Beautiful Condo

Beautifully updated and furnished. The kitchen was well stocked with nice dishware, pots/pans, and service ware. Great location, very comfortable beds. The only negative is there is only air conditioning in the bedrooms so downstairs was hot in the late afternoon. Also, we did not find basic salt/pepper so plan on taking with your grocery list. Everything else was perfect and property grounds are beautiful.

Our stay at Parrish Kailili #8 was great. We were looking for a low key, quiet condo with a view and ocean view. We were happy to have a car, since the beach is not accessible by the unit, but there is a great walking path and fabulous sunset views. The pool was great without having the noise and action of a big resort pool. We had plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. We also appreciated having a ground floor unit and close access to our car. We got just what we wanted....a beautiful, quiet and serene home to relax and call home.

Amazing!!

We enjoyed 2 fabulous weeks staying in this beautiful townhouse!! The unit has been recently fully renovated and it is gorgeous. The finishings are very tasteful. We especially loved the spacious master bedroom with an unbelievable view of the ocean. It is a very well equipped unit that is perfect for 2 couples. We will definitely return.

Stunning townhouse, fabulous location!

This recently renovated t/house did not disappoint! It is spacious, beautifully decorated, with attention to detail. The location can’t be beat. Stunning sunsets, daily whale watching from the patio, and a short walk to a beautiful beach all added to the enjoyment of our stay. A well equipped kitchen and large bedrooms with comfortable beds. Top notch spa like bathrooms were very nice. AC is also a nice touch that is available in the bedrooms. Would definitely stay here again!

Cancelled three weeks prior

Our reservation was cancelled by owner three weeks prior to start of our vacation because of delays relating to remodel. The management company found accommodations that were adequate but required we relocate midweek and meaning we did not have a home base for one day. Disappointing experience.

Aloha Katherine, we do apologize the unit was not ready and are sorry we did not have a comparable property for your exact dates.  We could only offer what we had and what we found online elsewhere.  We do hope you were able to find something and enjoy Kauai.  Aloha

Oceanfront view

The area is very nice. Downstairs got warm to hot in the afternoon. AC downstairs would improve the experience.

Everything was absolutely wonderful and we’ve already passed on the reference to a number of friends!

Just a very minor item: the plug that the Wi-Fi router and modem were plugged into was inoperable, but we simply plugged them into another part of the outlet and it worked

Great location, beautiful landscaping and pool area.

I may not have seen all of the pictures online but I thought the pool area looked much nicer in person and was pleasantly surprised. One of the AC units did not work but it was fixed and taken care of just fine.

The ocean breeze flow-through.

The beauty of the grounds, proximity to ocean and the comfy beds/linens. The handheld shower head either didn’t work or we couldn’t figure it out. The oven was brand new and the packing materials were still in it. We didn’t realize it until we’d turned it on. But we caught it before it burned. And we’re used to salt & pepper and some olive oil or something but there was absolutely nothing. Good proximity to beaches, a/c, pool and multiple available units so our friends could stay too.

The beautiful ocean views and the equally beautiful landscaping as well as the quiet. And the front desk staff was superb. (The herb garden is also a wonderful feature). Found both Patty and Chris cheerful and helpful. Patty for cheerfully answering all my questions and having a can-do attitude. Chris for working hard to resolve a problem with printing airline boarding passes that the couple we were staying with experienced. Noticed that the furniture in the living room in #8 was different than in the photographs. Not a big deal, although I personally preferred the print on the original chairs to the dark brown of the new ones. Mentioned that the middle burner on one of the new gas grills did not light. Never had a chance to check on whether it was fixed since we were leaving the next day.

Nice property in a great location. Loved sitting on the patio looking at the ocean.

This place was roomie enough for a family of 5. It was in a great location walking to beach. I loved running along the path by the ocean. The home has everything you need. I would stay here again!

Perfect place for our family! Plenty of room for four or even five adults

This condo was very comfortable and well appointed. Falling asleep on a really good mattress to the waves crashing outside was just what we needed. Also we and our sons liked the proximity to beach, grocery stores and shopping. We will definitely be back

Beautiful, peaceful location with great ocean view!

We truly enjoyed staying at Poipu Kapili unit #8. The unit was very well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, beach towels. The washer/dryer came in very handy. It was in a great location for our Napali Coast Sail and Waimea Canyon, and the wonderful luau at the Sheraton. The pool was wonderful for relaxing on our “lazy days”. The only down side was that it was not air conditioned. We traveled with another couple so the 2 bedrooms were perfect for us.

Wonderful Location, Quiet, Clean, Nice Grounds, Friendly Staff.

We booked through the Parrish website which is beautiful! Front desk staff at Poipu Kapili were so wonderfully friendly, fun and helpful! It was so simple and small…the night light at the top of the stairs was burned out and we put the bulb on our shopping list to buy with our groceries. We called the front desk to see if they had any bulbs…bingo! Someone came to our door within half an hour, took to night light, he went to the store to buy us a new one and it was changed out that afternoon. Unbelievable service! I told him that we could get the bulb if they didn’t have it at the office…he insisted that he take care of it. Nice young man! Sure wish there had been one extra fan (not a box like we had to use) for the kitchen. It was incredibly hot the first two days we were there and it made the kitchen very hot…no ceiling fan in there. We finally found the box fan in the little room under the stairs but they are about worthless. We love to cook so it made it frustrating to be in the kitchen as much as we wanted to be. Thank goodness the weather changed. Simple fix…buy another floor fan like we used in the living room and in the bedrooms. We had used Parrish a year ago in Princeville and were very please! Seems like a classy operation…we have seen some of the fancy, fancy houses on your site and we know that a company must be good to snag such expensive rentals.

Cynthia is excellent! I initially spoke to her on the phone and she gave me good information. I also talked with her at the complimentary breakfast at Poipu Kapili. Check-in was very fast on conveniant. I really liked that check-in was located at our condo complex. Your website was very easy to use and pictures were great. We like the location of the condo. We also like the quietness of the condo complex. Air conditioning have been would be a nice addition.

Poipu Kapili #8

Almost every year we stay in Kaua’i and this year we decided to stay with Parrish at the Poipu Kapili, unit #8. We stayed the week of May 8th thru the 17th and we enjoyed every minute of our stay at the condo. This is really a fantastic condo! The condo is located perfectly close to Poipu Beach, Kukuiula shopping and restaurants. The condo itself is awesome, great views of the pacific from the lanai and the upstairs master. We saw pods of dolphins and a few humpbacks while having breakfast on the lanai. The accommodations are very well taken care of and furnishings modern, cable, free wifi, etc… The grounds of the PK are well taken care of and the staff/workers are very friendly; lots of Aloha Kaua’i style. The condo is well outfitted with boogie boards, cooler, beach bags, and towels. The parking is very convenient to the condo. There are grills just outside the condo to cook your local catches or meats. We are very impressed and pleased with the condo and will definitely book this unit again. Parrish collection was fantastic to work with and made the booking very easy. The only thing people should know is that there’s no AC; this is not a problem for us since the trades are blowing and the unit is very breezy but to some people who don’t care for a little warmth, this may be a negative point. We wouldn’t hesitate recommending someone to this and have in fact recommended the unit to friends and family. Mahalo!!
