The Poipu Kapili complex is amazing for a variety of reasons. The location is excellent for going on a morning walk, grocery shopping, restaurants, golf courses and there are several beaches near by. The grounds and landscaping are meticulously kept, and the pool area is lovely to relax around with friends or other tenants. Locals and tourists gather on the street in front of the complex nightly to watch the sunset. So many positives to list.

Kauai

Recently stayed at Poipu Kapili #23 and it was amazing: whitewater views, very private, we could hear the waves from every room in the unit, Very walkable to upscale restaurants and bars, situated between 2 incredible snorkel spots, beautiful walking trails off the lanai that took us to pristine beaches. The unit had everything you needed for cooking, tennis, pickleball, and the beach. The unit was tastefully decorated and included local original artwork. We saw 7 whales off of the lanai and 2 were breaching. We never wanted to leave and would highly recommend! We can’t wait to come back!

Check in was easy. I was even sent a txt that the place was available a little early. Accommodations were comfortable with a nice kitchen to cook breakfast. The TV was huge and nice to watch a movie in the evening. The extra 1/2 bath was appreciated with available laundry. It was great that a beach chairs, boogie boards, and snorkel equipment was provided as well.

Paradise

This is one of the loveliest properties we’ve ever stayed in. We’ve been in both #23 and #25, and each is tastefully decorated and super comfortable with a beautiful ocean view and close to the pool. The grounds are gorgeous – which of course means there are gardeners who tend to them, which of course means (as complained about in another’s post) there might be lawnmowers or other machinery noise during your stay. Such is the price of such beauty! The gathering at sunset (also mentioned in complainer’s post) is a kick – locals and visitors alike perch on the wall or hang out on the road. While it’s no doubt noisy for units that face the road, it’s over as soon as the sun goes down. The staff at Poipu Kapili is terrific, professional, responsive, and friendly. And for whatever reason, the rooster population there seems lower than the rest of the island – but still, bring earplugs!

Stay at poipu kapili

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was very nice and an easy walk to a good beach. The amenities at the condo were very good. My only complaint is the entire space was not air conditioned and it got hot around midday , just when we were trying to escape the sun.
