stay immensely. wind blew most of time but we enjoyed it. Grounds were beautiful and view was outstanding. Great location right above pool and a short walk to beach. Only negative were lack of kitchen utensils and mixing bowls

Very nice location, great view, quiet area. Enjoyed eating at Sansei a couple of times while we were there. A few things in the kitchen could be added, like a couple of larger bowls (salad)and a little sharper knives. More than enough space for 2 couples. Bathrooms are good sized and bedrooms very comfortable. Loved having a washer and dryer in the unit. Overall very satisfied and will definitely rent this unit in the future.

Very nice location, great view, quiet area. Enjoyed eating at Sansei a couple of times while we were there. A few things in the kitchen could be added, like a couple of larger bowls (salad)and a little sharper knives. More than enough space for 2 couples. Bathrooms are good sized and bedrooms very comfortable. Loved having a washer and dryer in the unit. Overall very satisfied and will definitely rent this unit in the future.

Overall, I loved Ridge 922 villa! It was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were large and laid out well. The closets were huge and had more then enough hangers! The living area was comfortable (although the couch was, perhaps, a little tired and worn). The kitchen had the basics, although we would have appreciated some serving bowls and salad bowls. We improvised, but wondered if previous renters had broken those pieces and they'd not been replaced yet. At one point, we had trouble with the oven and the property manager Jake was calm, practical and responsive. I would say aside from the absent salad bowls, the biggest difficulty was the noise from the community pool that was just below the villa. It wasn't constant or late at night, but it did disrupt the atmosphere of peace and privacy that was otherwise present and very much appreciated. I would definitely return to this villa, and hope to do so within the year.

This villa was perfect for my 5 family members. Building #9 was nice and close to building #2, where more family was staying. This unit was spacious, with ample storage, 2 private bedrooms, and 3 great full bathrooms (we appreciated that!). The lanais provided beautiful views of the ocean and nice shade through the day (and rain-covering for the one rainy day we had). In-suite laundry was very convenient and we definitely used it. The shared pool access with BBQ was a family favourite. The villa was walking distance to some little running trails along the shore as well as a few beaches. There are many decent restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive (and some within walking distance). Linens and towels were provided and greatly appreciated, as were the small things like dish soap, laundry soap, garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towel, etc... Instructions for the villa were straightforward, and the correspondence with the property manager was excellent.

The only recommendations that we would make (and these were not a huge deal) would be an updated stereo system (we forgot our cassette tapes at home), and better sized dinner plates that don't have to be laid on an angle to fit into the dishwasher. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend staying here. We were comfortable and the place was clean and well-maintained. If we are a similar sized group next year, we will be looking to stay here again!

Comfortable condo with fantastic view. Cleanliness-mostly good, but found unwashed towels in washing machine when we arrived. Found empty plastic water bottle under a bed. Kitchen needs updating and more glassware, utensils, pots and pans! Overall nice place, we enjoyed our stay!!

Access to the property was very easy. Close proximity to everything required was only minutes away. We found it very quiet which made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a great stay! The place was clean, well stocked with necessary cooking items and bath accessories, the beds were more comfortable than our own and the view was breath taking! I spent most the time on the lanai looking at the pacific and enjoying the strong trade winds. Thank you

We had wonderful, sweeping views of a spectacular ocean coupled with tropical breezes (sometimes gusts)! So relaxing. The unit was roomy and allowed our two families to coexist comfortably throughout our stay. The kids loved having the living room to play and watch videos. And whenever there was a problem...they would come and fix it right away! We loved our stay and came back home very relaxed! Thank you!

We loved the location of this property. Yes it needs updated as mentioned by others. Would recommend a flat large screen tv and get rid of the big cabinet. Viewing would improve. Also, one of the patio sofas is in need of repair. Overall, we truly loved this place. Very comfortable and private for 2 couples. Lots of space but a tight kitchen which needs updated. Yes we would recommend to others.

We spent a wonderful 11 night stay in this villa unit and loved the beautiful ocean views and relaxing atmosphere that Kapalua Ridge offered. The unit was very clean and spacious, although I agree with other reviews that it's time for some upgrades. The carpet should be taken out and several cupboard fronts are in need of repair. We were two couples and one of the love seats on the deck was broken and had been tied with a rope to keep it from completely coming apart. These are really small complaints as the beds were great, spacious and clean bathrooms. The kitchen had all the amenities we required. The pool is conveniently located right below the unit and is kept up meticulously. Our husbands made use of the lovely BBQ area for one of our meals. Although we had use of a rental vehicle, our husbands made use of the shuttle for golf trips at the Plantation course which was very convenient. Don't miss the wonderful deli & shops on site! We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again 🙂

nice place, good views and plenty of room

Overall we loved the place, the only problem was that the telephone didn't work the whole week in the villa. We stayed 8 nights starting Tuesday to Wednesday and I had to call Jake/ management on Friday to find out when will the midweek service will come to change linens. Jake told us that they will call us first to let us know but they showed up the next morning on Saturday but no one called so my son who is a minor told them not to come. I had to call again. It will be nice to get a note when linen service will come as the property management say they are not responsible if items are missing so how do we know who will be coming and at what time if the phone line doesn't work. We were never contacted while we were there. A note will be sufficient if they don't want to bother. Luckily we all have phones but a note would have been in order to let us know when service will be coming. There were no instructions on checking out so just left really early on Wednesday. Noticed that Kapalua area is super windy so that was the only negative side but the location of the villa with the super nice view and walking to the beach was fantastic! We loved our stay!

