A wonderful peaceful stay!!! Near beautiful Poipu Beach, as well as several hikes, walks and restaurants. Neighborhood surrounded by gorgeous ocean…Drive to beach was just about 2 minutes. There was no air conditioning per their description, however, there were more than enough fans for our stay, which we didn’t need with the great cross ventilation in the house. The entire island does have plenty of roosters, and we were thankful for the white noise App on our phone with kept us sleeping peacefully through the morning. Very clean & quiet accommodations, Very comfortable beds and furniture, and the kitchen had everything we needed. House also came with two beach chairs, a cooler and some snorkel gear. Snorkeling was Amazing at nearby Poipu Beach

This was the prefect spot for our family. We were in Kauai for a wedding. The rest of the family was staying at the hotel next door so we easily walked over for all the events. There was plenty of food and shopping that we were able to walk to as well. The ocean was close by too. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. There were even boogie boards and snorkel gear that we used for our beach day. There isn’t AC but they had fans that worked well to cool us off at night. The service was great. They responded quickly to our questions. One of the fans stopped working and a simple text to them had it replaced. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

The apartment is in a great location on the South Shore, quite hidden by a lush garden. Everything was as expected on the profile, very clean with all amenities. Great communication with host.

This place was great. The ceilings are high, the layout is open and airy, and there was plenty of space for me, my husband, and baby. This was our first trip since she was born (she’s about 1 now) and it was great to have carpet everywhere, plus a bathtub and a lanai for eating meals. We spent a lot of time here bc of baby’s naps, resting, etc, so I’m glad it was such a nice unit. It was super clean and even though there’s no ac, we didn’t need it at all (maybe bc we went during spring?). It is pretty loud with the roosters and road traffic, but we brought a sound machine and my daughter slept fine. The kitchen is really well equipped with a ninja, toaster, 2 microwaves, and a small rice cooker. The bathrooms come with tons of nice shampoo/conditioner, etc. They also provided beach towels (4) and there was some beach equipment like boogie boards and chairs. We ended up driving to the beach since the walk down would be a bit tough with the baby and carrying all our stuff, but the location was still good. The management company was really responsive as well, I got several texts from them upon arrival and they made sure we had what we needed. I would definitely stay here again. We had a wonderful time!

The place was wonderful, short walk to some beaches shops and restaurants, short drive to even more, and close to the canyon for spectacular hiking. The place was spacious and comfortable and well maintained. We would absolutely stay again on our next visit

Great location! A few minutes walk to the ocean and an epic evening turtle scene. The place is spacious, is conveniently located, and had everything we needed for cooking in each night. Highly recommend!

Exactly as it appears

It was very positive. Clean and spacious. Beautiful grounds. The pool and deck are awesome. Close to great shops. A couple of small suggestions: an additional lamp in the loft would be helpful as it is quite dark. The condo rents for four people but only supplies three beach chairs along with a cool beach blanket. No umbrella so we bought one and left it there. None are deal breakers but would have been a nice touch to have it all. ????

Wonderful Property and Location

The property was spacious and well decorated. It was a great location within walking distance from the beach and the shopping center. We loved a lot of the restaurants near the property like Keola’s Paradise, Kiawe Roots and Merrimen’s. Also, the shopping center has culiminary Farmer’s market every Wed which was wonderful. The unit includes all your kitchen equipments and utensils. It also had numerous beach items like beach chairs, mats, beach toys, a cooler, and beach umbrella. Please note that there is no air conditioning, but it does have fans and the weather keeps the unit cool.

My take

furniture by pool was filthy dirty. Very disappointed pool was so cold. No a/c in room. At times was too warm. 1 of 2 beds was to small for 2 people. Very old mattresses. Don’t think I would stay here again.
Aloha, Alexander. We are sorry you are disappointed with your stay at Waikomo Stream Villas. We will pass on the comment about the pool furniture to the on-site resort manager as I know they always want to keep things in top form. Had you told us during your stay, they most certainly would have address any deficiencies. We apologize on the pool being too cold for you. Many resort pools are not heated but for future reference, we can let you know those that are. We totally understand this can be a necessity during the winter months, especially when the weather was like it was when you were here. AC is also not a standard amenity in older properties, but again, we have many units with AC (even some at Waikomo have recently added it) so we can help find the right unit next time. The mattresses in 423 are not “old”, but we do understand perceptions of comfort vary by mattress type. We agree that sleeping well during your stay is important and we can try to guide you to the best unit…or add a topper if too hard or support if too soft. Again, just let us know during your stay (or prior to arrival) so we can adjust accordingly. We look forward to hosting you again, albeit in a different unit and/or property. Aloha.

Perfect basecamp for island exploration!

We really enjoyed this little corner of Kauai paradise! Great location walking distance near the ocean, shops, and restaurants. The unit we rented was much bigger than expected – the photos don’t do it justice. There were lots of nice touches throughout the place, and the full kitchen will all sorts of cooking gadgets and tools was a real treat. Even the simple touch of day bags we could use was an unexpectedly useful surprise. We would definitely stay here again if (when!) we come back to Kauai!

Wonderful property in the perfect location

We had a fantastic time at the Waikomo Stream Villas. It’s a lovely property, with beautiful landscaping on the grounds – feels very secluded, even in the midst of other complexes and shopping in the area. Easy drive to the airport in Lihue, out west to Waimea, and of course all the attractions in the Poipu area. This particular unit is really nice, as well. Very spacious and comfortable, and tastefully decorated with art that reminds you of what a special place it is you’re visiting. It is a bit of a hike up the stairs, but I loved the vaulted ceilings the upper floor position affords. Highly recommended for a couple or family visiting Kauai!

I want to stay longer. Will be back

???? Beautiful place to stay. The kitchen was fully equipped. The pool was nice. Close to everything. First class! ???? The couch was the only thing. That’s being really picky. Nice looking couch but not very comfortable. Then again I didn’t come here to couch.
