I loved staying at this beautiful condo. Full kitchen with everything I needed to cook. Washer and drier, beautiful porch area, very clean, in walking distance from a cute little shopping area and a few beautiful beaches! Very quiet but still lots to explore, conveniently located at the perfect spot on the island- about 1 hour from each end of the island, so nowhere was too far. Very detailed when it came to check in and check out, I was never once confused on what to do or where to go. Thank you! I can’t wait to come back, and when I do, I’ll be staying here again ?

A great location for visiting sights in the South and West end of Kauai and the complex grounds are beautiful. The unit furnishings are a bit dated, but it is a large 1 bedroom unit and has a nice private balcony. The kitchen is well stocked for meal prep.

This was a very nice place to stay, roomy, had everything we needed, close to the beach, beautiful jungle scenery and sounds. However, because it was so jungle dense there were a lot of mosquitos, couldn't really use the porch because of them and lots of roosters that caw throughout the night right next to your window. We woke up every night to this. This is not the air bnbs hosts fault as it is throughout the island but those were our only complaints.

Frequent visitor to Kauai since 1996. Stayed at this Airbnb in February 2022. This was a great and convenient condo and location in Koloa/Poipu on the sunny, southeast part of Kauai. The unit description was accurate. We would return again to this location. Very welcoming and well-apportioned space for two people. The bed was comfortable, though perhaps a bit too soft/not quite firm enough as the mattress had some soft spots/indentations. Bedroom has a portable AC unit (rest of unit is not AC equipped), so it can be a little noisy if you can't drown out or sleep to an AC humming / white noise sound. Wish that the unit had smart TVs (there were two TVs, one in living room, one in bedroom) so that we could cast shows from our phone, or stream shows from built-in apps like Amazon, Netflix, etc. The condo has a pool, but no hot tub. Appreciate the timely and frequent communication, as well as the various ways to contact Parrish - via AirBnb messaging, and also via text and email. Very smooth and easy self-check in process.

Unit 523 is spectacular! Totally re-modeled, it lacked for nothing. Bed was comfortable and the kitchen was extremely well appointed – down to whisks and pasta pots! Blender, toaster, full kitchen and Ice bricks for the two coolers provided. Also provided Boogie Boards, beach towels, and rain umbrellas (beach umbrellas would have given them a 6 start review. Maybe a future guest will leave some. ) We used the gas grills near the beautiful pool to do steaks one night. Location was convenient for us and the staff was responsive to our every question. Returning to Kaua’i would mean a return to this unit. Sue and Rick

Liked the proximity for walking to ocean or town

Bathtub needs skid-proof mat or treatment especially for seniors Also need the newer higher toilets especially for those with bad knees…. too low

Budget friendly, good location, small & quiet complex.

We stayed at Waikomo Stream Villas in unit 523 from Nov 2-9, 2018. The condo complex is small and quiet (except for the roosters and bird noise). Location is good – short walk to shopping and restaurants. Very short drive to other shopping, restaurants and many different beaches. Lots of parking and a heavy canopy of trees makes shade for keeping the car cool. With that tree canopy comes LOTS of leaves – so leaving the top down on a convertible isn’t an option even for short stops. The complex has lots of beautiful vegetation and pretty ponds, and of course a stream. There are lots (LOTS) of spider webs outside in the trees – but we didn’t see even one inside our unit. Stay on the paths to avoid webs. Arrival and check-in after hours was very smooth. Keys were exactly where we were instructed to retrieve them etc. Our unit was clean, had abundant windows and several fans for air movement – as is typical with most Kauai condos, there is no A/C. We found it to be comfortable by leaving all windows open and fans going. But by keeping the windows open for air movement, it is impossible to keep out the rooster and bird noises that often start by 5-6 am. Worked out ok for us – But if you want to sleep in, wear ear plugs. The condo has comfortable standard rental style furniture, two nice TVs, granite countertops and fairly new basic cabinets. The flooring is carpet throughout and tile in the bathroom and kitchen. Upgrading the flooring would have improved our impressions of the unit considerably. The tub/shower appears to be original but has a newer showerhead. Would also recommend to the owners to upgrade the tub/shower bathroom. Small investments throughout the unit would leave a much better impression with renters. Kitchen has all essentials for cooking although we chose to eat out this visit. The dishwasher works properly but isn’t in good repair (the door binds, doesn’t open flat and it is very dated). Front closet had some beach equipment – but chairs were mismatched (not the same height), beach umbrella stand was there but not the umbrella. There was a large cooler and a few boogie boards. A small investment in 2 good chairs and umbrella for renters to use would be a nice touch. Closet needs to be organized and cleaned. Pool is warmed and the area is clean and has plenty of comfortable loungers. There are bbqs there to use if you plan to cook. Overall good rental for price. Thanks for the stay!

Time to relax and enjoy...

The property itself is wonderful, an easy to walk to the ocean/ beaches, Spouting Horn and Arboretum; easy driving to grocery shopping and Monday market (fun to just go and look). My only objection to the particular unit we had (523) is that it had very limited microwavable cooking ‘pots’; that is it had only pyrex mixing bowls, earthen ware dishes for microwave use. None of which had lids for putting leftovers into the refrige. However, this is compensated for by the wonderful experience of sitting on the lanai with coffee or a glass of wine and listening/ watching the birds = wonderful. Plus the on-site representatives of Parrish have always been pleasant and attentive to questions and requests, and are pro- active in doing what they can to make visitors’ stays meet their expectations.

Tastefully decorated, quiet, clean

We have traveled to Kauai many times. This unit at Waikomo Streams was a real find. It was immaculate, quiet, convenient and very tastefully decorated as well as supplied with everything you would need to enjoy yourself at the beach. I highly recommend this unit. We found it a great value at 129.00 per night. The gardens at Waikomo Streams are lovely. You feel like you are right in a tropical paradise when you are on the lanai.
