Whalers Cove #221

We sure enjoyed our stay. Beautiful balcony view. Saw dolphins, whales and turtles from the balcony. The place had plenty of space, nice to have the 2 1/2 baths. We appreciated all the extras, binoculars, beach chairs & cooler. We definitely would stay again!

This Condo was well stocked with everything you need for your vacation. Location is amazing. Views are to die for. The unit was comfortable with a lot of fans when you needed them. Pool is nice and quiet. Property management company made the process trouble free. Thank you!

The property is in a great location, convenient to excellent snorkeling and great restaurants and shopping. The unit was very clean and spacious with wonderful views. We saw whales and turtles from the dining area and lanai. I highly recommend this unit. The swimming pool is very nice and sunsets from the lanai or back lawn were gorgeous. Our main issue was with the checkin. The unit was supposed to be available at 3pm. We arrived right around 3pm but had to sit in our car in the parking lot for about 40 minutes while the cleaners cleaned the unit from the previous guests. On top of that, our only very minor quibbles were that the water heater seems perhaps a bit small because sometimes one of us had to take a cold shower if others had showered before us and/or the dishwasher or washing machine was run recently or concurrently. A few other small things were a bit off like a broken screen on the front door when we arrived and sliding screen doors to the lanai not working properly. However, those issues were extremely minor and we had a wonderful week stay in this unit at Whalers Cove. I highly recommend this unit.

Would stay here again. Great condo. Remarkably furnished and well stocked. There is no A/C at Whaler's Cove, but the November temperature was mild (maybe it is that way year-round) and with lots of fans in the unit, we were comfortable. Very quiet and relaxing place, very close to shopping and eating.

This is a perfect place for a family of 4 (2 beds). We were 5 and it was fine as there is a sofa bed. I would say 6 would be tight. There is no air conditioning and it can get warm but with the balcony doors open - not a problem. Everything else is absolutely wonderful. Well stocked with much appreciated extras like laundry detergent pods and salt and pepper as well as shampoo etc. Basically thought of everything. The view is spectacular Furniture and bedding are high quality and comfortable Décor is beautiful Even Nice touches like a book on the history of movies in Kauai. Pool is nice but wish it was infinity. Short walk to shops/food. Close to Poipu beaches. Parking easy. We have stayed in excellent places around the world and this is memorable. Price is fair. Would definitely return if going back to Kauai and prefer to stay here over brand name resorts.

Fully equipped spacious condo with waterfront views, pool and Jacuzzi, and turtle watching. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Be aware of multiple high fees tacked on to basic room price.
