Kapalua Ridge Villa 1112

What a wonderful vacation home! Up until a couple of years ago, my family owned a condo at Papakea and I have grown up visiting Maui every year of my life. This was the first time I\'ve stayed somewhere other than Papakea and I was delighted with our stay here. The views from the wrap-around lanai are absolutely spectacular, the condo itself is very tastefully decorated and well-appointed, and for a Kapalua beach bather like me, the location was incredible. The check-in process was smooth, property management was responsive, and I honestly have nothing but raving reviews for this experience! I'll be back 🙂 Mahalo lui noa and aloooooha!

VRBO I am not prone to hyperbole but this was one of the best stays we have ever had (and I usually joke about the classic "this is the best X I ever had" type posts). But we've stayed at numerous places through the years throughout various countries, and this was one of the best overall places we have ever stayed. The locale helped for sure, but the property itself was beautiful. Super clean, nicely furnished, huge with three full bathrooms, huge living area and beautiful terraces. Great covered parking right in front and amazing views every day of the ocean, surrounding hills and the world class golf course. The breeze we received every day with a small crack of the patio doors was truly to die for. With the comfortable beds and overall beauty of the environment coupled with that breeze, we slept like proverbial babies every night. Management was fantastic. Very responsive and very helpful. We are so happy we chose this property over some of the other high rises we looked at nearby. These are private villas reminiscent of what you would see on the side of some country side in Asia. Beautiful design, private yet everything in walking distance. Pool down a set of stairs. Beach a few minutes walking down a dedicated path as well as nearby hiking, a fantastic store with everything you could imagine including great food and several restaurants. The property is shared with a Ritz Carlton so you truly get the best of all worlds - you pay for a huge villa. Loved it!

Lovely place in a beautiful development

We enjoyed our stay at the Ridge in Kapalua. Beautiful view of both sunrise and sunset from our lanai. Breathtaking view of the ocean and the condo was fairly well equipped.

Absolutely perfect place, way bigger than anticipated, fully stocked, loved every square inch! For sure will book this place again!

We are pretty low-key in our communication and needs. We were just looking for something with easy access, good location, and great views. This place did not disappoint in any of these. The local beach was much less crowded than other options, and the views were magnificent. A well-stocked kitchen made cooking easy, the beds were nice, and the stay was overall a great experience.

The house and view were lovely, the kitchen was well equipped and we really enjoyed our stay and vacation.

The leak in the bathroom shower area was a minor inconvenience and the air conditioning was a little loud and took a little getting use to, but didn't really detract from our overall stay.

They have paid great attention to detail which enhanced the total place and made it very enjoyable

Kapalua Ridge is always an awesome place to stay, but this condo had the BEST view ever. They were completely stocked with all needed in kitchen etc. We will definitely go back to this condo next trip to Maui. It was spotless and beautiful. HIGHLY recommend this condo. You will not want to leave.

This billa was absolutely perfect for our family of 5. Beautiful view, well stocked kitchen and management was very responsive to needs. Would definitely come back!! Even though we he weather wasn’t the best in Maui, we had a great place to hang out if we needed too.

This was a spacious ridge villa that has beautiful views from the lanai. Easy walk to the pool which was great for our 8 and 10 yr old boys. We attended a meeting all week at the Ritz and it was an easy 10-12 min walk there

This was a beautiful condo with excellent ocean views. We could sit on our balcony and watch the whales swim by. Everything we needed we had. It was fully stocked. Very comfortable. An overall very pleasant stay. Would highly recommend this condo.

Kapalua is our favorite spot on Maui, Unit is perfect and large Sq Ft. We have stayed in this unit twice and look forward to staying again. Kapalua is an amazing resort, from world class beaches to great hiking trails. And some great restaurants as well.

We stayed with our in-laws at this condo and it was perfect. We had two separate master suites on opposite sides which gave an added level of privacy. Plus a 3rd bathroom, which was great. The condo had all the necessities to make our stay comfortable. The views were magnificent from the Lanai (there is one off the main living area and one of the bedrooms). The place was clean and welcoming, you can feel that it is a well loved home. I will be recommending to my family friends!

