Beautiful Condo

This was our first time staying with The Parrish and the whole experience was wonderful. The staff was really friendly and helpful, and the condo unit was really nice and clean. Will definitely stay there again.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here immensely. It was peaceful, private, and a wonderful space to stay in for the past week. The proximity to the ocean and beach always is a plus! I would recommend to anyone who is looking to stay in the Poipu area.

This condo exceeded our expectations! The place was so clean and the bed was extremely comfortable, had plenty of towels and blankets too. The location of this place was perfect, we walked to restaurants and the surrounding area was gorgeous and so well taken care of. I would recommend this to anyone! We can’t wait to come back!

Staying with The Parrish Collection was as easy going as it gets. The Poi'Pu Kapili place that we stayed at had a view of the ocean and was walking distance from the beach. I would recommend this place for anyone and we can't wait to stay there again.

Beautiful lanai to watch the whales from. Close to the beach, lots of food, cafes, and grocery stores are a short drive. Unit could use some updates, screen doors were sticky, and some essentials found at other air bnb’s were not provided (cooking oil, laundry detergent, etc). Otherwise, perfect location and a great stay!

Lovely place and location

Parrish is great - such an easy check in and check out process. They were there for us throughout our say - they with checked in via text from time to time and responded quickly when we reached out. We always prefer renting from Parrish when visiting Kauai.

We enjoyed our stay in this condo which has a quiet communal pool and views of the ocean. Even though you can see the ocean, the water is not accessible directly from the condo but Poipu Beach is only a mile west. The condo is set up for everything you could need, ammenity-wise, with ample kitchen appliances (full-sized fridge with an ice maker), a washer and dryer, and even beach chairs and umbrellas. I wish I had read the fine print better as I was expecting the entire unit to be air-conditioned but only the bedroom had a portable unit. Having planned our trip during peak summer temps meant much of the condo was too uncomfortably hot to use and what\'s worse is the TV did not work in the bedroom which was our only place to escape the heat. The Parrish team texted frequently to make sure everything was to our liking. We inquired about the TV in the bedroom and were told that Parrish was trying to get ahold of the property owner to replace it and to our disappointment, it would not be taken care of during our stay. There was an undated note on the dresser when we arrived that stated the TV did not work so I wonder how long they have known about this and have not addressed it. Since they clearly knew it was broken before we arrived, it would have been nice to know what the plan was for making it right before having to reach out to ask about it. The WiFi was unfortunately extremely weak and was the weakest in the bedroom (of course, where there is also no TV). When reviewing nearby networks it appeared that many other units had stronger signals in the unit. My husband suggests the condo needs a "mesh" or to move the router. Overall, I think the condo is a relatively good value assuming everything is in working order and that the Parrish team is working hard given the challenges of the pandemic to provide couples and families a nice getaway.

Excellent home base

This was our first trip to Kauai—the condo was a perfect home base for us—great location, beautiful views for your morning coffee, comfortable and well-appointed home. Easy check-in and -out, clean and quiet, and awesome sunset viewing right across the street by the beach. Highly recommend!

If you can afford it, do it. Great space with lots of thoughtful benefits. Quiet, except for tennis plays going to the courts next door we’ll after I was up.

We appreciated the cleanliness of the unit and the grounds and found your staff very friendly.

Patty – polite , friendly and helpful. – property manager was very kind and helpful. Young good looking grounds and pool worker with a pony tail – very pleasant and friendly. All of your staff were smiling and friendly but of course I didn’t get their names.

I always choose the Parrish for the space, the value, and the quiet.

I love the Hospitality link. It provides great information as the arrival date approaches. Photo’s are excellent. If possible, switch to the 360 mode, where teh viewer can pan the image. Partner with a local gym, or hotel with a gym. Or offer a gym for guest. I would be willing to pay additional for usage. Cynthia is always outstanding!

Beautiful property

Expensive and we might want to stay on the North side of the island IF we are blessed enough to return. We enjoyed using the herb garden for home-cooked meals. It enhanced the flavor without the expense of purchasing fresh herbs. Thank you for that!

I loved it

Great location, steps to beach, beautifully furnished with plenty of supplies. Only downside is that the sofa bed was somewhat hard so our kids opted to sleep on the sofa instead (it’s a comfy sectional). The unit comes with AC in bedroom, though we didn’t need it as very nice breezes flow through the unit. We had a terrific time.

Lovely setting with well-equipped condo

Air conditioning throughout the entire unit (beyond bedroom) would make this more desirable and comfortable. It became quite warm and difficult to cool down during much of our stay.

First floor. Ocean view. Close to pool and parking. Comfortable and tastefully decorated.

Walking distance to Sheraton Beach and shops at Kukuiula. Short dive to fine restaurants. Patty. Little disappointed in response from Chris regarding late check out, but he did stop by our unit on departure day to see if we needed help with our luggage because of the injury my husband suffered to his leg.

We found the staff very helpful and friendly.

The unit was spacious and nicely decorated. The low sink in the one bathroom was a little hard to use. The landscaping outside the door was a little sparse but may have been in the process of being replaced. The construction site behind the unit was not appealing, but did not bother us noise-wise which I had originally feared. The complex as a whole was very quiet and well-kept. We might choose a different building. When we first arrived the unit was very stuffy and musty smelling but that improved after we opened things up. It might improve first impressions, if staff could air out the unit prior to a guest arrival. The staff was very responsive with the dishwasher and although the building manager chose to hold off on calling repair person until they tried to run the dishwasher on their own (which did not work). They offered us a gift certificate for dinner and a late checkout for our trouble, which was a nice gesture and we appreciated it.

We apologize for not catching the dishwasher. We do check the units prior to every guest, but do not run the dishwasher if there was no need. The general location was great. Fix the TV in the bed room, the sound come in and out. That was our only real complaint