This unit was a good stay, we had some initial issues however the property management company Jake and John were on top of their game. Great location the unit is a little dated and could use some modernization. Overall we were very pleased.

This was our first time to ever visit Hawaii/Maui - we enjoyed the condo so much! The views outside on the balcony were stunning and we enjoyed sitting outside and just seeing the ocean - it was very relaxing. The condo is very spread out and everyone felt like they had their own privacy - it was nice having three bathrooms! It was the perfect place to get away from the touristy areas, too - you felt like you were away from the crowds. It's very close to the beach and perfect for a family vacation. We already miss it and plan to come back and stay here when we return.

The Ridge Villa 922 was a great vacation spot. The view was spectacular, plenty of room for 5 people, well equipped and with a great location. Needs a little updating but it was still a very comfortable rental. We will be back.

This rental is fantastic. The master suite is separate from the other bedroom and there are 3 baths making for easy mornings. I can't say enough. The lenai is gorgeous with gorgeous views, the pool is right below and the beach is a 4 minute walk. Plus you have access to the Ritz pool complex. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. So well appointed. This is an A+ We didn't want to leave.

We stayed at the property in the beginning of October 2012. This 2-bedroom condo was exceptionally spacious and located in beautiful Kapalua. The villa came stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The rental company was very accommodating and very easy to work with throughout our stay. We definitely recommend this condo if you're staying in Kapalua!

Wow. This was the 2nd time we used VRBO and we were hesitant since the first time (in Florida) was a bust. Our place in the Kapalua Ridge villas was outstanding. By far one of the nicest condos I have ever stayed in. The views were the best on the island. We had instant access to the pool and were a 3 minute walk to a beach that was never crowded. It was like we had the beach to ourselves. The beds were incredibly comfortable (and I'm pretty picky). The amenities were clean, and we had 4 clean beach towels folded and ready for our use. The lanai was beautiful and enormous with plenty of seating for the entire family. There is also a really nice general store with some of the best coffee I have ever had, great breakfast, and all of the necessary stuff for our fridge (wine, beer, lunch meat, bread, snacks, pineapple). The best part is that it's within walking distance. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and hope to do so again in the future. Without a doubt, it is a place I would recommend to all my family and friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kapalua Ridge. The beds, outdoor furniture an sofas were very comfortable. The condo had nice linens and towels. The kitchen was adequately equipped. Maybe it could have some better wineglasses and other drink glasses. We walked everyday all around the property, to the beach path below and to the Ritz Carlton.

This condo worked out pefect for our family of four. We had two teenagers with us and the space was key. The Kapalua shuttle picked us up a bunch of times and took us anywhere we wanted to go. We loved using the condos pool but had no issues walking over to the Ritz pool and letting them know we were staying at the Ridge they treated us like guests gave us towels etc. Awesome time and really enjoyed the lovely condo esp the comfy beds! This condo is spacious and has a great view of the Pacific. Perfect for sitting outside and staring off into space. The property itself is great although it would have been nice to have a few more "beach amenities" (beach chairs, cooler, etc) but extremely large beach chairs was great. If you are looking to stay out in West Maui, this place should be checked out.

Fabulous place!

The unit is in need of some upgrading. Carpets need a good cleaning or should be replaced. I did not come to watch television but I am sure that this was one of the first built.

Unlike so many other condos we have rented, this one was minimally stocked. No toaster, a weak microwave, and nothing in the way of food items. Not even salt and pepper. Only 2 towels were in the kitchen, no extras. I think the rental company had just taken over the property, and it showed. A weirdly located rug in the living area revealed a huge stain. The dressers had a musty smell. The remote didn\'t work -- needed batteries I think, but I didn\'t feel inclined to go buy any. The cable was out for the first few days, and the agency basically said I should call the cable company and deal with that directly. Like I want to spend time waiting for a cable guy on my vacation? The up side -- it was quiet, and the view was incredible. We could see the whales breaching all over the place. it was also a quick walk down the hill to the beach. Overall, we had a great vacation. We just felt that for the rate we paid, we should have had a better stocked condo and some directions on how to use the unit would have been nice. There was nothing. I will definitely be back to Kapalua Villas, just not sure I\'d pick this particular unit again.