The facility was beautiful and in a great location. I would stay again as long as we don't use the concierge service. VERY unprofessional! We booked events through them and once payment was received, we heard nothing back. I have multiple unanswered emails asking about the villa we rented. I also had to call and email once we got to Maui because we had no idea of time or location of our events. We still only received a receipt for one of the events and ended up missing our sunset sail due to lack of communication. Then, the concierge refused to refund our money and pointed the blame at us. Her name was Maria. Avoid her like the plague. We spent a lot of money...still had a wonderful time, but she really made things unpleasant for us. We likely won't rent from Aloha Vacation again because of her.

We sat out on the linai every morning and watched the whales spouting thei mists and saw many breach and splash back into the water. Short walk to the beach. Landscaping is beautiful and always a beautiful walk. Lots of places to walk for morning and evening walks. Very quiet and peaceful.

Unit 1112 was very comfortable. Dining room table was larger than most units . Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was adequately furnished. Air conditioner units were effective, but quit old and loud. This unit was clean, except for the huge dead roach in a bedroom.

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. The kitchen had all of the gadgets and appliances that we needed! The home was clean and well kept up, even though it's on the mature side. Our only complaint is that we didn't know this side of the island was so much colder and lots more rain. We would drive a few miles south to Lahaina, and it would be sunny and warm. Of course, this has nothing to do with the home, but just wish I would have known this. Beautiful area with lots of gorgeous views, which differ greatly from the south side, so all in all we had a wonderful time!

This villa was just great. My wife and I and 2 teenagers. Very spacious. 2nd bedroom set up as twin layout and away from master. L shape deck was good to avoid some wind we had. Furniture is in very good condition, as is the rest of the condo. Beds are excellent, slept extremely well, which isn't always the case when I travel. Condo has an excellent floor plan. Views are great. We actually could see the whales! I would book it again.

Very highly recommend. We loved our stay. Two minor things; it would be nice to have a safe and a rice cooker. Otherwise it had everything we wanted..

The location and views (why we rented the place) were spectacular - walk to Fleming and Kapalua beaches, tennis courts and golf course. We had stayed in the Ritz before but this time came with family of 5. The villa offered all needed amenities except we missed one more bed in the second bedroom (3 kids). We never used either of the pools because of the beaches. The villa was built in the '80s, but is well maintained. Furniture was in a good shape and tile floors were clean. Overall we were very satisfied.

The property was in a great location, quiet and very close to the beach. The views and atmosphere were spectacular. The amenities were excellent and the property was very clean and well-maintained. Checking in and out was easy. We had a lot of fun on this visit to Hawaii, there's a lot to do around. We would definitely recommend this property!

Nice villa with all the amenities of home. Very large and plenty of space. Fabulous ocean views from both Lanais. Will come again!

We had an amazing time at Kapalua, we have been 6 times and this was the nicest unit we have stayed in.

It is a great layout for a family or two couples. It has been remodelled and is beautifully decorated. The kitchen was equipped with every convenience we needed. We watched whales breaching from the balconies and spotted rainbows. The ridge is a perfect spot in Kapalua to enjoy a truly 'Maui' experience.

Kapalua has the nicest beaches in Maui and we had a great time using the Kapalua tennis gardens.

We will be back next year !

We rented 2 villas in the Ridge of Kapalua. It was easy to make comparisons when you have 2 similar units. Our family preferred unit #1112 for several reasons.....the unit has been updated, is spacious, clean and it has a well equipped kitchen. The views are NW looking over Dragon' s teeth rockery, it's near the Kapalua golf course, DT Fleming Park, Kapalua Bay and the coastal walking trail. Best of all, it has low density! We stayed in Kaanapali last year....never again! The grounds here are lush and spacious. Villa # 1112 is completely tiled ( so much better than carpet), has 2 large bedrooms with updated bathrooms,a good sized kitchen with good dishes, pots and pans and knives. You will not see the sunsets but you do have wonderfully coloured skies. There are good breezes to keep you and the villa refreshed . There is a unit above this one but we were not disturbed with noises. We loved it! We would certainly come back to unit #1112.

