Beautiful Condo with Great Views!

The newly renovated condo was spacious with great design and ammenities for our trip. Bathrooms are large and the bedrooms very comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast out on the back patio overlooking the pool and ocean each morning. The pool was great for a late envening dip after a day on the beach. The condo is in a great location on the south shore to visit many of our favorite Kauai beaches and restraunts in just a short work or car ride. We would highly recommend this condo if you are planning a trip to Kauai!

Lovely spot

Spacious and beautiful location. The stovetop was broken and the Internet hotpot failed. I told the property manager but didn't see any action.

Excellent host. Great communication. Super easy check in and check out made life easy. Amazing location right on the water. We let the sound of waves put us to sleep every night. Huge rooms. Very clean and well stocked for cooking and living in the unit. Will stay with Parrish again. Highly recommend.

Amazing location by the water in Poipu! So nice to hear the ocean while you fall asleep! Overall wonderful stay!! Place definitely has some deferred maintenance that needs addressing, especially at this price point (tears in screen doors, etc.). Recommended for sure but would advise they do some repairs (so fewer lizards and such make their way inside)!

Beautiful home in a great location. Walkable to many great restaurants and it\'s such a bonus to hear the ocean at night. Wish we could\'ve stayed longer.

When it comes to Airbnb\'s, this is the cream of the crop! A spacious and very well-appointed condo with lots of special touches. We cannot recommend this place enough. The host was very responsive and easy to work with as well. location is very convenient to beach and local shops/restaurants. Well worth the rate.

Great location, although not right on the beach if that is important to you, but its a very short walk. The pool was lovely with perfect water temperature and not crowded, unlike many resorts. The large corner deck from this unit offers beautiful ocean views and also overlooks the pool. Beds were very comfortable and there is AC in the bedrooms which we definitely needed. No AC in the other areas but there are a couple of fans and windows opening on different sides allow for cross breezes. I would suggest closing the West facing shutters if you leave the condo for an extended period to keep it cooler; when you are inside you will definitely want them open for the view. A few restaurants within walking distance, and more options a short drive away, although as of early June 2021 not everything is open so make reservations early and call ahead to check hours etc. We would absolutely stay again.

This penthouse was a beautiful place to stay, have access to a pool and enjoy the south end of Kauai. This is the first rental I have ever stayed in that had sharp knives in the kitchen -- a crazy thing to notice, but so appreciated! We enjoyed having our morning coffee on the deck and the wonderful king-sized beds.

We had a wonderful stay! We couldn’t have asked for a better location. The condo had everything we needed and more. This was our second trip to the island and Kauai is a very special place! Some travelers should be aware that the bedroom A/C may not be capable of cooling the room to the degree they may be accustomed to. You are traveling to a tropical isle so be prepared for some heat. Also, the beach directly in front of the condo is rocky and beautiful; we were able to observe sea turtles and monk seals in the waves yards from shore. If you are looking for sandy beaches, they are a 5-10 min walk/drive away. We would be happy to return and stay at the same location if we get the opportunity.

Easy access from parking to rental, close to the beach, friendly and helpful staff.

Central air conditioning would be nice, but then again, the noise from the condensers would be disruptive. The room A/C was not very effective. Maybe a recirc type unit, like Mitsubishi.

Excellent location, floorplan, spacious lanai. elevator was down during nearly all of our stay; we were on the 3rd floor. ???? There was also a water main break on our departure day.

Location, views , quietness & comfort. Have already reserved unit 43 for next fall.

Sandy: always good to see Sandy. She is the heart of Poipu Kapili. Chris & Patty are always helpful when needed, friendly & competent. The maintenance man was very helpful, too. Dishwasher repairman was good, too …. but the appliance really needs replacement. Stayed in unit #43 11/29-12/17. Beautiful unit. Loved it & have reserved it for next fall. Stayed in unit #34 11/5-11/29. Lovely view but unit needs a few things: dishwasher needs replacing; need portable ac unit in bedroom; & addition of washer/dryer would make unit more desirable. I think Parrish does an excellent job of managing Poipu Kapili. We have been staying at PK for over 20 years. Everything has run more smoothly since Parrish took over management.

Wonderful condo and amazing location

Unit is clean, well maintained and in great shape. View is incredible!!! Property is gorgeous!!! Nice selection of cooking utensils. Glad to see a good collection of beach items and guide books. Only note I would make is that the air conditioner in the master bedroom is too small to cool a room of it’s size. But the trade winds usually took care of that issue for us. That said, we would definitely stay here again!!!

Too Hot

Brutally hot with inadequate air. Unit ok otherwise
Mahalo Jack for your feedback. We agree, here in the tropics it can get warm and this is especially so when the trades stop. Typically we are lucky and it is only for a day or two. However, we realize the importance of AC and are encouraging all owners to do what they can to to retrofit their properties to include AC. Lovely property, clean, nice pool and grounds

Our room faced the sunset and got VERY warm in the evenings, even with the air running. It’s a large room and a second unit in that room would be a welcome addition. It as difficult to be in the condo at all in the afternoon with the sun beating in, even with the shades closed. Overall though, we had a wonderful stay.

We just returned last week from our trip to Kauai. Our stay at Piopu Kapili #43 couldn’t have been more pleasant. Check-in was super easy and ready to go through Parrish Collection. The pictures on the website truly look like they do in person. The condo is very well stocked with everything you need. Housekeeping does a great job at keeping it clean. It’s so nice of the owners of the condo to rent out their beautiful place. The grounds are perfectly manicured and groundskeepers were continuously keeping it that way. Even though the ocean is across the street you can still hear it which is so nice. The condo is conveniently located walking distance to the Sheraton so if you want to go have lunch or dinner or go sit on the beach (chairs and umbrellas were provided) it’s a three minute walk. We loved it all!

Our relaxing experience.

Great location, peace and quite, on site facilities, no out of control children and at a reasonable price. I’m sorry I don’t remember her name, but the lady who ran the office was very professional, polite and extremely helpful. THANKS FOR A GREAT VACATION AND WE WILL SEE AGAIN!

Top Notch!

Location, view of the ocean on the lanai from the property, swimming pool and it is close to the beach. Nice amenity was the Friday morning coffee, etc. We had issues with the master bath toilet when we arrived. But we were told by the person who checked us in. It took two days to fix. Then the chain broke on the toilet later during our stay and it was fixed within 24 hours. The rental property could use a little update: Master bath and patio furniture. (they were torn) Overall property is primo!

Clean, everything was thought of

Washer middle/center was found off of the center of washer. She promptly fixed it same day. Also at end of our stay, informed them that oven door did not completely close.