If you are looking for the comfort of home, decks to enjoy the ocean view, and a community with walk-abilty, you will love this place! We enjoyed walking to the beach and coffee, and the golf course there was fantastic. The home is well maintained, and even the bed was quite comfortable. We used the local shuttle a couple of times, and that was very easy too. Great place that we hope to return to soon!

The condo was outstanding in every way. The unit was spacious, clean and contained everything we could possibly need or want. The views from the lanai were breathtaking!

The view from this property, its proximity to great beaches, snorkeling, restaurants and beautiful walking paths made it perfect for us. We do not golf but the courses appear spectacular. The layout of our unit was perfect for four people. Plenty of privacy. Better than expected. We loved Kapalua and this entire end of Maui.

This is our 8th at the Ridge Villas and, as always, it was perfect. Marty and Vicky with reservations are amazing! We ended up staying an extra day and they found us another within 30 min at the same rate and walking distance away. Jake (on-site property manager always answers the phone (night and day) and takes care of any issues or questions.

Our stay in Hawaii was exactly what we were looking for. We needed a property close to the Ritz Carlton, wanted an ocean view and comfortable accommodations. We were well taken care of from the moment I visited with Vicki through our need to contact the onsite property manager Jake for a couple of things. He was on it - instantly and resolved a couple of minor questions immediately. Would love to stay here the next time we come.

We found this unit to be satisfactory, with a good view of the ocean. The Kitchen cabinets need to be adjusted for secure closure, and there was a musty odor throughout the unit. We have stayed at the Ridge for many vacations, and always chose this area because it offers covered parking. So, it was very disappointing to learn upon arrival that there was none, since the owner keeps his car parked in the designated space.

Overall very positive. Great view, and owner thought about everything to make it convenient for us. Only when I called I was told there's a car port, but I have to park it under the sun. Also was told it was top floor but actually lower floor. No noise issue though.

My husband and I stayed 2 glorious weeks at Ridge 1112 and would love to have stayed longer! The views were amazing and we were just a short walk to the ocean and steps to the pool! As our first time to Maui I think staying here may have spoiled our chances of staying anywhere else on the island for future trips!

Loved this place! So spacious, quiet location, and great views to watch the always changing sky and sea. The condo itself is well-equipped and maintained, and convenient for walking the coastal path, visiting the Ritz Carlton or Montage hotels, playing golf, or exploring the fabulous north shore.

The condo was lovely and in a prime location. It was well appointed and very comfortable with a wonderful view. I think the housekeeping staff needs to do a better job.

My wife and I stayed in Kapaluha Ridge unit 1112 and thoroughly enjoyed our home away from home. The views from this unit were excellent; we had coffee on the lanai every morning and refreshments there every evening. Many thanks...

Kapalua Bay Villas was the best part of our trip. The property manager was very professional while helping us book our stay. The location cannot be beat as it was just a 5 minute walk down to the beach that had some nice hiking trails. The views from the balcony are amazing to wake up to every morning to watch the sun rise. Overall, wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Hawaii!

Just wanted to let you know how much we were impressed with the Kapalua Ridge condo. It was spacious and well equipped with lovely decor. Upon arrival we discovered that there was no house phone so we contacted Jake and he took care of it right away. This unit would only sleep 6 with extra cots being added as there was no sofa bed. Loved the shuttle service as it provided an extra form of transportation if the car was being used. The view was great and even managed to see the odd whale. It was very windy a couple of days which made it difficult to sit outside. Really liked the area and services. Highly recommend lunch at both Kapalua golf courses. We didn\'t golf this trip but managed to hit a bucket of balls at the driving range and used the putting course. Thanks again for the wonderful service. We will be back.

Perfect vacation home for two couples or a family! This home has fabulous views from the living room and master bedroom. It has an ideal location within the complex with a short walk to the pool, but not too close to hear it, and a short walk to some very nice beaches. The home is clean, well maintained, and equipped with a large flat screen TV, WiFi, a great kitchen, comfortable furniture, two huge bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, and a third full bathroom as well! We really enjoyed the two large lanais. We were able to listen to the ocean waves break over the rock outcroppings of Kapalua, while relaxing on chaise lounges on either of the two large lanais - both with killer views! This is a wonderful home and we look forward to a return trip!
